Easy to get to, fantastic location for town and wonderful for pets. We loved the room, such a comfortable bed, the only small issue was that the shower had two heads, one fixed to the ceiling and the other adjustable but the second one couldn’t work independently.
The alleyway was really noisy from 5:00 a.m due to bins being emptied and neighbouring buildings having stock arrive.
4.3
Lovely individual decor in the room. Well thought out with plenty of places to put things, excellent bathroom, good hospitality tray and the position in the centre of town could not be better. Lovely garden for the use of guests. As it was a beautiful sunny day we sat out on arrival and enjoyed a bottle of wine that we had brough with us, perfect. Parking was excellent.
Nothing.

Position of accommodation, and parking facilities !
Nothing to dislike , we have stayed before

Central
Oh my goodness…..noisy at night. Several heavy lorries, cars and a bin lorry emptying bins and with screeching brakes at 4.45am!

Room and location were wonderful, great value for the price
Breakfast was okay, not up to the same standard, and it's a walk around the block

really well put together, lots of little welcoming touches, comfy and warm without being too hot. This is the second time I’ve stayed, and would stay again. And this time breakfast was included in the price which is much better than last time.
not easy carrying my case etc up the stairs but that’s not the fault of the property 🙂

Breakfast at The Olive Branch which is a short walk from the hotel. Warm greeting. Beautiful breakfast area. Buffet-style choice of pastries cereal, yoghurts, fresh fruit, toast and preserves (even fresh honeycomb to spoon into little pots) and juices. Then table service for excellent choice of hot breakfasts as well. All included in the room rate. Fantastic coffee in nice large cups and can order more if wanted. Attentive and cheerful staff.
Reception/housekeeping staff so friendly and nice. Phoned to ask about parking and offered early check-in. Shown to room on arrival. Fabulous room .... Huge, warm, enormous comfortable bed and very large en-suite. Great hot drinks making facilities with premium tea and coffee and hot chocolate which was delicious. Hotel so central in Wimborne looking over the main shopping area. We spent money in the sales and notched in galleries and other independent shops. We liked the choice of restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby. We ate at the Olive Branch one night and the meal was superb!
We had to ask reception how to work the heated towel rail. It did hear up but only for short periods at a time so towels did not dry, although We could have asked for fresh ones so it wasn't a big problem. Also the shower curtain was too short over the roll-top bath so water everywhere. Checked with reception who advised they were waiting for curtain to be replaced and given plentiful bath mats which solved the problem perfectly.

Style of rooms was good, recently refurbished I think. Nice little touchs and plenty of history.
No problem for us as I know Wimborne quite well, but the bar /pub was down the street and round the corner, including reception, depending on when you arrive.

The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The bathroom had a roll top bath and shower.
4.3
Lovely room with a deep copper bath as well as excellent shower. Spacious bed too.
Only slight down is walk to breakfast in another building which could be a pain if raining.
4.3
Beautifully decorated rooms, very comfortable beds. Black out blinds and curtains were a very welcome piece of decor! Very quiet location as the rooms are separated from the main pub down the road. Set within a gorgeous square with lots of shops and cafés. They won't like me saying this, but breakfast on the square was absolutely lovely.
My room was snug. I would have upgraded to a larger room ahead of time, but based on the pictures I didn't think I would need to.

Very comfortable bed, slept like been in heaven with the thick duvet! Great location and picturesque with the church just right the corner..... TV had camera so we could see what going on outside.... Very relaxing place and very clean place and a friendly 'frog' waiting for us with the remote control inside his waistcoat! 😁😉❤️
Maybe a small fridge in the room

The staff were excellent
The cleanliness was of a poor standard especially around the rim of the toilet
4.3
very comfortable bed.
the facilities did not meet the standard for a superior double. dreadful drain smell from the bathroom. disturbed night due to faulty fire alarm.

the decor was very nice.
the bed wasn’t too comfortable for me and very noisy outside with deliveries and church bells every hour.
