Location near motorway
Staff incredibly stressed and rude, wouldn't let me buy a bottle of water after the bar had closed, even despite the fact that the tap water in the room was only coming out boiling hot. So spent the whole night without any water to drink. Room was incredibly hot and was impossible to open a window due to the mosquito breeding ground behind the "hotel". This place doesn't deserve to be called a hotel, 2 stars, not a chance, not even 1. Absurdly bad service and quality, total rip off

Easy location to find, great for one night as we were catching the ferry the next day
Updating a bit.

we like Omar’s service in the dining room and reception and the food was delicious.
it’s location, the bathroom and shower clogged, the rooms were very loud and walls thin, late night partying outside of the hotel and in rooms that went unchecked until 6am. it sounded like a psychiatric ward and we got no sleep. the reception in the morning was cold and unfriendly, and our prepaid breakfast was not served until 8am and we were pilgrims walking the Camino and there are no exceptions to the rule. there were a ton of pastries out as we left at 7am but reception refused to sell them to us. when we left there were broken bottles and trash all over the front of the property. NOT a buen camino at all. pilgrims beware.

location good for ferry
From 6.30am to 1.30 at night the noise from the cafe / bar could be heard dispute windows closed.
The room was old and dated , including the avocado green bathroom suite.
No fan despite it being sweltering hot.
No one at reception most of the time.
Very expensive for a bad nights sleep.
We won’t be using again.

basic Spanish hotel, reasonably priced food
looks grim from outside but it’s ok for overnight stop. parking is at front of hotel and used by locals so hit and miss for a space . Accommodation is very dated but clean.

Clean room
Reception desk empty most of the time, the bell ignored. Taverna is the only way to go into the hotel and drunk people watch you going through with luggage. No elevator.

Great location for the hikers on the Camino!
The staff, especially the gentleman behind the bar, was a very hard worker and very helpful, even though it was very busy.
Unfortunately, the cafeteria was packed with people so they closed and ran out of food. We got the last of the pinchos, but other people were turned away.

The rooms were large and thoroughly clean
This is a truck stop hotel which is noisy and apart from the rooms, which a clean and comfortable, not to be recommended. I was on floor one at front and it was impossible to open windows for the noise. No WiFi in room. Hotel extremely busy with locals and drivers. A big mistake on my part for a quiet night before the ferry. Evening meal basic and reasonable quality but same price as previous night in a Hospedaria with a la carte menu!

Dinner was good and the room was nice with a good shower and a nice comfortable bed. Close to the motorway
It's a bit out of the way if you are walking the Camino but I took a short cut that wasn't signposted although the property is signposted 1.7km away from town.

Everything. It is such a disappointment when you first arrive and see the outside with the smokers and to be honest it does seem a bit scruffy. However we have been several times and know that the hotel, cafeteria and restaurant are all excellent.
Just the old time weary complaint of smokers polluting the air outside the premises, but hey there I was once one of them 😀 xx
