Super location, luckily we had a room out the back, so it was quiet.
The room was really tiny, and the quietness out the back has the downside of a rather ugly backyard view.

Well-placed
Noisy and too hot.

I like it, I want to stay one more day

We went in December in the time that the Christmas market was there. It was the perfect location, very close to where we wanted to roam around, so that you can still take bathroom and rest breaks in between. There is no reception, but it was still very easy to get to your room with your log in details. There is however an overwhelming smell hanging in the hallways that wasn't that pleasant, hence the 8 out of 10 rating I gave. Assuming that the smell comes from the restaurant next door/downstairs mixed with the building being old. This smell is luckily not in the rooms. For the rest our stay was very pleasant, and we will be back if we get the opportunity.
The smell in the hallway.

Nicely arranged little single room with coffee machine
Very bad ventilation in the common parts: very smelly due to an open door to the restaurant located on the ground floor. Unfortunately, the smell stayed through the night (while it could easily be aired out once they close the kitchen).
Quite noisy neighborhood, in the evening (drunk people on the street) and in the morning (garbage collection).
A water kettle would be nice.

great location, clean it had everything you needed

Location was top. We came for the Aachen Christmas market and found our hotel to be a couple of steps away from the centre of the market.
The room was smaller than expected and the noise from surrounding rooms was unbearable.

cosy
check in by code was a disaster - sometimes access worked sometimes it didn’t. if you’re going to treat people as a number - better make sure the system is foolproof.

You can't find a better location in Aachen. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and we loved being able to open the windows that looked out onto the street. Aachen is very walkable, and having a place to stay in the middle of everything made our trip that much better. We would definitely stay again.
Check-in was easy, but the handle to our room was very temperamental. Thankfully we had help from another guest who showed us how to maneuver it (the trick was to turn it very slowly!). The hotel itself was nice and quiet, but you should be aware that the area around it is not. There are some lively bars a few doors down, and you can expect to hear people at all hours of the day and night, even during the week. Because the streets are so narrow and the buildings are so close, the noises are that much louder. It's obviously not the hotel's fault, but if you need quiet when you sleep, be sure to bring your noise-cancelling headphones.

Location was amazing (maybe a bit noisy in the evening but with the windows closed it's perfectly fine), everything very clean.
The room was very small

Very good location
When you enter the hotel, the common area has a horrible smell, like rubbish. Our bathroom was not clean. The toilet looked terrible and didn’t work well. I have attached a picture how what it looks like when we arrive.
A very bad experience.

I loved the excellent location.
I struggled to open the downstairs door initially.

Wonderful location, right in the heart of old Aachen.
First the check-in procedure: confusing. We knew that there would be no Reception, but getting through the two outside doors and into our bedroom was far from easy, On several occasions a lady from the restaurant downstairs gave us help, but she gave us conflicting advice, differing from the advice given online.
Secondly, the noise from outside, until 2am on the Friday and Saturday nights. Ear plugs were provided and there was double glazing, but that wasn't enough.

Fabulous location, right in the heart of old Aachen.
First, the check-in procedure. We understood that there would be no Reception. However, checking in was fraught, as was gaining access to our bedroom throughout our three-night stay. We followed instructions for checking in gaining access to two outside doors and our bedroom, but on three occasions needed help from a lady from the restaurant on the ground floor. She gave us conflicting advice and this differed from the advice on the outside door and the advice sent to us in advance. We never failed to gain access to our bedroom, but it wasn't exactly plain sailing.
Secondly, it was very noisy outside until 2am on both the Friday and Saturday nights, despite the double glazing and the ear plugs, which were provided.

The location of the property was central and well placed.
The hospitality was poor and the room is ridiculously expensive for the size.

it is very close to the city center, it was quite and the. Ed was comfortable
The room was super small, I cannot image staying with a second person.
if you don’t stay to long in the room, it is ok, but otherwise, it gets very cozy.
