The house is amazing and views are spectacular. So nice to sit and chill in the upstairs bar area and watch the sunset over Lough Foyle. Sheilagh is so nice and helpful. Breakfast choice was great. Particularly loved the porridge with Baileys cream and smoked salmon. We loved it so much my mum and dad booked to stay a couple of weeks later. A great base for touring the Innishowen Peninsula and even all of North Donegal / Derry city. Hot tub was great too !!
Nothing to dislike

Sheilagh and Michael have created a beautiful home from home, with a true Irish hospitality.
We are a family of 4 and the family bedroom is a great size for us all.
My favourite thing about Templeview is the upstairs bar area, which has comfy sofas and big windows that look out over Loch Foyle. It's a beautiful, spacious, peaceful space. A bookcase filled with interesting book completes this chill out zone.
Perhaps a couple of plug sockets by the second bed would be useful but there are 4 plug sockets at the other king size bed.

This guesthouse is really a smally boutique hotel. The bedrooms and en suites are huge. The breakfast is wonderful. The guest lounge area is fantastic. We will definitely be returning next year. It is tremendously good value. Julie Longford.

Beautiful views, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great Irish breakfast. Loved the fact that there are several semi private public areas where our 5 person group could meet to chat, reminisce about the days events and plan the next days activities in relative privacy without being a nuisance to others.
This is a top-notch, well-run facility.

Me and my partner are just back from a stay here. Staff were very friendly and Sheilagh made us feel at home and couldn’t do enough for us. I would definitely recommend this place, surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. Hopefully I will get to visit again.

Amazing house. I loved the upstairs bar.
The owners even let me keep my motorbike in the garage.
The breakfast was very nice also.
No complaints at all. Just double check booking as we had to pay cash on departure rather than via app. Don't know the reason for this but just check to save any confusion.

Great breakfast - outstanding porridge and sausages, with a breathtaking view from our breakfast table. Very comfortable guest lounge with reclining sofas, and it was obvious that the hostess takes pains to make sure guests have all they need to enjoy a peaceful, restful stay. The view east from Templeview Lodge is just stunning and the house has been designed to make the most of it. Location is ideal for exploring Inishowen peninsula and there's no shortage of good pubs and restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. Best of all, our hostess, Sheilagh, was a real lady who welcomed us with such warmth and treated us with such grace and kindness throughout our stay that we were truly downhearted to leave.
Nothing. One of the best guesthouses we've ever visited, anywhere.

What a fantastic place to stay! Our host was very kind and friendly, easy to communicate. The breakfast was awesome, not only delicious, but with a view. This is possible the best B&B in Donegal. The house was very welcoming, had a great view, the room also had a view to the bay, was super comfortable and clean. Bottled water, coffee, tea, biscuits were in our room as well. They had a nice spacious common living room area upstairs, again with a view. All in all everything was top notch. Thank you
