Wonderful location to explore the natural parc of Pollino. On the top of a hill with a wonderful garden and terrace. The host Agostino is very friendly and cordial, giving valuable tips to enjoy the stay. The south of the parc Pollino offers amazing opportunities for hiking. Definitely tonrecommend.

The breathtaking view from the property and the kindness of my host, Agostino made for a wonderful mini-break. the fact that I was able to travel with my dog made the experience even better! I would recommend this property without hesitation. The house is fully equipped with everything you would need for a self-catering holiday.

Agostino and Maria are fantastic Italian hosts who have elevated the art of hospitality to a much higher level! Their location within the majestic Pollino National Park is very convenient with short drives to gorgeous hiking trails and secluded wilderness areas. The creek and woods along the side of their property adds a gorgeous element to the beautiful house with awesome views, and gardens filled with olive trees and grapes in a very quiet and peaceful area. A well appointed kitchen allows for cooking delicious Italian delicacies from all the markets, bakers, butchers, etc. in San Nicola, Viggianello, and Rotonda. Agostino’s remarkably caring, generous, and thoughtful daily presence made us feel at home, and ensured that all our needs were not only met but exceeded, and all our questions about the area answered. In addition, Agostino’s deep knowledge of this vast region and very clear and precise directions facilitated immensely all of our field trips. We loved this amazing experience so much that after staying initially for 4 nights, we decided to rearrange our vacation to be able to return for 2 additional weeks. We wish we had been able to stay even longer to enjoy the amazing hospitality that Maria & Agostino so generously and happily provide to all their guests, and to explore further this awesome region. We will return! We highly recommend this property to anyone who loves nature, and is looking to disconnect and enjoy a peaceful secluded vacation that allows a seamless immersion in the charming Italian lifestyle of a small country side village, while enjoying an awesome lodging experience with a remarkable Italian family! Thank you very much Maria & Agostino for everything you both did to make our extended stay unforgettable and for making us both feel at home! We wish you both all the continued success that you so deserve! Grazie mille per tutto!

The location of this property, in the middle of the woods, is just superb! It was wonderfully cool despite it being August and well over 30 C in the surroundings. The delightful stone house is equipped with everything you could possibly need and the hospitality of Mr Agostino is unique. He was available for any kind of information and assistance, from driving us to a local cheesemaker to showing us the best hikes in the Pollino Park (not to be missed!); from telling us about local history and traditions to giving us a taste of produce from his own vegetable garden. What an exceptional host!!
PS: we were travelling with our dog and she thoroughly enjoyed running around the large garden hunting for lizards and the long hikes in the shady woods of the Parco del Pollino!
