-Very friendly and accommodating -kind and generous hosts -detailed clean and comfortable and spacious bathroom and bedroom -eveythjng felt like great quality -food was 10 out of 10 especially the organic salad picked from their own garden -great view of tea gardens -they did our Laundry in a short period of time -the location was great, it is quiet and away from the busy town

Had an incredible experience at this hotel. The staff members were exceedingly friendly, ensuring that every moment spent there was delightful. The rooms and facilities were of exceptional quality, providing utmost comfort and convenience. Food was good but need to improve more. I highly recommend this place.

This was a great visit and I'm pleased to have visited!

I had a phenomenal time at the Tea Hills Bungalow. The management was very kind and helped arrange transportation to and from the train station. The room was just lovely and had an excellent view of the surrounding tea estates. The cooking in the restaurant The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were incredibly delicious. The staff was very accommodating to my requests even beyond normal breakfast or dinner hours. The hotel management helped arrange for me to get to all of the places I wanted to visit including climbing Adam's Peak, seeing Castlereigh Reservoir, Devon, and St. Clair waterfalls. I especially thought Luxman was not only an excellent driver but gave excellent advice about the area and just went out of the way to be a warm and exceptionally kind host (with excellent jokes)! I highly recommend this place and hope to return here again.

The hospitality of the owners was extraordinary. We arrived very late and were offered a dinner, which was freshly cooked for us. The breakfast was just the same - great Sri Lankan breakfast!! The peacefulness of the place was exactly what we had been looking for. The possibility of transport was offered to attractions in the area. We hiked to the Mini Waterfall and Dam and took the bus back to Hatton. But we had the Hotel's phone no with the option to be picked up at the end of our hike. Thank you!!!

The atmosphere was amazing. The place is very authentic with beautiful views. The food is delicious Sri Lankan cuisine. The staff is genuinly helpful and friendly, and made our stay in Hatton even better. They arranged a trip to Aberdeen waterfall for us, and staffmember Dilan drove us there and was so helpful and sweet.

Very large rooms and exceptional staff. They will do and arrange everything for you. Delicious food during breakfast and dinner.

Hatton itself may not be the place to be, but the hotel is a good point to go to Adams peak or other locations from.

Excellent Service and Place

Tea Hills Bungalow was a great choice. I've never had such an amazing experience with the Service. Everyone Was so kind and helpful and made me feel like home. Especially the apprentice Dilan did an amazing Job. Always smiling. He even drove me to Adams Peak, slept in the TukTuk to wait for me and drove me back, organized a private visit to the church and was always there for me. Thank you so much everyone for making Hatton such a nice experience. The rooms are comfortable and it is really private and quiet:)

The only Thing I didn't like was the humid smell in the rooms and the mould in the bathroom. But I guess it is a general problem in this area because of the climatic issues.

Wonderful atmosphere, warm staff, delightful interior, superb BBQ and amazing service. It was a home away from home.

The staff were the best thing about the whole experience of staying at the TH Bungalow. Even before we got to it the front office Lady rang us twice to check on us, we were warmly greeted at the hotel. We needed an extra room which was promptly sorted out. We requested the barbecue for the evening which was perfectly organized. The food was so tasty. The Manager, Chefs, The porter and the housekeeping staff were equally wonderful. The view from the Bungalow is perfect. Big rooms, fully equipped and The bathrooms were huge. The main thing was the cleanliness of the place. We loved the concept of the place looking like a flat with a balcony and huge sitting area and the kitchen area. Also the dining area is separate and beautifully done. We had an amazing breakfast with Roti snd Kiribath. Tasty Sri Lankan brekkie. Dilan promptly got us stuff from the local shop. We have only good things to say about our whole experience.

We liked everything about our experience.Of course there are little things around the place that need a few repairs but they are minor. For a property that’s about 10 years it looks really new.

Great value for money, very helpful staff

The staff extremely nice and helpful. Especially in helping us organise our trip to Adam's Peak. The Sri Lankan food tasted great and we had a very nice view. The accomodations were very spacey. Tip: Ask to eat your breakfast or diner at the common area near the bedrooms, to enjoy your food with a nice view. Or take a bath while watching the sun set over the tea fields.

Wonderful hosts who made our day!

The hosts are wonderful people - my husband and I were so warmly welcomed and made to feel at home right away. They went out of the way to make sure we had a lovely stay. We got an upgrade to a honeymoon suite which exceeded expectations, and the hosts (Mdm Kirosha and Mr Dayabelan) helped us even in our little requests to book a taxi, etc. Even our special requests during meals were met with a smile. Thank you so much! :)

This is no exaggeration: during our 2 1/2 week stay in Sri Lanka they made by far the best dinner and breakfast. (Sri Lankan style) Also had a free room upgrade to a bigger suite. The family running the accommodation is sooo nice and helpful. Accommodation is placed in beautiful tea hills only little far off.

Ok but needs improvement

The staff are very kind and helpful. The food was excellent and there is a nice playground at the facility for kids.

The rooms are kind of outdated and need renovation. What I didn't like the most is that the rooms are part of a 3 bed apartment. Each room is booked separately. This limits privacy and not so convenient for families unless you book the whole apartment.

friendly and quiet stay in the village of Hatton.

Friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. the food is delicious and they even provided a take out service for our train journey. the beds are Comfortable and quiet and the location of the property is within the tea plantation. fabulous views! highly recommended if you need to stop over to catch the train or to go water rafting.

Lovely Guesthouse in the middle of the tea fields

a lovely guest house close to Hatton train station. we stayed here one night before catching the train to Ella and the staff were so lovely. They provided meals and helped us with train tickets

We got complimentary pick up from the railway station on arrival. Following that, we got upgraded to better room than we booked, which was noce. The owner also organised a tuk-tuk to Adam's Peak. When we came back late from the excursion, the cook prepared a dinner for us, despite of the fact that officially the kitchen was closed already.
