Excellent place!

I was very pleased. Arrived late - they waited for me at the reception. The location is great - right on the lake. Hares run around. The room is modest but cozy. Excellent value for money. The center of Salo is about 15 minutes away by car.

Lack of space to eat and to heat the food with a microwave. Also, it would be desirable to have dinner service, although being simple meals (pizza, salads...)

Good economic rest if you have with ear plugs

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Shower and toilets in the corridor were tidy as well. Breakfast was rich enough to get good start of the day. Very helpful and flexible staff at the reception and services still available for late arrivals.

Soundproofing in low cost rooms in building E needs improvement. All noise from above, sides and from the hallway, even snoring from the next room was heard in the middle of the night. Poor sleep quality without ear plugs. Need to choose better room class next time.

The foods, the staffs and the environment are 2 thumbs up.

It was in summer time and the room was warm. I can't sleep well enough.

Good

Generally a nice, quiet and clean hotel with comfortable beds and a nice lake view from the hotel room balcony. Mostly elderly visitors in this hotel which means a quiet and peaceful stay.

No restaurant at the hotel (or at least not open at 7:3” PM on a weekday) and the hotel is located too far for food delivery. But eat in advance before arriving to the property and you are all good!

Nothing too exciting

Location was absolutely great, as well as the view from our window. Staff was also kind.

Overall, it seems that the hotel used to be a care home or a hospital. The environment is not very warm and welcoming, though the staff is. Breakfast was also a bit disappointing with a minimal choice. It felt like being in a school cantine.

Comfortable, quiet stay by a lake

A quiet hotel complex right by the lake, short ride to Teijo and Mathildedal. Seems to be mostly frequented by seniors so it's very quiet. Stuff was friendly, breakfast standard. Look out for the weapon collection in their basement!

Austattung etwas Basic, kein Internet in Haus E Unfortunately WiFi is poor and has no internet working ...closer to main house WiFi it available.
