Awesome

Clean, well kept, excellent location, includes breakfast, friendly staff.

Showers don’t stay on unless you keep pushing a button and the timer lights turn off while you are showering. People commented they end up taking extra long showers because of this anomalies. The music at the restaurant nearby goes on till past midnight but it’s not bad music

Nice hostel but they don’t provide safe rooms for women only

A nice hostel but unfortunately no female dormitories

No female dormitories, so you have no option but to share a room with men you don’t know. Which is quite scary. So I did not feel safe and slept not well. I was told the hostel is run by men, perhaps they can’t imagine what it’s like for a woman.

Buen lugar para quedarse en Sintra

Me quedé en habitación privada, era super amplia y cómoda. Todo muy limpio y el colchón y las almohadas estaban super cómodas. El desayuno esta bien. Incluye panes dulces, jamón, queso, jugo de naranja o de frutas (de caja), café y/o té. Es autoservicio y te puedes servir tanto como quieras. Las instalaciones se ven bien aunque no hice uso de ellas. Al llegar, el estacionamiento parece complicado. La realidad es que siguiendo derecho por la misma calle, al fondo, usualmente hay lugar y hay un parking de paga. Lo que si es incómodo es andar con las maletas porque toda la calle es de piedra y es al menos a una cuadra de distancia. Frente al hostal no hay como parar con el carro. Solo si tienes suerte y esta desocupado, la siguiente casa tiene un pequeño espacio en el anden y ahí podrías acercar el carro y bajar las maletas. El hostal esta bien ubicado, a poca distancia caminando del centro y de los sitios principales de interés.

La luz del baño es de sensor y aunque no fue un problema, es un poco raro que cuando te están bañando el sensor no te detecte y se apague la luz. Tenía que mover un brazo para que la luz se encendiera de nuevo.

Estancia de unos cuántos días

El personal del hotel en general era muy majo. En particular el personal del servicio de limpieza era muy amable y servicial. La habitación estaba impecable.

El desayuno no me pareció bueno para nada. Poca variedad desde mi punto de vista. Lo tenía incluido y no lo usé ni la mitad de las veces. También había ruido de otras habitaciones. Afortunadamente, el personal de recepción llamó a las habitaciones para que bajaran la música y esto mejoró.

A melhor estadia em Sintra

Muito bem localizado, mesmo no centro da linda vila de Sintra. Pequeno almoço excelente Quarto com boas áreas e confortável Casas de banho e restantes áreas comuns sempre limpas Staff muito simpático, ajudaram em tudo Recomendo para uma ótimo estadia em Sintra!

Genial recepcionista

El recepcionista, Pedro, sin duda si no llega a ser por el, no habría podido disfrutar como lo hice de mi estancia. Muy profesional, empatico y agradable. Es una maravilla encontrarte con gente así en los viajes. Gracias!

Get ready for Sintra in this nice hostel

Got a double with private bathroom, windows opened on Mouros castle and National Palace (5 minutes walking) so can’t beat the view! Excellent starting point for Sintra, comfortable common area in the hostel, breakfast is fine (kitchen may be crowded so be patient)

Really lovely place! Exactly what you need after a day of walking around, and a great location.

It was so clean, modern and quiet. Just perfect! And the beds were very comfy.

Nothing really. Bathroom situation wasn’t ideal for the dorm rooms, nowhere to really change or put your stuff but wasn’t too much of a problem this time of year when it’s quiet.

Location terrific easy walk from train station and easy walk to historic city. Cosy clean homely vibe in common area, with plenty of books games art etc . Breakfast delicious and very generous. Staff friendly and helpful. Good showers. Great value. Highly recommend.

The room bathroom light and fan comes on automatically and loudly with sensors and can not be switched off which is a tad noisy and disturbing for a second guest if one gets up through the night 🙃

very clean and good quality shared spaces but is what you would expect at the price

very noisy doors, locker draw weird breakfast set up where you feel like you are watched by staff- maybe play some music and keep yourselves busy Also found the reception staff odd and if asking them a question it felt like an effort for them

Location close to all transport links(bus&train)and tourist attractions. Well equipped kitchen. Good breakfast (included), although closely monitored Lots of indoor and outside space to socialise. Clean and comfortable.

The property is located in the heart of Sintra. it looks like more than 2stars little hotels than just an hostel. The staff members are great, room very comfortable and clean, breakfast fresh served in a cozy dining area.

The kitchen and and common area with the fire place are my favourite.

We booked the private room at Moon Hill Hostel and were very happy with how clean and comfortable it was. We also really liked the breakfast that was provided in the kitchen every morning and the location made it very easy to access the central historic district and the many different palaces.
