Atmosphere, bar, restaurant
Bedroom directly overlooked by neighbours, meaning had to constantly open and close curtains. a 1/2 window lace curtain would solve the problem.

Breakfast was great and the room was nice and clean
Bit noisy at times

Very friendly welcome and great atmosphere in the bar. Room was great, bed was really comfortable. Great location too, near to a great walk along the river!
Nothing not to like

Hebden captivated our hearts from the moment we arrived. The Clarendon Country Pub made our stay absolutely perfect. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome - the food was not only award-winning on paper. We had dinner and breakfast and it was the best we had on our trip. The pub and our room were just as lovely and quaint as shown on the photos. The bed was very comfortable, everything was very clean and set up with attention to detail. We were worried that it might be noisy because the room is part of a pub - but it was super quiet and we slept wonderfully. The Yorkshire Dales were right outside, waiting to be explored. We can't give enough stars for how much we enjoyed our stay.

Thé staff were very friendly. The room was pretty and very comfortable albeit quite small. There was tea and coffee available and proper milk which was nice.
No one told us that the room wouldn’t be serviced overnight. There was little hot water in the morning and we were told we should have come down to say and then they would have boosted the boiler. The breakfast was mediocre with unappealing sausages, hard poached eggs and soggy haddock.

A lovely country inn in an amazing place with lots of nearby places to visit. The staff were friendly and attentive and the breakfast was second to non.
We booked in for Sunday lunch which was excellent and reasonably priced. We would definitely go again.

Breakfast was all freshly cooked and delicious. I had a full English breakfast with delicious scrambled egg. Plenty of condiments, cereals etc and served quickly. good selection of other options as well. Room was clean and comfortable. Pub was friendly, great beers. Location is lovely just off the moors.

The location is perfect with some lovely walks right on the doorstep. All the staff were excellent and couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful
The place is looking very tired and could do with sprucing up. The room was very dated and didn’t feel particularly clean.

Delicious interesting food at both dinner and breakfast.
Friendly helpful staff.
USB ports in the bedroom for charging our phones!
The bathroom wasn’t great. We’d asked for a bath and it looked like there was one in our room from the reviews, but there wasn’t one! Even though the bathroom was easily big enough to have a bath or bigger shower. The shower wasn’t very powerful. It was a shame as the bedroom had been obviously recently renovated/redecorated to a high standard but the bathroom was dull and very basic.

breakfast was good not as impressive as the dinner we had the previous night which was surprisingly high standard for 'pub food'.
limited choice at breakfast - leaning more towards full english breakfast and I'm not a meat eater so would have liked more fruit/granola etc.
