Pleasant area. Quiet. Relaxing and good for walking and bicycling
Maybe the restaurant should be open more often

Staff were friendly and obliging
A charge of 14.40 euros was made after the booking which was not made clear at the time.
After complaining, it was refunded so I was happy. This is the first time I have come across this.

Good clean room and comfortable bed. Location on the via verde suited us.
We ate at the restaurant and couldn't recommend it. The hamburger was undercooked and the chicken burger meat hardly cooked at all, barely thawed.

Very clean with lovely towels, toiletries etc. At this time of year it can be cold but the room was lovely and warm and welcoming. Fantastic location in an old railway station with beautiful views, right on the via verde, which is an old railway line now used for cycling and walking. A good walk uphill into the village. Helpful staff and owner who arranged a bike for me to enjoy the Vulture colony nearby. Easy parking onsite and easy to find as it's not in the centre of town.

great location and friendly stuff, room was very clean
there was no hair dryer available

Wonderful place - seems a little out of the way, but only 15 minute walk to town. The pool was lovely after a day a biking. The hotel is very pretty, and the staff go above and beyond. Would love to stay here again.
Nothing - it was all wonderful. Maybe too quiet for some people (not us). Also maybe a lot busier if you go and it'a not July/August when it was pretty hot.

fantastic location in old railway station at the start of an incredible bicycle trail. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good value for money.
cleanliness of the room could be better.

location. rooms was clean and spacious.
we didn’t have hot water until the last day. despite us explaining after first day , it took until the final day to get hot water. the showers were not good either and had to disconnect the shower heads to get water out!

Everything was wonderful. Staff could not have been kinder.
Upgraded us to an apartment for no extra cost as they were having a bit of trouble with the hot water in our room.
Breakfast was great for such a small price.
There is nothing that could have been better.
Idyllic place to stay.
Unfortunately we were there when it was the hottest it had ever been at that time of May, so put pay too walking too far
WE WILL RETURN

Pleasant staff. Very handy ( right next to) the cycle path to Puerto Serrano.
It's a fair distance out of town. It's okay if you have a car but steep hills if you are walking.
8.0
The location it is on the via Verde.
Comfortable beds. Good cafe on site for breakfast and snacks.
Staff very good
It was only on the 1st night we could hear a dog barking . We told the manager and it was stopped so was not a problem again

Well located at the start of the Via Verde. Bike rental is right outside the hotel and parking is onsite. Staff is friendly and the entry is keyless (by code).
The hotel is up/down a very steep hill to the rest of Olvera, you will need to scale it frequently if you are staying for several days. Unfortunately when we were there, there was a problem with the sewage system, so there was a fairly bad smell (inside&outside) and what's worse, there was constant construction work, with accompanying noise, going on to fix it. Also the owner was installing a playground behind the hotel, with the accompanying noise, people were harversting olives with machinery, and there was a military drill to boot! This was probably just bad luck for us. The rooms also aren't well ventilated, and the location can feel a bit deserted at night if you're there in the off season. We felt like we were the only ones there in the middle of the darkness at night, as there is also no staff present at night. The bed covers weren't the cleanest.

There was no breakfast available. Location was okay but circumstances meant we had nowhere to go except on foot in the rain.
The most important things were - we were not aware that the restaurant closed at 4pm, the bar closed between 6pm and 7pm and there was no breakfast on offer for the following day! We felt therefore we ought to eat at 3pm. Then the rain began and we could not go out. Every part of the hotel after 7pm was locked up. We did not have anywhere to sit apart from the bed. If we had needed a/c there was no remote. The triple room boasted bidet, sofa, hairdryer, and sofa bed - none of which were present. Didn't seem much point in phoning anyone up to complain - we couldn't wait to leave anyway!!

Great location for via Verde, food was good for what we needed, restaurant and bar close at 5.00pm, so buy your wine before, would recommend for via Verde, as everything in olvera would be up a huge hill, and too much effort after your bike ride
All was fine, would be nice for bar to be open Untill at least 8.00pm, but being October totally understand

Close to via verde
On the day we arrived all personnel left at 5pm. Bar and restaurant closed and no service whatsoever.
On the 2nd day someone appeared to serve very limited breakfast.
Dirty and outdated rooms.
No maid service either so rooms were not cleaned or towels changed the whole time we were there.
At least we could have been told beforehand and we would have made other arrangements.

Everything...clean, simply furnished and really well done. Restaurant food was delicious and very good value. Would definitely stay there again.
Obviously the hotel was at the Via Verde but l think it needs more visible signs and directions from the town centre.

The location for the ruta via verde was absolutely perfect especially as we got caught up in a terrible storm. We arrived back very dirty, cold and wet so we didn't have to get into our car and drive anywhere. Even though the restaurant was closing up, they very kindly made us hot drinks. Every thing was fabulous. We did hear other guests coming and going, but once every one went to bed it was so quiet. With only 9 rooms there wasn't too much movement.
We will definitely stay there again when we are ready to continue the next stage.of the route. BONUS. You get discounts on bike hire if you stay in the hotel. Every one was so friendly and helpful. I even managed a swim in the lovely saltwater pool. Oh yes, the breakfast was delicious too.
The only improvement would be a shelf in the bathroom in the room we were in.

The hotel is on the Via Verde road, actually is the end/start of the Via. You can rent bikes just beside the hotel from 9-17h. If you're planning to walk or bike down the Via Verde, the hotel it's the best choice. There's no lift, the room was not actually very clean, and the bathroom was not remarkable... The bedroom is simple and small, but very nice. Breakfast is only 2,5€ per person. The guys running the hotel speak a really poor English, but we managed to understand each other.

Amazing location, great swimming pool, very good restaurant - excellent food, lovely personnel. Hotel breakfast has a good price and great coffee. Lunch was also superb (croquetas, ensaladas, gambas - all fresh and tasty). The waitress is probably the nicest person in the world :-). Bike rental open 9 am - 5 pm. Via Verde spectacular. Olvera itself is a charming town as well, with stunning panoramic views from the castle/church.
Room floor should be cleaned better.

Nice old rail way station converted into a simple friendly hotel. Mind you: this is good value for money where you can have a lovely dinner in the ground floor restaurant. It is small scale and during the day there is limited availability of staff. That is okay if you consider the price. When we were there, we were the only guests so breakfast is in the co-owned restaurant down town which is a short walk. That might be inconvenient for some, but given the price this is perfectly understandable.

Location, fabulous. We went for the Via Verde and the Hotel is next to it plus convenient bike hire. Due to the recent COVID restrictions the whole place was very quiet, we were the only guests at the Hotel.
A bed side lamp.

Spectacular location, very clean, super friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant on premises, easy parking. You can rent bikes for a bike tour on the Vía Verde.
