Pam, the owner, was welcoming and very pleasant. I was shown round on arrival and briefed thoroughly. The self-contained room has everything needed for a working stay. It is nice, quiet and private. Due to work, I travel up and down the country and stay away regularly. Therefore, I rate this the top accommodation where I've stayed.

Very comfortable, spacious, private apartment, with everything I needed. Very good shower. Lovely garden outlook. Friendly, helpful host. Parking on site.
Adding a mattress protector (or similar) would cover up the join in the middle of the bed, which was a bit noticeable and hard on my back.

It was clean and the host was very friendly.
It was incredibly small.

It was quiet
There are two units at this site and the photos on the web site confusingly combine images of both. I had expected to be staying in the larger unit. However I ended up in the “ Wrens Nest” (a clue in the name?) rather than the “Lily Pad” from where I had received all emails. The unit consisted of a very small room with rather tired looking decor and furnishings. The bathroom was tiny and dusty and, in the kitchen area, a toaster, George Foreman grill and combi microwave to prepare a meal with but without any saucepans or dishes provided to cook with. Rather too much furniture in the room and too many drawer units. The only place to sit and eat a meal was on a stool at a desk. The small arm chair provided was just in the way. Not somewhere for an extended stay.

Value for money very good, room was small but you had everything you needed. Wi-fi was VERY good.
Had a couple of issues getting the keys but this was dealt with exceptionally well by Pam's mother, this absolute star of a 92 year old lady managed to find a spare set of keys and even directed me to reverse park on the property.
Pam is a very gracious host and couldn't so enough for you.

The accommodation was larger than expected and very comfortable. Everything you need for a break away including good WiFi.
Ideal location for exploring the cotswolds.
The shower had low water pressure but this is the only minor annoyance.

Pam is a wonderful host, the apartment is impeccable and has everything you may need (iron, hairdryer, fully-equipped kitchen, Netflix, WiFi, etc.). Nice and quiet location and the apartment is very charming!

How close it was to work
When booking I didnt realise there was two separate places the place I was in was tiny it was dusty and the smell of damp from the bathroom was unreal. The cutlery was all dirty and made me feel really uncomfortable. My stay was for 2 nights I left after one.

A very quiet neighborhood, private free parking in front of house.
Wi-Fi was not work and the cellphone signal coverage was terrible in this area, so literary no internet.

The self sufficiency and off road parking
Maybe could do with a lower table next to the bed (I know it's a desk but I only needed a bedside table)

A relaxing time. This is our second visit. Will go again if planning to be in the area.
Some more instructions for recycling would be helpful. We bought all we can recycle back home and put the greens into the compost bin. This is not an issue for us.
4.5
Spacious with everything you need for a lovely mini-break or if you are away with work. Really good kitchen facilities - it's a real home from home. I didn't use the outside area but I am sure that would be great in warmer weather or for smokers. It's also so quiet - excellent.

everything was spot on, parking, size of property, the owner even left me some milk to get me started. the village comes out onto a round about for Sainsburys and the duel carriageway junction, all very convenient.
nothing to report
