Best Hotel in barnard Castle

Very good stay really enjoyed the hotel. I have a bad knee and my room was changed to a lower floor, staff were excellent.

Very nice room for a short stay, great location.

Food including breakfast was delicious, check in was easy as was parking, and our room was very nice with a comfy bed.

Only complaint was the yellow lights in the bathroom!

Enjoyed our stay. Would stay again but only for a few days due to dinner menu.

Nice location, lovely staff, comfortable hotel. Would stay here again. Breakfast is great as is the service.

Dinner menu is poor. Would struggle to choose something different if staying for a few days. The quality of the food is good and sevice excellent.

Amazing apartment , friendly staff , great location !

Everything was great but the sound proofing was not adequate as on ground floor could hear everything from flat above .

The breakfast was fantastic. Plenty of choice and the cooked full english was brilliant. The location was spot on you could travel to plenty of places from her or just do loads of lovely walks

Great place great food and location . Maybe another room for me with a better mattress ?

The breakfast the food was very tasty . The bar area was very nice and the location was very good. In all very good.

The Mattress on the bed very poor glad we only stayed the one night on that bed in room 7, Worst bed I have slept in which spoilt our stay a shame as everything else was great. A mattress topper would have helped things!!

good accommodation attached to a traditional public house. lively atmosphere and nice restaurant with varied menu. just what we needed.

Bar was exceptionally busy and a lot of background noise when having dinner.

Beautiful pub, lovely room spotlessly clean in a fantastic location right in market.place. good hearty breakfast with quality ingredients. Well worth the money would definitely stop here again
