La gentilezza e disponibilità del personale. La colazione abbondante e di qualità. La stanza ampia e tranquilla. Il parcheggio privato è stato molto apprezzato. Posizione ottima in centro città. Cena ottima.
Gli oscuranti della stanza, poco coprenti.

The staff were lovely, we were able to check in an hour earlier which was great.
Decor was a bit dated wall paper torn the shower had no power behind it but didnt affect our stay. Just needs updating.

Breakfast was ok. Cold on the first morning but much better on the second
Found the room was nice but alittle dusty around the furniture.

The beer at the bar was cold!
Unclean , unpleasant oder throughout the complex, very loud squeaky flooring, mould on walls ,stained walls , very unappetizing full English breakfast .

It was a old building & very nice

Room was clean and very comfortable, breakfast was very good
The hotel could do with refurbishing but thus didn't detract from our stay as it was just general wear and tear and I'm sure over the winter maintenance and such like gets carried out, but this is not a criticism just an observation.

I had to go order the kids breakfast as the full English would have been far too much. Excellent value lovely staff and wonderful coffee. Bit of a maze a little tired and short staffed but isn’t most of the hospitality industry after COVID ?

Location and generally clean & tidy.
Parking - managed to get last space in the car park - not sure what we would have done had we arrived 15mins later.
Cost - £160 did not include breakfast & did not represent good value for money - £120 max would be acceptable.

The lady on Reception is so helpful and welcoming.
No plug near the mirror in the room to use Straighteners.

Location
Room too hot.
No air con and limited window opening.
Bathroom in need of update.Shabby but main room ok.

Beds were clean and comfortable.
Parking is difficult in a very small car park...many spaces taken by the staff.
Double room was small and in need of refreshing and repainting. It looked nothing like the pictures used in the write up. Bathroom bin not emptied after last occupants. Paintwork especially around the window and sill flaking badly and looked unclean.
Even though this is part of the 'Old English Inn' Greene King group the daytime menu was not available to us when we arrived at around 2 30.
The chef had shut the kitchen.
To make matters worse the chef did not arrive to cook breakfast the next day. The first reason given for this was that he was ill. Then we were told he had been locked in his accommodation.
We were told that the cost of breakfast would be refunded but seeing as this was booked on the booking.com website then I would need to get money back from booking .com . I insisted on paperwork to show a revised invoice cost but I am in no way confident that I will be getting my refund.
Staff were not unfriendly but didn't seem confident and I actually felt sorry as they were out of their depth. There is obviously a shortage of staff.

Food was good, staff were very helpful, location perfect fot Theatre
When we arrived lift was not working and as we had our 93 year old mother with us who has trouble climbing stairs, it was a bit of a problem. There was no heating in both rooms and no heating or hot water in the other for the whole of the 2 days of our stay. Made stay very uncomfortable.

The location is great right in the heart of the village, all the staff were really friendly and helpful.
windows are old not double glazed so very noisy at closing time.

No heating in the rooms, as the boiler broke down. Could've offered us a free breakfast or other in exchange during cold days.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the receptionist she was fabulous!!
A bit dated on the décor and the bathroom had seen better days! But was told that a major refurbishment is happening in 2024 costing millions of pounds!!

Leaving in the morning first thing
It was like staying in the Travelodge rooms very outdated. Bathroom wall tiles coming away silicone cracks it came with black mould . Bedroom area.
There was a higher smell of damp in the room. Not ideal for a asthmatics ! I did explain why the window was left open .

The staff were great and friendly always willing to sort things out.
The food was the disappointment at this hotel. For me good food on site is a must. Service at all times was not good, breakfast or evening. I waited 35 minutes for a starter which then had to be sent back.

The location is perfect, such a friendly lovely little town ,with dome good named shops
We went for three days over the Christmas we paid 75pp for Christmas Dinner and it was rubbish, they delivered it 2 hours late ,and was left over scraps ,and to top that they shut the hotel completly down from 6pm,so was nothing avalible

Location in Wimborne town centre.
Was not able to buy a cappuccino coffee for my partner in the bar on last evening, bar was busy and abrupt answer from the barman was "No hot drinks"!! Without even a sorry we're not doing hot drinks. Not really acceptable for a hotel/restaurant and Bar in the hospitality industry!!(:

I thought everything was absolutely incredible. I'm aware that a refurbishment is happening soon. I really hope that the refurbishment doesn't take the charm and character away. The current style of interior design is perfect. Nicer Televisions would be a good spend of the budget. Leather sofas would be amazing. Also, Bath matts would be nice as well. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect and I can see myself spending a lot of time here in the future as long as the price is right. :) I really enjoyed my stay and would like to say that Samantha at reception was absolutely fantastic. She had a brilliant smile. I can't remember the names of the other three gents but they were fantastic too. Compliments to the Chef my Eggs Benedict was amazing. The night Porter was very friendly. The Managers were incredibly helpful and the F&B Assistant was a very hard worker. Overall an incredible stay and would definitely recommend.
Baths Matts.
More staff.
Nicer TV in room.
More Channels.

Nice location ideal to see Wimborne and Minster close by.
Little information given by staff upon arrival about the hotel but didn't spoil the stay...
