Meals and staff were all great - and very friendly.
Loved just about anything. Only small issue was with the shower - which was extremely difficult to set correctly and underpowered.

Super friendly and welcoming staff. Modern, comfortable decor with plenty of amenities.
Wifi didn’t work in our room but possibly just temporarily down

Staff were great and food was very good... Tasty and home made.
Close to good hiking. Easy parking.
It can't be helped, but both of us banged our heads on low beams in the wonderful old building.
Overall, thought it was a bit pricey even though we enjoyed our stay.

Very welcoming greeting even though I was very arriving ie after midnight.
I had pre-ordered some food to be left in my room and it was delicious.
Very good service by the owner

The room was cosy & well decorated. The food was really nice, the staff were friendly. The location was perfect for our planned activities.
The picture was the view from our bedroom window.
Nothing not to like.

good choice of items at breakfast especially enjoyed the granola and the dried fruit.the porridge i had was really filling and set me up for the day ahead.the beds were really comfy and the service was fast and efficient would definitely stay there again
close to the road but they cant do anything about the road. the plus about being close to the road is it makes it more convenient to get to skipton or the lakes etc

Breakfast was great, set us up for the whole day. Had pizza for dinner and they were delicious (and massive). The room was really comfortable. Loved the fridge outside in the hallway where there was fresh milk and water available (we popped our lunch for the following day in there overnight as well) The owners were really friendly and helpful, other staff were excellent as well. Pub itself is warm and cosy, clean and well-maintained. Has a great beer garden out back and plenty of parking. It's a good location for hikers - we went to Malham and Great Whernside by car very easily.
Shame the full menu finishes at 4pm on a Sunday - we were looking forward to having a roast dinner! The village is small and no street lights so we weren't really able to do much exploring after dark. Went for a little walk as far as the footpath extended to try walk off the pizzas!!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the the food was very good with a good choice of menu.
Unfortunately the room was far too small for a double with no practical space for clothes and very limited space in the bathroom/shower. The kettle could not be used on the small table as there was no electric socket close enough so had to be moved to a ledge under the television, not ideal, needs a risk assessment.

Some fresh berries would be nice but there was fresh fruit to peel for oneself
Noise from road was more intrusive than we would have liked. Prefer a room at back of building

Food was fantastic, although the inn is on the main road close to all the places we wanted to go. Service was excellent the lovely staff couldn’t do enough for you.

comfy bed and great staff.
just a bit dated…. rooms could do with a lick of paint but being an old building it was acceptable.

We were greeted with a warm friendly welcome and shown to a lovely comfortable room which had everything you would need for an overnight stay. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice, good quality and tasty. All the staff were really helpful and friendly, we would definitely say here again
