Wonderful apartments in a super location.

The location was incredibly central and convenient, yet at the sametime with the River view, it felt peaceful. Met by host in person who was very friendly and had left a very generous welcome package! Apartment was spotlessly clean with the most comfortable beds. Felt very luxurious!

Was noisy on the weekend with the party boat and pubs/clubs over the river- no fault of the gorgeous property but not the quiet backwater location I imagined

well appointed, exceptionally comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, very clean throughout, easy access to centre of city, secure parking.

Lovely apartment overlooking the river. Very comfortable. The wine was really good too.

The apartment was clean, the owner (Chris) met us with the key and walked us through. The owners had kindly provided wine, milk, orange juice bread and everything we would need for breakfast and our stay so we did not have the awful problem of finding a supermarket late in the evening. The owners had modified the house with Covid in mind - fewer light switches and cleaning products. The house was really well presented and every detail was well considered. One of the nicest short stay homes we have stayed in. It was also perfectly located for Durham Cathedral and centre.

Absolutely nothing. The owners had provided everything we could possibly have wanted or needed.

The fresh flowers were a lovely treat. A welcome package of breakfast goodies were very much appreciated and the wine & fizz All the extras were well thought out so everything we could possibly need for a 3 day visit This is a very special find

Staying somewhere like Riverside apartments makes returning to your accommodation as pleasurable as eating out or sights

The perfect apartment in Durham

Probably the best apartment we have stayed in! Beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, very well equipped and in a lovely quiet city centre location, it covered all bases brilliantly.

What a gem!

What a wonderful apartment in a beautiful setting right on the river. Everything is top spec, excellently maintained and spotlessly clean. The hosts really couldn't be nicer or more helpful. I've stayed in many self catering places and this equals the very best of them. The terrace is lovely for watching the boats go by, listening to the birds singing, and having al fresco refreshments. Durham is a great city with lots of good places to eat and things to see.

A fabulous base for a short break in Durham.

Perfect stay in Durham!

This flat is just perfect. Top location, a few steps away from Durham's charming city centre. Super easy to get in and out. Beautifully furnished, with all comforts, a great view and lovely terrace, super comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, spacious bathrooms. We could not ask for more and will be back for sure! Thank you Wendy and Chris for the warm welcome and your tips and suggestions!

If you want secure underground parking within a short walk of the market square, Cathedral and restaurants this 2-bed, master en-suite, overlooking the river is ideal. Newly redecorated, it is fitted out to a high spec.

Riverside Perfection

The apartment was in the ideal spot, central and by the river. Chris met us on arrival to show us round and explain where places of interest and pubs/restaurants were around us. Beautiful inside and everything you could need. The hosts, Chris & Wendy had very kindly provided the basic food we would need (bread, milk,eggs,jam,butter,orange juice,tea,coffee and also a lovely bottle of wine). Bedrooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Bathrooms pristine and quality toiletries provided. Fantastic all round.

Chris and Wendy were great hosts- always available and clearly care about guests having a great stay

Exceptionally clean. Nicely decorated. Liked the balcony with river view. Great to have a secure car park space. Hosts v willing to help with any issues.

WiFi didn’t work upstairs.

Hosts are friendly and facilities fantastic! I’ll definitely come back again! Hosts prepared lots food for us! So nice and clean flat, and balcony with swans and ducks! It’s brilliant!

Perfect

The apartment was perfect. Beautifully finished and very well equipped for our self catered stay. The location is great and in close reach of the City and all local amenities. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and facilitated our needs throughout our stay. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

First class in every way

Fabulous flat. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and could not be in a better location. Chris and Wendy were perfect hosts. The met me off the train and showed me everything I needed to know about the flat. There were lots of thoughtful and delicious goodies in the kitchen and fridge for me to sample. The photo shows your view from the balcony.
