Excelente opción

La habitación estaba muy limpia tiene un balcón la cama es cómoda y todo salió muy bien, hubo una pequeña demora con nuestra reserva pero ningún inconveniente todo me pareció muy bien la señora que nos atendió muy amable

Very good

The owner is an absolutely lovely older lady, who was very hospitable. The communal spaces upstairs were lovely - well equipped kitchen, large dining table, comfortable sofas and a nice terrace with a hammock. This area got a lot of light and waa a nice place to relax. Great value for money.

The bedroom was downstairs with no windows to the outside so it was a bit dark (the other guests using the staircase would be able see into the room if we opened the blind). All the rooms had an opening above the door which meant sound really carried around the house. Luckily everyone was respectful in the evenings. The location was at the top of a small but very steep hill so a bit difficult with luggage but otherwise ok.

Friendly owner, close to the location where the Willys leave and close to the main road. The lounge and the kitchen upstairs are nice.

Rooms are very small and uncomfortable, they do not have any windows out into the open space. We essentially stayed in a garage/basement - there was even a car parked right outside our room door. All the rooms have open grids on top of the door (to get at least some ventilation in the room I guess), which means that it is extremely noisy. We could hear every word the people outside the door or in the room next to us said. We slept very badly due to all the noise. It was also very cold. The linen and also all of our clothes were very damp because there is virtually no ventilation in the rooms. There was also quite a bad and mouldy smell. Bathroom wasn't very clean and a bit mouldy. Rooms are also very dark and there is almost no space to hang your clothes. I don't really understand the good reviews this place has, we were very disappointed..

The perfect stay

Best stay in our month in Colombia. We stayed 5 nights in that amazing room. Super nice welcome and we felt like home. The bed was amazing. Kitchen is super well equipped. Good shower. Good WiFi. 5 min from the main street. Very calm area (always some dogs in the street but that's part of the experience). Must recommended place. We loved it !!!!!🤩

11/10 - one of the best stays I've ever had

Wow, I would give this place 11/10 if possible. Rubiela, the property owner is a very sweet and kind lady who is just living her best life. She gave us a warm welcome throughout the check-in process, and gave us a lot of useful information on how to organize our itinerary for the next few days. The room and bed was so comfortable. Showers and toilets were clean - and hot water with great water pressure. The location of the place was perfect too it was close enough to walk to the main street, but just far enough so that it's nice and quiet (away from the noise). Laundry can also be done with her for a fair price, very nice bonus.

The rooms were not fully enclosed, but I suppose the purpose was for proper airflow since there are no windows - therefore a bit less privacy. WiFi was also a bit of an issue as it wasn't very reliable at times, but works for the most part.

Exceptional

Very large rooms with a lot of space to put your things. Beds are very big and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious, clean, and most of all a very nice and warm shower, with great pressure. Not something to take for granted in Colombia. The host is so kind and helpful!

Señora Rubiela is a wonderful person who showed us extraordinary generosity and care. We thank her from the bottom of our hearts. It is a great place to stay. Excellent Internet. Secure. Close to the center yet far enough away to be quiet. Very close to the Willy's.

Lovely place

The communication with the host is excellent and on site you'll find la señora Rubiela, who is absolutely lovely. The house has everything you need and, if there isn't, they will find it for you. The rooms are nice and simple. The location is very central. The WiFi works well enough for working. Recommended!

Clean, quiet and comfortable

Lovely house on a quiet street just a few blocks from all the action. Clean and well maintained room. Our host, Doña Rubiela, was so kind and welcoming. Nice patio and well stocked kitchen!

Nice house but can be noisy

Nice split level house, really a home. Full kitchen and living room. I liked the hammock with a sunset view. Jacuzzi available (but not working when I was there). Parking garage. Clean room, hot water, good wifi, secure. The staff were nice, although I never saw them again after checking in and paying.

The rooms doors are basically open at the top (bad design) so that you can definitely hear everything from the other guests and they can hear you. Lack of privacy and noisy.

Great rooms in a good area of Salento. The room was spacious and clean and also had a shared kitchen. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The price was fantastic for what you got. Highly recommended.

Great stay

The lady who owned the house was lovely, she didn't speak English but we managed to get by with some Spanish and google translate, the location was good but the town is small so it is hard to be far away from anywhere, the room was very clean and was big, it had a lovely bathroom and balcony

Housekeeping needs to be improved, we don't have to use google translation and explain what needs to be done by the staff. Wet towels not changed during cleaning. Dusty rooms.

Kind and Helpful Owner/Staff

Very nice and helpful owner and breakfast cook. They helped me plan my time in Salento and get to the places I wanted to go. Also restaurant recommendations, etc.

Steep roads in the immediate neighbourhood make it difficult for a larger car. My compact rental was ok and the van driver across the street had no trouble... but he's a pro.

Beautiful home with a tranquil garden and friendly staff

The property is brand new and beautiful. It was very clean, the shower was hot and the owner and staff were all friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful garden and terrace on site and fresh coffee very morning. We loved how tranquil it was but yet it is only minutes from restaurants and the main square. Would definitely come back next time I'm in Salento.

Home from the moment we walked in :-)

It’s a very nice and clean place hosted by a lovely woman. She and het staff makes you feel like home from the moment you walk in. It’s a short walk from the center of cute Salento. We ended up staying two nights longer.
