A spacious two bedroom house on the outskirts of town.

The kitchen was new and clean, as was the bathroom. Beds were comfy and linen was spotless. The house had plenty of space and an oval across the road, which would be a bonus for families with children.

Location was on the outskirts of town. The exterior or the house needed work..which is ok, but just not we expected from the photos. The laundry and floor coverings in the hallway needed to be upgraded.

Superb

The location was easy to find and a very quiet area. There was a great selection of toiletries to use as well as a lovely selection of teas.

Kitchen could do with a few more microwave containers.

Nice big cottage lots of room warm and comfortable but needs some attention to make it a better place to stay

Inside the cottage was clean and comfortable had all you need for a good holiday stay.

The outside of the property needs a little bit of maintenance.

It was ok, felt like it wasn’t quite what we thought it would be.

It was spacious.

Run down, the lounges were really hard on your back and the beds were on the hard side.

Needs some love and attention

Facilities were good and cottage had everything you need for self catering. House was warm and comfortable. Good location, just out of town centre

Single beds were quite small and all pillows were really high and hard. The cottage had paint peeling on the walls inside and the outside paint work was badly in need of maintenance. The laundry tap was leaking. The carport area was muddy on one side and could do with some rock or dollarmite

The house overall was really great. Spacious, very clean, well equipped and had everything needed.

One of the queen beds was really uncomfortable and squeaked whenever you moved. The 2 single beds the slats fell out when ever the kids moved.

We loved staying in Macquarie Cottage and would stay again.

Convenient location, only a couple of minutes to the shops. It was great to have a washing machine. Everything was clean and tidy.

Could easily be so much better

I liked that it was freshly painted and had a nice looking kitchen for our stay in Strahan as we had been in a caravan for 4 weeks and I was really looking forward to cooking in a real kitchen. The shower was good and we made really good use of the washing machine.

I didn't like the quality of the contents of the house .. scratchy sheets, thin small towels, really inferior quality saucepans .. I burnt the rice (for the first time in many years) and spent the night scrubbing the saucepan clean. It just really spoilt the night. This review would be so much better if just a little more thought was put into the user experience. Would much prefer second-hand or old but good quality saucepans than new cheap pans. And for really not much outlay getting some cotton bedlinen and better towels and this would have been a rave review!

Great location, plenty of room and well cared for and set up.

Great house, walking distance to food and attractions. Comfy house with fantastic back deck a front view over oval.

We all found the beds to be rather firm - great if you like a firm bed; we prefer a softer sleep :-)

Although it was an older style cottage, it was clean, comfortable, well equipped and good value for money. The rabbits f

Specious, well equipped kitchen, clean, comfortable, washing machine, quite well situated within a reasonable distance to town.

Heating was good in the lounge room, but other rooms were quite cold. Could be a little chilly in winter. There were a few very minor issues, e.g. a plug that was the wrong size for the bathroom sink, that are easily rectifiable.

Considering it is a 3 bed cottage it was very inconvenient having only 1 toilet that was in the bathroom. Owner could have supplied a room fresher spray for toilet

We booked the whole cottage. More like a house. It was so quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room.

Peaceful. PLENTY of room. handy to everything. Great cooking facilities and utensils.
