The house was amazing! Very clean inside and outside and plenty of room for us. The sights and sounds of the ocean made for relaxing evenings after hiking in Acadia, and the large back porch area allowed us to spend plenty of time outside. Corea was a nice little town with necessities relatively accessible. Pictures definitely do not do the property justice. I would stay here again!

What a wonderful week we had. This beautiful home is so inviting and spacious. There is room for everyone to find a place to sit and read, watch TV, or just chill by the wonderful ocean. What a view! The house is designed for comfort. Everything is as described. This was our second time to spend in Corea at this lovely space. We all left feeling relaxed, refreshed and renewed.

When we booked this house over a year ago, my excitement was high and increased as each day passed. When we finally arrived, all my expectations were met plus some! We had a group of 9 with ages ranging from 5-69. Our stay was so peaceful and enjoyable! It was our two youngest first trip to Maine and their standard of vacationing in Maine was set VERY HIGH! We definitely want to come back!

We had a very pleasant stay. The view from patio is amazing. There was plenty of room and everything we needed for food preparation. Spent most days in Acadia and whale watching. Very good rental.

We were thrilled to stay at this property on our family trip to Maine! The view was fabulous, and the home was wonderful for the 10 of us! Each of the three adult couples had private bedrooms. The master bedroom had a bathroom connected to it. The 4 children were ecstatic about their upstairs bedroom with 6 queen-sized beds decorated with a nautical theme complete with a different native stuffed animal of Maine on each bed! The property was secluded from all other homes and we had a private path directly down to the rocky coastline! We often saw lobster boats checking their traps. When I talked to Sara on the phone with a question she was very pleasant and accommodating! Besides all of that the property is quite near to the Schoodic section of Acadia National Park! You could not go wrong renting this VRBO as we did for a six night stay!!

This was the perfect house for our getaway over the holidays!
As soon as you arrive, you are struck by the gorgeous ocean and mountain views.
The house is in a private setting and has all the amenities you could ever need:
Comfortable seating, ample space for our group
Large bedrooms, multiple baths, and a fully stocked kitchen.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back in 2024

We had an amazing time in Maine! The house is fantastic, and you can’t beat the view and privacy. We had everything we needed, and Sara was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We would go down to the water each morning and evening and just listen to the waves, so relaxing! This is the first time our group of friends and family have talked about going back to the same home 2 years in a row, it wouldn’t surprise me if we do.

Had a wonderful time at the property. The house is one hour away from Acadia and 1:20 from the Bangor airport. It served as a great secluded location to enjoy the scenery while still being only an hour away from Acadia. The house was beautiful, very clean and very comfortable. The back patio is truly the highlight of the property with plenty of Adirondack chairs facing the ocean and a fantastic fire pit which we enjoyed nightly. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to get away or use as a home base to explore the beautiful Maine coast.

Pictures don’t do this property the justice it deserves.
Location was excellent near many activities for the whole family

We loved this beach house! It was secluded and so quiet! We loved checking out the small fishing towns and eating the delicious food not far from the house! Every afternoon we would sit around the fire pit and listen to the waves. We had 5 kids and 5 adults and we were all comfortable and had plenty of space. We had a small hiccup which was out of anyones control and Sara was on it quick! We would definitely stay here again!! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

We loved staying here! First of all, it is difficult to find vacation homes that are accessible and we so appreciated the ramp into the home. The bedrooms and bathroom were spacious and able to accomodate the equipment we needed to bring my son (wheelchair, hoyer lift). It had everything else we needed for my parents 50th anniversary trip too! It was sparkling clean. We enjoyed all the little things that were shared in the home (books, binoculars, games, puzzles, blankets, beach towels etc.) in addition to it having all we needed to cook meals and be comfortable in the home. We loved the beauty of the surroundings! My kids liked climbing the rocks by the ocean and exploring the tidepools. Schoodic Point nearby was a family favorite for climbing and exploring. And everyone enjoyed having this lovely, private location to come back to after being out for the day. And some stayed at the house for a day of true relaxation. We didn’t need anything while we were there, but Sara was great with other communication. We did have fog most of the time (last week of June), but we just went with it. We heard it was unusual! Thanks for sharing your home with us and for giving us a memorable trip!

This was our second time staying in your beautiful home. The first time was in the fall with friends we met on a European Cruise. We knew then, it would be the perfect location to share with our children and grandchildren. We all enjoyed walking down to the water and exploring ,the patio was perfect for dinner outside, water fights, sparklers, flying kites, relaxing around the fire pit ,and morning coffee watching the lobster boats. The house is spacious, quiet, and tucked away in a perfect location overlooking the ocean.

We loved the home and property. It is a bit remote, perfect for me and my husband, but a little secluded for our young adult children. The house is fully stocked with anything you might need and very comfortable. The view off the back patio was serene and we enjoyed our mornings and evenings outside, despite the weather only offering is one sunset. We would definitely stay again.

This was exactly as pictured on VRBO site! Beautiful secluded space where you can even watch lobster boats from the back deck. Little town of Corea is cute. Loved the Pickled Wrinkle & Ruth & Wimpys restaurant.

The house is beautifully designed & furnished. Extremely clean & well-appointed - has absolutely everything. The owner is easy to communicate with. The views from the house & patio/deck are absolutely stunning - a million dollar view for sure! We had such a good time & hope to return sometime soon.

Amazing View, Perfect Retreat
This lovely property made a gracious host to my family group of eight; every room and all furniture was comfortable and the amenities comprehensive. The huge patio with its inviting Adirondack chairs is what drew us to the listing, and it was amazing! But everything else was wonderful too; as soon as we walked into the house we felt right at home.
Plenty of linens, plenty of space and seating options for all, the kitchen well-equipped, the GPS found the house without issue, the road in not difficult to traverse, and entry instructions and stay requirements / requests quite reasonable. The upstairs is a pleasant space all its own, with full bath and a walkout over the patio for its own view; perfect for say, a whole bunch of kids or teens in a blended group. We had two up there who enjoyed it immensely. The downstairs bedrooms and side ramp into the house makes it largely "accessible" for most would-be guests.
We started and ended our days taking the access trail cut down the slope to the water to watch the sunrise or sunset and waves break over the rocky shore, enjoyed cozy evenings in the living room, breakfast and dinners eaten in, and everyone made friendly arguments that no, their bedroom was the best. The house is well-situated to take day excursions in every direction--not too far at all to get to Acadia or West Quoddy Head (for example, and what we did!). It's also definitely a destination in itself if anyone is wanting a "lazy day" in. Do: read the guest book and the host's ongoing updates between guest entries, take your morning tea on the patio, scramble on the beach rocks, see the charming village of Corea, and get to Corea Heath bog just down the road. Recommended!

Wonderful!
We had a wonderful time at this property! It was just as described, but even better in person! The pictures don't do it justice. The views are amazing and the home is perfectly decorated. The owner has thought of all the little touches to help make the stay just-right. She was also very quick to reply and answer any questions we had. Thank you for making this a great getaway and a very special 50th anniversary celebration for my parents!!!

Amazing Vacation Home
This house was the perfect place for our family of 12. We had 4 children ranging in age from 2 - 9 and 8 adults. We found a perfect beach within minutes for the kids to play out, the rocks down below the house were perfect for climbing and the nearby eating establishments were excellent. Everything about this property was perfect for our one week family vacation. We would love to be able to vacation here again. Our host, Sara, was an incredible help in answering all of my questions prior to our arrival.

Perfect House
Our group of 11 had a most comfortable and relaxing time at this lovely home. Everything we needed was available, and the location was unsurpassed. We have voted this house the best we have ever stayed in, and we have been renting for quite a few years. Lobster and grilled cheese at Lunch on the Wharf in Corea was delicious. Kids were loving exploring down on the rocks, and the adults so enjoyed the wonderful patio. Sara was very easy to communicate with, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches in the house. We would give more stars if we could.

Even better than the pictures!
This house is incredible. During the worst months of COVID, my family fantasized over this vacation by continually staring at the listing pictures, and the house did not disappoint. The main living area is larger with more comfy seating than the listing photos show. We traveled with several children and the loft area was a perfect play area for them. All the beds are comfy and the rooms are beautifully decorated. The kitchen and butler’s pantry had everything we needed including a separate ice maker and beverage fridge which made life easier. The view, even on rainy days, is absolutely stunning with exciting glimpses of wild life like seals and bald eagles. The house is about an hour from Acadia/Bar Harbor area, so know that you will have to carve out some driving time if you plan to visit this area, but in my opinion, it’s worth it to stay in this perfect place.

Nothing short of AMAZING!
This was our first full family vacation in 6 years. We were hesitant about the property until we got there because of our last experience in Maine but this place was FANTASTIC! We had 10 of us that stayed; all 16 and over. The outside patio area was our favorite area to be together. The views were spectacular and the patio was a great place just to enjoy each other's company. We took our corn hole boards and enjoyed competitive tournaments as well as eating out there, sitting at the fire pit in the evening; climbing on the rocks down near the water and looking for shells and sea glass. We got lobster from the local town co op and followed the directions provided by the owner for the best lobster and a WAY cheaper price than the restaurants offered. The house is quite a drive from the Acadia/Bar Harbor area but we did not mind. We went and hiked, kayaked, fished, shopped and we were more than comfortable at the house to rest and visit. It had an inviting and welcoming atmosphere. The owner checked in with us a few times during our stay just to make sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to come back again!

Corea Getaway
Could not have ask for a more lovely place to stay in ME. There was plenty of room for all - extremely comfortable and all the amenities you need. The back deck provides a stunning view of the cove and Cadillac Mtn in the distance.
It gave us the seclusion we wanted; yet, it was an easy drive to any number of tourist sites and attractions. Close to the Schoodic peninsula and within a 45 minutes to Bar Harbor and ANP. Highly recommend a stay here anytime of year.

Excellent stay!
We had such a great experience, it's a beautiful property, both house and surroundings. Sara was really great and thoughtful, checking in with us to make sure we were all set. Would definitely come here again! We had a tiny issue and she was kind enough to give us a very generous refund and sounds like this issue is now resolved, so we are definitely ready for a return trip asap!

Peaceful Oceanside Retreat
This property is a gem. The house is meticulously decorated with panoramic, breathtaking views of the ocean. We stayed over Christmas break and enjoyed local hikes and the amazing Anvil trail at Schoodic in Acadia National Park. Bar Harbor is a one hour drive and worth a visit. We also enjoyed happy hour at the Pickled Wrinkle whose Cranberry Moscow Mule is a must. Thank you Ray family, an amazing experience in your lovely home.

Maine was fabulous and this property was equally amazing!
This property was as presented in the photos! The location is amazing! The view from the kitchen and other locations in the home is breathtaking! Corea is such a small, quiet town but you are close enough to other harbors if you want more. Would highly recommend this property! The home owner was so kind, flexible, and responsive!

Paradise On the Atlantic
Panoramic views of the ocean and appointments within the house made this a wonderful vacation home. Perfect place if traveling with individuals with limited mobility because the ocean and surroundings can be seen from within the house.

A thin slice of heaven in Maine
We could not have been more impressed with this property. The views are breathtaking. Every room in the house is so comfortable and decorated beautifully. We loved the outdoor living space-our boys loved climbing on the rocks by the water and tossing a football on the patio. We enjoyed campfires and gazing at the sky full of stars. Our boys loved having the space upstairs to themselves. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Owner was so pleasant and easy to work with. We loved exploring Schoodic & Acadia! Thank you for the wonderful stay-we hope to be back!

Outstanding vacation home!
Our family of five stayed for a week at this breathtaking house. Great property, beautiful location with amazing views.
Located about an hour outside of Bar Harbor/ Acadia we were able to spend time in the park and shopping in downtown Bar Harbor and then go back home to absolute quiet. It was exactly what we were looking for to unwind.
