Good location. But that's all it could offer
Felt unsafe , numerous men loitering around our car and the entrance .
Bed sheets were full of black hairs .
We didn't stay , still awaiting a refund .

Typical, uninspiring budget chain hotel. Small bland room, but everything worked and the beds were comfortable. Basic though adequate continental style buffet breakfast,
There is a small car park adjacent to the hotel but according to the staff this rapidly fills up on a first come first served basis. The hotel has an arrangement that customers can use a local B&Q car park as an overflow car park, but this is several hundred metres away. Hardly ideal if you have a lot of luggage.

Staff friendly.
Rooms are basic - so you have to bear that in mind. As it says on the tin - budget

Only there for one night, it was a good cosy room
No lock on the toilet door, which wasn’t major as I was with my partner. But nice to have

Check in time too late! Unfriendly reception staff at night! (A short hair woman) ! No toothpaste and toothbrush!

Misled about parking. Very little dedicated parking. When I booked informed dedicated overflow parking was over the road. In fact parking was at B&Q. Reception told me I needed to pre book the parking by the hotel but wasn’t told this when I booked. Matter made worse by most of the parking in front of the hotel being changed to electric car charging points. In addition had 2 false fire alarms in the middle of the night

We enjoy staying here. There was a bad spell like drains in our room when we checked in but we were soon moved to another room.
The coffee machine was not working at breakfast which wasnt explained when ordering breakfast but overall a great stay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, every time we went past reception there was always a friendly face and someone on hand. I travel the country and stay in hundred of hotels and always wait so this was superb. On all the reviews there were notes about a lack of kettles and irons etc however staff had made a sign to show customers they were available from reception. Property was really quiet, other guests where friendly and polite. It’s conveniently next to a Tesco for a cooked Breakfast or a Subway, KFC or McDonald’s. There are two Buses which take you to the beach, city centre or gun wharf every 10 mins. There are a few parking spaces outside or free spaces in B&Q opposite. Our 5 year old loved the Bunk bed over the main bed, both were really comfortable as was the pillows and the duvet.
Just the odd niggle. There are four electric parking spaces and all spaces were taken up by normal cars. I have an electric car however used Tesco’s chargers as they were faster if you find the same issue yourself.

Good location and staff were good.
Room felt grotty, toilet seat was broken and loose, breakfast was crap. It’s Supposed to start at 6 but got down at 7 and had to wait 10/15minutes for some bread.
It is supposed to be budget but paying nearly £100 a night for this, is not a good price.

Very clean, good size room with excellent shower.
Noisy outside of hotel, opposite a KFC and tesco store.

Close to Fratton train station. Subway, KFC, McDonald's very close by. Tesco is over the road. Shell garage and Lidl just around the corner. Staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast although continental, had a fair amount of choice and was delicious.
The room is basic, but does the job. Small tv, beds were very hard for us. The toilet is like a hot cupboard. If it's just wash and sleep. It's ok.

Cleannesses was appalling, stain on bed, towels. Dust everywhere, used toilet roll on the toilet. For the price you’d at least expect it to be clean. The only good thing I could say about the place is the staff was very friendly
