昭和の香りが漂う雰囲気で落ち着けました。お風呂も予約制だったので、他のお客さんを気にせずゆったり入れました。
お風呂が天然温泉ではなかったことくらいです。あとはとてもよかったです。

This place is amazing! The owner is a wonderful person who helped me with absolutely every inquiry I had. I have only good things to say about my stay here. Everything is clean, the room was beautiful traditional Japanese style. I also got a lovely yukata to wear during the stay. There was a tea set and freshly brewed iced tea in the fridge when I arrived. The owner carried my bags, showed me around, made restaurant reservation for me, and even picked me up and drove me back from I hike I was on, and to the train station. Hospitality was as I imagined in it would be in Japan <3 Thank you!
It is an old house so you can hear other people walking up the stairs, and it gets very hot on the second floor in summer (there is an air-conditioner in the room though so it is only hot in the shared facilities).

it's a warmly stay, the host was very kind, send you to the view spot, even send ur baggage to station. The amenities was also good, through reserve u can take bath privately. All were like home, a traditional Japanese style experience.

Wonderful place with wonderful hosts. They have onsen available via electronic reservation system. They also offer a splendid dinner for additional cost which exceeded all expectations.
Everything was great.

Hotel owner is a very nice person. He picked us from the train station on our day of arrival. At next morning, he drove us together with other guests to Mt. Omuro and also showed us the bus station from Mt. Omuro to Jogasaki Coast. After we finished our sightseeing at Jogosaki Coast, he arranged a van to pick us from Jogosaki Coast together with our luggages and drove us to the train station. This saves us a lot of travelling time and we appreciate very much for the arrangement. There is a Mandarin speaking lady working at the hotel who was also very helpful in providing us information about touring around in the area.
The room does not have a washing basin so it is a bit inconvenient if you want to wash your hands or something else. Since we only stay for one night so it is not a big problem. The hotel is situation along the road so it is a bit noisy. Should not be a problem as the traffic in small town is not busy but for those who are sensitive to noise need to be aware.

This traditional ryokan has been around for 3 generations. The host is incredibly kind, and the food was plentiful and flavourful. The room was kept clean and meticulous. Our family was left with a wonderful memory of Izu Kogen, our first trip after Covid. Thank you so much.
none at all

You can walk to the hotel from the station south exit by using Google map and return to the station by car from the hotel for free. The hotel is very helpful.
There are Max value and 7-11 near the hotel. You can buy your meal easily. Onsen in the hotel is very good and private.
Walking path from the station to the hotel is a bit long if you have heavy luggage.

The owner would have picked me up at the train station and also drove me there the next day.
When you arrive you get a Japanese Yukata to wear which is nice. It‘s really a authentic Japanese Roykan.
To me the Japanese Beds are just very uncomfortable in general. The private Onsen was cool, but I‘d prefer it to be outside and a bit more nature like.

bath was ordinary

Affordable price.
Bath water was too low temperature in the early morning so I couldn't enjoyed.

Noise from the road during the day. In the evening and during the night it is quiet. And my room was directly directed to the road 😉
