Staff is super friendly, Peter at the bar was great gave us a friendly introduction to Africa, rooms are small but just what you need, mosquito nets were fantastic covered the whole of the beds without getting stuck on your face, pool was clean and water was cool in the sun, breakfast was fantastic i recommend the Spanish omelets with sausage, the Lodge provided us a guide who was also fantastic and not out of budget to visit the local wildlife centers took us shopping and provided good meal options in the city.
Safe in our room did not work, easy to trip on uneven stones walking around at night.

Kind attentive staff from year to year!
Had an issue with not being picked up at the airport, but NOT Osoita fault as the private driver wasn’t at the airport when we waited for him. Eventually we had to hire two taxi drivers for an expensive ride to the lodge. However, management immediate reimbursed us and I know it won’t happen again. I come every year and will continue to do so.

The food was delicious. The hot water shower was fantastic and the balcony room was great.
The dust along the main road was really bad.

Stayed as a quick one night stop before flying home. Staff were very friendly and quick to respond to any requests and organised a taxi for us to be picked up from the airport. Rooms are basic but clean. Unfortunately the weather was very cold when we stayed so didn't make use of the pool. Onsite restaurant served good food.
One of our rooms did have a damp smell. We did also book 3 x double rooms but arrived to find we were given 2 x doubles and 1 x twin

Beds are a bit hard, but not that bad.

The breakfast.
The staff.
The ambience.
The food at the restaurant is always bomb. ( I love the butter chicken with the roti and naan, OMG! Authentic Indian food. So happy to always order. :-D )
The fact that nobody told me I should wait a few minutes for the shower to get warm. :-D

The breakfast is always on point. Fruits. You can choose from scrambled, poached, omelette, fried or hard boiled eggs. Then if you are lucky you can get a pancake. Mostly the eggs ( which are two ), come with a sausage, bacon and sausage. The fruits can range from pineapple, melon and banana. Sometimes you can't get them all but you can get two bananas as I did on the first breakfast. Fair enough. The staff is polite and friendly. I have been here two times and each time it is hard to leave. I haven't been in the pool yet but it is nice to see it being used as the weather in Rongai has been rather warm than cold which is awesome! The food. OmG! Authentic Indian food which I LOVE!
The hot showers. :-)
The bed and simplicity of the place.
Nothing major.
I didn't get bread today for it was finished. But the pancake served as bread for me today, so my good people, make sure you have the toast ready tomorrow morning for me eh? I know I was a bit late but still... come on peoples, I need that buttery toast! :-D

I chose this hotel because of the location, reviews and for the vegetarian restaurant menu (sadly, the included breakfast was not vegetarian and no fruit offered). The room hadn’t been cleaned in a while as there was rodent feces on the floor and the water wasn’t turned on. Staff was very friendly and understanding.

Amal and Martin were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. They even organised a doctor to come and do my covid test there at the lodge. In fact all of the staff were lovely.
Everything was great!

The hotel is on a dusty road so be prepared to get a nice free Kenyan massage... The lodge arranged transport from the airport (45 minutes drive) which was nice. We were looking for a hotel to relax for a day after our international flight and which was near the elephant sheldrick orphanage and the Giraffe centre. The next day our safari-trip to the south started. And this hotel is a perfect hotel if you want to skip the big city Nairobi which was our wish. Really nearby, less then 10 minutes away from the sheldrick orphanage. The hotel arranged a driver for us to the elephants and the giraffes centre. The pool was very welcoming for our children to hang out in the afternoon with good working wifi. The food and drinks in the lodge were also good. So good place to hang out for a day.
The beds were really hard :-)

Clean, Nice staff, good food
Everything is fine.
It was just some neighbor dogs barking a lot during the night.
The security needs to be improved.

Clean, cheap
Poor security, scary place. Didn’t feel safe.
Had to escape after one night.
Rooms were not isolated for sounds.
I don’t recommend this place

No complaints at all!

The staff are very friendly and efficient. They made a complementary cake for my husband who was having his birthday. They even set up an amazing candle lit dinner table for us. This for sure is a must visit again!!!
We had an issue adjusting the showers but we were able to eventually.

Had my own little cabin and the room was just cosy and comfortable.
They grow their own vegetables in summer and the lodge is build from the resources which have been on the ground before. Very green everywhere and the food was amazing! The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
I’ll definitely tell my friends about it!
