About this cabin rental

Beautiful cedar sided chalet, minutes from Helen, Sautee, and Nachoochee village. Secluded in the North Georgia mountains away from the hustle of the big city. Wonderfully laid out two story home with basement, includes master loft with log king bed,TV, and beautiful stone and tiled master bath. Main floor includes second bedroom decorated with bear themed queen log bed, basement bedroom with a queen bed, pool table and foosball table, living area with couch and love seat, and a wood burning stove to keep you warm on those cool mountains nights. Dining room has log table and chairs that flows into a decorative tiled kitchen. The gourmet kitchen has everything you will need to create a special dinner for two or feed the entire family.

Other amenities include tiled sunroom off the rear of the house that includes a new hot tub and seating for enjoying the sights and sounds of the woods. An outdoor patio that has a charcoal grill for barbecues. Also, an outdoor fire pit for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. A elevated deck off the living area that has seasonal mountain views of Yonah mountain and long range mountain views. Covered parking that leads into the basement, which has a washer and dryer, pool table, foosball table,TV, games for the kids and downstairs bedroom with bunkbeds.

My kids and I stayed in this cabin during our trip to Helen, GA. We brought along my father and our two dogs. The property was very clean and we really enjoyed the extra amenities like the hot tub and pool table. The property had a nice sized yard, which was perfect for walking the dogs. We also liked the upstairs patio deck. It was a quick 10 min drive in to downtown Helen. The only thing that would have been nice is a toilet on the basement level. Whoever is sleeping down there has to go upstairs to use the bathroom, which is a little hard to navigate during the night. This was not a deal breaker though and we would definitely rent this cabin again!

We had a wonderful time we did have a little episode with the hot tub with the two steps that come down my mom fell broke her shoulder we ended up in the hospital for the night the first night we were there so maybe put stuff down on it or something because it's the same color so you really don't see it if it's dusk or anything or some kind of tape some other color tape across so people know that the steps coming down off the hot tub eara.but other than that we totally enjoyed ourselves though we really enjoyed your property a lot of fun playing pool going in the hot tub playing foosball very comfortable love the decorations the beds were very comfortable.the kitchen had everything you possibly need for cooking.we would love to visit again .

This house was great for our weekend getaway with our adult children. We enjoyeyed the pool table, the hot tub and just sitting out in the backyard. The house had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. It was a short drive into Helen where we went for lunch one day. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful property and very well appointed. Close to necessities (forgot dog food). We spent a lot of time playing pool and in the hot tub. If your canine or humans have hip or knee issues, it might be a bit steep

The cabin is very cozy and comfortable. There are a lot of stairs, though, so not accessible for handicapped or easy for old folks! Plenty of things for kids to play on outside. Great location to visit surrounding villages. Owner needs to construct a quarter bath (toilet and sink) downstairs. All other amenities were available.

My son & I had a wonderful stay here en route to see family for Thanksgiving. The home is immaculate, with comfy beds and a great kitchen. The hot tub was a welcome treat after hiking, and Helen is just minutes away. The Foosball table is the nicest I've seen, though my son still beat me. (But I got him at pool....) Great family memories made. Thanks for that!

We had a great time! The location is perfect. It is about 10 mins from Helen. There are neighbors close by but it still feels isolated. The basement/game room was so much fun. We really enjoyed playing pool and spending time together. The hot tub is located in a sun room. My family really enjoyed it, especially on the cooler nights. My favorite areas was the nook in the dinning area. I sat there to read and watch the birds. I was happy to see that it was decorated in a bear theme. I love bears!!!! The place was very clean and had all of the necessities that we needed. We also enjoyed spending time on the deck. We did not use the fire pit but it was a really nice area. I loved the lighted path! I really enjoyed that there were so many places for you to sit and hang out with family. I highly recommend this property. You won’t be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is clean, the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, and they have TP / paper towels to get you started on your trip in case you can’t make it to the store right away. Loved the hot tub and pool table downstairs. Very convenient location to Helen and several waterfalls in the area. We are looking to book again next year - so highly recommend staying here!

Getting there was easy, beautiful home, inside and out, very clean all the rooms, bedrooms was made up too cute with black bears everywhere, the sun room had a big hot tub was clean with a beautiful setting area, the pool table down stairs was great had room to play, the outside had room to walk around with a cute fire pit, the owners are very nice, I enjoyed the stay so much I added a game to the game collection in the closet! Definitely will be back and letting everyone know how great this vacation stay was! Thanks for allowing me and my family to visit your home!

The house was very comfortable and the 'bear' motif was in every room - pretty neat. Morning coffee on the deck was so peaceful, and the soothing spa in the evening after a hike was sooooo nice. Never got a chance to play games in the cellar because we were out and about so much. Very convenient to Helen, several of the waterfalls, and even a Walmart a few miles away in Cleveland. Mr. Geoff responded immediately to a question I had about the spa and confirmed all was just normal - very comforting to get a quick reply. Bearadise is really true.

The check in process was very easy. The property is well maintained in a great location that has the benefit of being secluded, yet close to local towns. The fire pit and hot tub are great amenities. The house has beautiful woodworking interior with the master bedroom overlooking the living area. The house was stocked with basic necessities. I would highly recommend this property.

The property is better than pictured. While there are neighbors around, you do still feel secluded. The cabin is very big and easily sleeps 6. There are TVs in two of the 3 bedrooms (one bedroom is the loft but it feels private) , the living room and downstairs which also has pool and foosball. The master bathroom shower is great. Both bathrooms had great water pressure. The cabin was the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed at and we’ve stayed at a lot along the Appalachian mountains. The beds are super comfortable. The hot tub being in the sun room is perfect and the yard is great for pets and kids. Our son (9) and dog, who turned 1 during our stay, absolutely loved it. They also have lights in the sunroom and outside around the patio and up the walkway to the fire pit at night. It is such a great cabin and the attention to detail is on point. You are also 10 minutes from Helen, and Cleveland and less than 30 minutes to so many amazing trails to hike, waterfalls, beaches to swim at and towns to explore. I could go on and on. We had an amazing time and highly recommended this cabin. The owners are amazing and easy to work with.

Amazing cabin, great location. Close to hiking and wineries. Had a personal chef come in to cook and the cabin had everything he needed. Beautiful sun room w/ hot tub. Downstairs would be an amazing place if you had two couples....but we still used it. WILL be coming back to this place.

We had a great time at this cabin. It was very cozy and comfortable. The cabin was well stocked with everything that we needed. We loved the deck and the enclosed patio. My only concerns would be to update the info on the website. The wi-fi info was incorrect as well as the the tv info. The appliances need some attention. The gas burners were very fickle and we had a couple big flames a few times and we also had a hard time with the dishwasher. We had to ad water to get it started. Also, be very careful getting out of the hot tub. My husband slipped on the tile and hit his head on the step, I would suggest using get a grip or some kind of texture on the tile so that no one gets seriously hurt. Other than that scare it was a very relaxing and well needed getaway.

My husband and I stayed at this cabin while attending a wedding at Yonah Mountain Vineyards. It was the perfect location, just 5 minutes from the venue. The pictures do not do this cabin justice. It has beautiful views and seems very secluded even though it’s 10 min. from Helen. I loved that it is pet friendly and our dogs loved being outdoors. We only used the main floor. But the upstairs loft is beautiful and has an amazing shower. The screened in porch is lovely and I wish we’d had the time to use the hot tub. I would definitely come back.

My mother, boyfriend and I drove up from florida to visit a close friend who just had a baby. The lock box instructions should be re-worded a little better. It took us a few minutes but we figured out how to get the lock open ( on the door itself ) and made it in! The kitchen was stocked with almost everything we needed ! The living room is spacious for a cabin. We really enjoyed the front and back porch ! We loved the set up and lights out back. However, the trash cans were so full we could barely fit our own stuff in them. The ashtrays were full of cigarette butts. ( we don’t smoke ) we were also disappointed to see there was no bunk beds, as pictured in the listing. We were counting on those for naps for the kids while they came and saw us for a day. Actually that’s one of the main reasons I picked this house. Location and bed space. The front right burner on stove doesn’t work. The sunroom windows were a PAIN to open, We were worried we’d break them more. Also it was SOOOO hot back there. The master room is also a loft, which werent shown in photos. We made it work but i could see that Being difficult for a bigger family. The drive to Helen is short and sweet if your looking for something close. The owners have a book of local attractions/ restaurants/ hospitals. Loved that. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. If you fixed the things people recommended, it would be that much more amazing !
