We needed the house exclusively for sleeping overnight, and honestly didn’t spend much time there. Biggest issue was discovering a bat in the house when we first got in. One of the members of our party was able to coax it outside without a whole lot of trouble, and it didn’t come back during the rest of our stay. Otherwise, the house has just about everything you need for a group of 4-8 people, and is in a nice location for exploring Camano.

First let me state that the house itself was super nice and spacious with super nice deck and nice views. However , the upkeep left to be desired: frame of futon bed broken, bed upstairs under support broken, chair living room leg about to go, lack of cooking pots in kitchen, all beds not super comfortable and creaky, shower on main floor like a weak garden house

Wonderful home - up a mountain road. Beautiful environment in and out!

The house was nice, the mattresses are a little lumpy. The location is a bit far from other area attractions.

The house was just as advertised, Beautiful! Family members came to visit and there was plenty of room to visit and play board games.
I would recommend this lovely house to anyone.

My family of four (including two college-aged children) thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home while we explored Camano Island for a few days. It’s a log cabin in the forest with a water view from the deck and living room - perfect for a cup of morning coffee or an evening cocktail. We would stay here again!

The home was outstanding, clean, comfortable, views were stunning. The downstairs shower head could use some attention but it was do able. Other than that, would/will come back again. Thanks.

Celebrated our 50th Anniversary here on New Year's Eve. Children & grandchildren visited with us for two days prior and then we honeymooned for three more days. It was perfect.

We absolutely loved our time here, and it was the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. The property was beautiful and thoughtfully stocked. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!!

BAT. There was a BAT in the house! Apparently it is very common and its something that happens all the time at this place. I wish they would mention that in the amenities or specific features, "possible bat on site". I don't mean to be snarky but had I known that this was possible, I would have perhaps not booked the place. On reading the reviews again, I saw that this has happened before to someone else as well. They couldn't help since it was the last night. In the frenzy of the bat flying around the house my dad tripped and split open his head. We left the place early just to get him care. All the negatives aside, it is a pretty sweet house. They did refund me $150 of the over $1000 i spent for 2 nights.

This cabin was extremely clean and cared for. Very nice place to stay for five or six people. The deck and views were our favorite parts!

The cabin was stunning and spotlessly clean. We’re big cooks, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was the best stocked kitchen I’ve seen in awhile in a rental. Downsides: the beds were really uncomfortable. The master was OK, but the other two beds and the futon were stiff and lumpy. The couch wasn’t comfortable either. And, there was little privacy because there was no noise proofing in the bedrooms. Light shine through the floorboards! Gorgeous cabin, but bad for large groups with light sleepers.

Came in town for a wedding...
Came to Camano Island for a wedding and needed a place that would fit my family of four and an aunt and uncle. The house was great, the kids loved the log cabin style. One of the bedrooms was on the main floor, which was great because a member of our group recently had an ankle injury which made stairs hard. The views from the deck were lovely. Very peaceful getaway. If we ever get the chance to come back, we would definitely consider staying again.

You will not regret it.
Beautiful location and retreat home.
I advise if you like coffee in the morning to make sure to bring coffee or Keurig cups. There are coffee shops near by as well if that's more your thing. The couch definitely is uncomfortable after a bit, I brought my own pillow that helped with back support.

Great Place to stay, nice & quiet, but hard to find at first
Great Place, the pictures were exactly like the place. Super great place to have family time. Everything we needed was there especially in the kitchen. Got to see some deer from the kitchen window, neat. Loved the great instructions. Would rent it again!
The only concerns were the squeaky upstairs bathroom door when closing & the squeakly floors (not used to hardwood floors). There was light from downstairs coming thru the floor in a few places, but it was fine with us. Some of the beds were high for us short people, but that's not unusual. Could be better parking, but we made it work for us.
Need to have a better sign at the driveway to know that the rental is all the way on top of the hill.

Wonderful weekend getaway
The view is better than the photos show. The home is wonderfully situated by both state parks on a wooded property up a long unpaved driveway but close in enough that you can get food delivered if you want. A great base for exploring the island. Well appointed kitchen. Super clean. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Nice mixture of antique, second-hand and Ikea furniture. We actually had no contact with the property manager - it being a required category delayed this review - but I decided not having any contact was probably a testament to Vacasa doing a good job. The negatives are few: Living room furniture, especially the couch, wasn't comfortable (we took turns sitting in one chair); extremely low water pressure in downstairs bathroom sink; thermostat was set very low when we got there and reverted over night. For us, these were just annoyances and do not change my review. We will happily stay there again.

Family get away
The cabin is spacious and the views were beautiful! It was private but easy to get to and we loved the huge deck. It snowed while we were visiting and the power went out - which also meant we didn’t have any running water. I reached out to vacasa and a local rep got back to me within an hour and arranged water delivery. There was a power outage kit with flashlights, some electric candles or more lanterns would also be nice. Additionally we were unable to locate a snow shovel which would have been helpful with the steep driveway. While my older kiddo loved the loft, the house felt less safe for my youngest. There is a wide open stairway from the main level to the bottom level that ends in a locked door. The main stairs are also open slats. Finally you can see through the floor to rooms below and hear every movement you make across the floors meaning we had to be very quiet when the youngest is sleeping.

Mother/Daughter Girls Weekend
We had a wonderful weekend here spending time laughing, eating and playing games together that we had brought with us. While it was too cold to use the amazing porch, the views were spectacular. The cabin is well equipped in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and laundry with everything one would need and is a great location for quick runs to the beaches, grocery store, and restaurants. A couple do-betters are that it needs new dining room chairs as several of them are coming/falling apart and the living room furniture is not the coziest to all sit around together at the same time. Other then that, it was a great place to go and recharge our batteries and enjoy some quality time together. Would love to go back during the warmer months to utilize the outside space as well! Thank you!

Wonderful family getaway!
We stayed at this incredible cabin in the middle of December while we got new window installed throughout the whole house in Stanwood. We brought our three boys and newborn baby girl and enjoyed a nice getaway in the woods in this gorgeous cabin! Also had fun bringing a some decorations to enjoy during the holiday. Will definitely try to return again, highly recommend!!

Camano Island gem
This was such a beautiful house. Lots of character and a beautiful view. I am sure the wrap around deck serves as a lovely spot during the warmer season. Very clean and spacious. The only downfall was the water pressure in the downstairs restroom sink. However it did not affect the shower. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

Great get away
The whole cabin is beautiful and spacious! The outside balcony is huge with a beautiful view. I enjoyed sitting outside and sipping on my coffee. Fireplace is amazing and cozy, the kitchen came equiped with coffee, and lots of pots and pans. The house was nicely kept, and clean. All the rooms were cozy and had so much space. The upstairs shower has an amazing view and great day lighting. Everything was excellent and amazing. My kids loved it.

I loved being at this house.
I loved the the atmosphere of this place, the quietness, the privacy, the beauty of the surroundings, the beauty of the log house and yet having the modern conveniences, all of the windows and skylights, and the old pieces of furniture. I loved that being on the hill with the closeness of trees provided the feel of being in a treehouse as you look to the west. I loved how the trees don't block out the sun in much of the house. This place was just the what I needed during my time away from home to process a significant loss in my life.

Spacious Cabin W/Awesome View
The driveway is a bit steep and narrow but once you’re up it you’re entering the domain of this lovely place. While the light fixtures may not all match and the floors are a bit slippery, the inside of this cabin is just gorgeous! Mega high ceilings and a deck with a killer view it was a perfect stay.
