The food was good but overpriced.

Breakfast was great. Location was quiet, was lovely not to hear traffic. Friendly staff.
Shower head in need of replacing, a small detail that makes a big difference. We could hear the guests in the neighbouring room 😬

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This is a charmingly quirky and characterful place, especially the restaurant, lounge and bar. I will definitely be returning there.
Parking was on street - but its a quiet road so that wasn't an issue.

Great hotel with quirky finishes. Good food.
The drunken people in the rooms opposite making noise till the early hours and pretty much no acoustic insulation to our room.

The actual hotel was lovely
The staff were friendly and accommodating
My room was at the backend with some kind of pathway- busy with people talk/smoking and lots disturbances.

Food was amazing. Location excellent. The hotels decor unique and fascinating. Enjoyable in every aspect
Bed was a little too firm but that’s personal to each individual.

It was a lovely quirky hotel, and the staff are lovely.
Our room was decorated nicely, but it was situated at the back of the hotel, with some sort of shed/ storage facility right outside the window, you couldn't keep window open with the blinds up, as staff could see right in, and it was noisy till about 11pm and started again by about 7 in the morning, the corridor outside the room was also noisy because other guests used as a rat run to get to other parts of the hotel, for anyone staying I would only recommend upper floor hotel rooms, which have quite a price tag. Breakfast was also a bit haphazard on the Sunday morning, had to eventually ask to order our breakfast, we sat for quite sometime waiting, but it was lovely when we eventually got it. Liked the hotel but maybe would consider somewhere different to stay next time.

The decor was bizarre and the lighting in the restaurant dark.

Disappointed with the Dinner, poor value, not the same , as on previous visits.

Absolutely love the decor and quirkyness the restaurant was the best I’ve ever dined in
Wouldn’t say that I didn’t like anything i just thought our room would have been just a bit more bigger for what I paid

quirky
a little attention to detail needed. paper in the garden cobweb in the suit no shower/booth instructions.

Location. Friendly restaurant and bar staff.
A cup that was stacked under the other was dirty. Unnecessary chairs and a table took up too much room. Served no useful function. A very, very standard room, nothing special about it for £195. Totally overpriced. Cluttered areas too much furniture and over the top decor. Sorry.

The bedroom was exceptional. Every thing to hand large bed, bathroom had a shower cubicle and bath. Fluffy white towels. Only one down side in room was the view from the window was roof tiles.
Breakfast had hot and cold choices.
Had dinner in one night large choice we both had steak cooked to perfection.
Staff and facilities were excellant.
Staff from reception to bar and restaurant were excellant. Very knowledgeable of all facilities
The bedroom view from window was a slate roof. Would have liked a better view. As far we could see the hotel was not full.
