Żenada

Hostel mieści się w piwnicy remontowanego domu. Poprzedni goście gotowali mleko w czajniku, a personel nawet nie zadał sobie trudu, żeby wyczyścić urządzenie. Zapach spalonego mleka unosił się w pokoju kiedy się do niego weszło. Brzydki zapach w łazience i nie mam na myśli zapachu siarki. Brak jasnych wiadomości od personelu, który pokój mam zająć (z przekazanych informacji wynikało, że miał to być pokój nr 1-w obiekcie numery zaczynały się od 101..) Kiedy chciałam skorzystać z pralni, we wszystkich urządzeniach były pościele i nikt nie raczył ich opróżnić.

Ubytování bych doporučil. Dobrý poměr cena a výkon. Jen pro přespání postačí, ale na příjemné trávení času na pokoji to

Skvělá komunikace. Dobré jako basecamp pro cesty do okolí.

Je to spíš sklep. V rychlovarné konvici někdo vařil ramen - nebyla čistá. Větrák se nikdy nevypl a celou dobu hučel.

bon hébergement mais seulement 7 à cause de la propreté et de la literie

la taille de l'hébergement et les équipements. le plus la possibilité de laver le linge et le sécher avec même la lessive à disposition la situation géographique

le logement était sale, en voulant récupérer un objet tombé sous le lit nous avons découvert une certaine épaisseur de poussière, l'aspirateur n'avait pas du être passé depuis un certain temps une odeur très désagréable dans la salle de bain des lits qui grincent

Дуже затишне атмосферне житло близько від океану

Помешкання суперове, в цокольному приміщенні, але при цьому дуже тепле і затишне. З пошуком ключів також проблем не виникло. Сам будинок розташований поруч з живописним пляжем, тож можна випити ранкову каву з виглядом на океан. Окремо хочеться подякувати господарю, який допоміг нам з забиранням забутих нами речей) Одне з тих місць, куди справді хочеться повертатись!

Можливо, хотілося б скляний посуд замість одноразового, але загалом все ок

IDEAL para ver el sur de la isla en pocos días

La habitación no es muy grande, pero tiene lo necesario para hacer desayunos y algo de cena pre-cocinada. Dejan café de sobras para pasar la estancia (Senseo) y en el pasillo sal, azúcar, vasos y platos de papel y cubiertos de madera. Está todo limpio y en buenas condiciones y las camas son cómodas (incluso el sofá). La ubicación es perfecta si vas pocos días y quieres visitar el sur de la isla: a menos de una hora de Reikjavik y círculo dorado; un par de horas a Vík i Myrdal... lo mas lejano sería el glacial Jokusarlon y playa de diamantes (4h), pero el camino es impresionante y vale la pena hacerlo aunque sea en un mismo día. En el mismo pueblo puedes ver auroras boreales si se dan las condiciones óptimas, aunque si te mueves a las afueras, en menos de dos km no hay contaminación lumínica y puedes verlas en todo su esplendor. El propietario es muy atento y se preocupa de que tu estancia sea cómoda y sin contratiempos. Está claro que no es un hotelazo, pero en relación calidad-precio es de 10!

Ya se menciona en otros comentarios, el olor en el baño a azufre... aunque es soportable y no es olor a cloaca. Es por el uso del agua caliente natural.

Decepción en el viaje

Los dueños contactaron en varias ocasiones, pero eran tantos los aspectos a mejorar y el enfado que decidimos hablar con ellos una vez encontramos otro alojamiento para la segunda noche, ya que no se iba a resolver en un día y no queríamos sacrificar más tiempo de nuestro viaje.

Llegamos de noche y lo primero que notamos al entrar fue un fuerte olor a humedad. Ya en la habitación, el calor era asfixiante. Habían dejado la calefacción dada y un ventilador encendido para mover el aire. Más tarde fuimos viendo más inconvenientes: suciedad, poco mantenimiento, ruidos... daba sensación de dejadez. Casi no pude dormir porque la colcha emitía tal electricidad estática que salían chispas en la oscuridad. Después de muchos meses de preparativos en un viaje ilusionante, supuso una gran decepción.

In the basement, found very stuffy but ok if left window fully open. Microwave only. Communication was ok until the day when a note was pasted on the door saying rooms wouldn't be ready until 18.00. Would have been nice to have had an email stating lateness of room.

It was imperfectly fine

Shower was good toilet was unusual shape and the facilities to make or heat food.

the lights above the bed need to be each side not so you can hit your head on. no instructions on how to work the tv. noise from the fan in the bathroom. the place seemed a little unfinished but useable

The location is very sweet and very quiet, just what I was looking for. It was incredibly easy to follow the instructions to get into the house and room.

The WiFi was pretty slow and the room was not as clean as other reviewers had stated.

Exceptional

Located on the coast in a quaint little village. Our guestroom had everything available to us to prepare our dinner and breakfast in our room. They also had a laundry room we could have used. It was a nice place to stay.

Peace and quiet

Excellent!

Great place to stay in Iceland. Very clean, comfortable and good value of money. We really enjoy the warm water in the property, feel like having spa at home. The host is super kind and helpful.

Room is pretty Clean.

NO shared kitchen at all as a guess house. Bit shocking. So if u want to cook urself this is not the choice. Still in construction upstairs. The WiFi name given in the instructions was wrong.

Very good

The location was good for daytrips to various destinations, such as the highlands (we took the highland bus from Hella and Hvolsvöllur) and other places in the south/south-west. The room itself had a fridge, water boiler, tea/coffee. We didn't use the kitchen, which was accessible to all guests. The owner messaged us if everything was ok and had great tips about the area and what to be careful with etc. Very nice contact!

The entrance gives a bit of a weird first impressions, as the rooms are souterrain rooms. That can't be changed of course, but the entrance would look much nicer, if the area around the door would look a bit more inviting.
