The log burner fire was great. Especially as our stay was mid winter. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful although only available after a phone call as reception was closed. Setting may be great in summer but not that inviting in winter.
Shower was terrible, too hard to keep a constant temperature, tiles were slippery. Dumper shower head not good for those who don't want to get hair wet.
Self Breakfast ingredients supplied were minimal and not conducive with the price paid. One egg each is hardly luxury. We have stayed in places with a far superior breakfast box.
We were expecting almost 5 star accommodation for $650 for 2 nights. Actual charge on our credit card was $666!
Lounge furniture was tired, grubby and uncomfortable.
Listing stated bathrobes included, they were not.
Listing stated bbq included, none was seen. Luckily there was a hot plate and a frying pan that we could cook our steak on.
Heated towel rail wasn't working although staff attempted to get an electrician to service it but not successful.
No outside light at front veranda especially as we were arriving back after dark.
There is very little competition for accommodation in the area so that probably means they can charge what they like.
Whole place had a run down feel.

Great location. Some helpful friendly staff
Dead bugs everywhere, ant trails, old food in microwaves, no way to clean pans, no towel changes, no bin changes, no new toilet paper. No housekeeping.

Very cute and welcoming. Quite quaint

Meet all our needs for our brief stay. Was very appreciative that the owners/managers lit the fire in each of our cabins ready for our return later in the evening on a chilly night. Wish we could have stayed a little longer.
Perhaps a little shelf/bench in the bathroom for placing toilet bags, clothes, etc. And an extra towel rail for a hand towel would be handy.

The breakfast was a great bonus. The cabin was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen/ living room and bathroom were all big enough. Parking was good and privacy was perfect. Great location.
Wi-fi was a little weak.

The property is in a very quiet secluded area but close to surrounding towns. Wildlife all around, like rabbits, possums, birds etc. Parking right in front of the cottage.
Nothing to fault

Loved the individual cottages. Very spacious with a good bathroom and kitchen. Wood burning insert in the living room was a really nice feature. Super friendly staff and a beautiful and peaceful setting.

Such a lovely little cottage! Had everything we needed for the night, the bed was super amazing, after a night of dancing it was the most comfortable bed ever!
Breakfast was great, didnt get time to have it all, took the muesli with me and ate in the car on the way home.
Handy location to our event venue and it was super cute and cosy. A shame we didnt get to have a nice walk around due to timing. Thank you for such a lovely place to stay.
Must admit I was scared of the toilet flush 🤦♀️ and the shower kept going cold but that was more 'user error' on my part 🙄

Booked a break for my besties birthday. Was a nice quiet getaway

The cottage was quaint, cute and cosy, would be perfect for a winter hideaway. it was lovely and quiet and I bet stunning in spring/summer.
There was nothing not to like…..except maybe having to open and close the gate onto the road all of the time. (the farmers in us wouldn’t do it any other way )

What is not to like! Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Absolutely loved how the cottage was modern yet like taking a step back in time. Walked in and felt right at home.

Loved the rustic cottage look & feel. Nice quiet location handy to Markovina where we had a wedding to attend. Breakfast was an added bonus - more than adequate.

The cottages are exceptional-the perfect romantic setting for an idyllic weekend away!
Nothing to fault!

Lovely place for a weekend. Next to the Huntington Lodge we could just walk through the gate. Would return.
Needs some maintenance after covid. Coffee machine would be good.

Great location, facilities were good. Easy access and felt very secure. Great WiFi. Listing of places to eat and visit. But there is a need to update the places to eat in the cottage booklet. We luckily searched each one on our laptop and discovered about at least a third of the restaurants/cafes listed were permanently closed. We enjoyed our stay, would happily return here again and would recommend to others.
Netflix did not work and we tried every day. No normal TV but luckily we had a laptop so was able to watch shows/films/sport on that. We also took our own coffee and sugar which proved to be a godsend as there was no restocking of the coffee and sugar every day. Tried to cut tomatoes with the only kitchen knife and proved to be a challenge as the blade was not very sharp. For future guests, I would recommend either leaving a knife sharpener, sharpen the knife or provide a smaller sharp knife.

lovely quiet location
We did have an issue with the gas elements on the stove which flash combusted each time we lit the gas to boil the jug & had to move the kitchen curtains to one side to ensure they didn’t catch alight. It felt very unsafe.

The fire place was amazing, bed was very comfortable
unfortunately wifi didn’t work in the evening but we didn’t upset too much as we stayed at the fire place enjoying our evening

Stayed in Sauvignon Blanc cottage what an amazing cottage and the detail to the style was so on point. Breakfast was included and nicely presented waiting in the fridge. Homemade jams and fresh orange juice. Milk was in a satchel it was provided in a glass bottle. The place had a wonderful feel to it and the beds were so comfortable wish we stayed longer. Have recommended to my family to go stayed there. I will definitely stay again. 🙂
Not staying longer.
