Good option to visit Gjirokaster

The Guest house is a traditional house in the heart of Gjirokaster. It was posible to park beside the house for free. The road to the house was very steep but wide enough to drive. The owners were very kind. The room was basic but quiet and with ac. The terrace for the breakfast was very nice. You can walk to everywhere in the city center.

The shower has no curtain.

Todo fue perfecto.

La ubicación es perfecta para conocer la ciudad, la habitación es muy amplia y lo más destacable es la amabilidad de la familia que lo lleva, muy atentos, muy amables. El desayuno es de lo mejor que hemos probado en Albania.

Le tapis rouge a très gros poils qui provoque des éternuements, il n’est pas indispensable du tout , le parquet en dessous est joli .

Como en casa

TODO. Familia muy acogedora. En una zona muy céntrica pero con propia zona de aparcamiento (recomiendo avisar antes de llegar para q te guíen o directamente te aparquen ellos el coche). Las habitaciones muy muy limpias, la buhardilla preciosa,. El desayuno espectacular. Lo recomiendo. Aunque no olvidéis llevar cash. (No aceptan tarjetas si euros o moneda del país).

Jättetrevligt litet familjedrivet hotell!

Familjen som drev hotellet var supersnälla och trevliga! Frukosten som serverades var jättegod. Vi blev uppgraderade till ett större rum utan kostnad. Det fanns en bra parkering utanför där vår bil fick plats.

Prima uitvalsbasis voor Gjirokastër

Een heerlijke authentieke locatie dichtbij de bezaar en het kasteel van Gjirokastër. De ontvangst is zeer hartelijk en alles is de gastvrouw eraan gelegen je een fantastisch verblijf te geven. Het ontbijt is meer dan prima!

Disfruta el cobijo de la gente amable de Girokaster.

La amabilidad de los dueños superó los expectativas, me trataron como de la familia. La ubicación céntrica, y desayuno muy opíparo, basto y tradicional.

Calles muy angostas y empinadas para llegar hasta la estancia. Hay que maniobrar un poco si llegas en auto.

Totally recommended!

We got upgraded to a huge and beautifully decorated room with amazing views to the castle. The hosts were super kind and the breakfast was delicious. The location is great, in the middle of the old town with true parking facilities.

Not directly related with the guest house, but we had big difficulties getting in and out of the old town with the car, especially due to construction works in the streets

Good Location!

The location is perfect, very near to the old town and also very walkable to the castle. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. The location is not easy to find because there was no sign outside or at least I didn't see but when I called, they come out and look for us.

The bathroom is a little small but that's the big issue. The issue that would be improve is the wetness. We don't know where the water came from. The shower area has no curtain, so when you shower, the whole bathroom gets wet. It's kinda messy.

Hem estat molt bé

L'atenció i la rebuda de Matilda han estat excepcionals. L'esmorzar abundant i deliciós. Els dolços que havia fet la seva mare per cap d'any són els millors baklava que he tastat. Si torno a Gjirokaster, tornaré a casa Kore!

Feel at home with Kore and his family ❤️🤌🏼

The first thing we liked is the location where the guest has been located. The hosts were so very sweet. They waited late at night until we reached there and kept the heater on for us to feel warm as it was damn cold outside during December. The room and the whole house has been decorated by handmade things which made us feel very much homely. They took good care of our daughter who is 8 years old. The guest house is located just 750metres from the castle and the market. So, it's closeby to everything. Finally, the breakfast prepared by her mother. OMG it was so very good and she made sure we had it warm. We loved the way she served everything. We felt at home ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Nothing to dislike about this place at all 😍😍😍 only one thing just to be careful about the parking and the drive to this place. Since we were very new to Albania and these types of roads we found it difficult to drive uphill and park it. But Mr. Kore helped us to park our car perfectly every time we came after our day out.

Experience the best of Gjirokaster

Located in the vicinity of the castle, with a great view. Very friendly owners, great home-cooked breakfast on the rooftop was a cherry on top.

If you go there by car beware of the absolutely steep and narrow road leading through the old town. It's an adventure in itself, I liked it, but some may not.

Fabulous

Absolutely everything. But above all, the hospitality and care of the hostess of the guest house. Very cozy room in national style. Good Wi-Fi. The room has a vein, shower gel, shampoo. In the morning, at the time agreed upon the day before, we were brought breakfast, incredibly tasty and homemade. After checking out, we left our things at the hotel and went for a walk around the town. The hotel is well located, a 3-4 minute walk from the Bazaar, very quiet, with a beautiful view of the mountains from the window

Liked everything. Small criticism - the pillow is very high, but that's a personal preference

Sehr schönes Guesthouse mit tollem Ausblick in perfekter Lage

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Ausblick auf den winzigen hübschen Innenhof. Die Treppe hoch befindet sich die wunderschöne Terrasse, dort wird das Frühstück serviert mit herrlichem Ausblick. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und alles sehr sauber. Das ganze Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und die Gastgeber waren alle sehr herzlich. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt!

La casa era preciosa. La habitación más que perfecta. El desayuno bueno y abundante. La ubicación, en la parte vieja e historica, era muy buena. La familia que regenta esta casa es lo más amable que me he encontrado en mucho tiempo. Gracias a todos por el trato. Si pudiera ponerle un 11 se lo pondría. Un sitio genial.

Sentirse como en casa

La ubicación es perfecta. A tan solo 2 minutos a pie de la zona del bazar y del castillo. Matilde y su familia nos han hecho sentir como en casa. Nos recibieron con una bebida típica de Albania y se han ofrecido a ayudarnos en todo lo que hemos necesitado. Muy serviciales y amables! Tanto las zonas comunes como la habitación son encantadoras. El desayuno es casero, completo y muy bueno. Incluye parking delante del alojamiento. Sin duda, repetiría en kora Guest House.

Tolle Unterkunft

Super netter Empfang, alles ist sauber und gepflegt, man ist mittendrin und trotzdem ist es ruhig. Die Terrasse zum Frühstück ist ein Traum und es ist ein Platz zum Wohlfühlen auch am Abend.

Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag: Vorm Frühstück abfragen, ob alle servierten Speisen auch gewollt sind. Für uns waren die Portionen zu groß, sodass einiges dann im Müll landet :(

Hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. We were upgraded to a bigger room, early check in and they drove us to the bus station at no extra cost. Delicious breakfast every morning. Location could not be better.

Great Hosts in Great Location

Great location and lovely host family. Served Raki on arrival, nice size room, had shutters to completely block out the light which allowed me to have an afternoon nap. Family was so kind, they took us the bus stop, they knew more about the bus schedules than the local information centre, bought breakfast for us to take with us. Great location, beautiful view from the shared terrace, close to the action of the main old town & castle, but also quiet. I highly recommend and would stay again.

Location, cleanliness, value for money

Communication with the host was very prompt. The location was excellent, clean room, very good breakfast. The bathroom was very clean. The car can go right up to the guest house . Matilda was very helpful and gave us a few tips on what to do. I wish we could stay an extra night to enjoy this beautiful place. Looking forward to another stay at Kore Guest House.

Perfect location very close to the city center, very clean and confortable and a breakfast in the terrace to remember. Very appreaciated the private parking. Matilda was the best host in Albania!

Worm owners, excellent welcomed, friendly, perfect services. I felt very comfortable. For sure I will come back to this guest house. Quite room, even 5 minutes walking from old town, beautiful view of the castle and other amazing architecture in the area.
