Great breakfast - very comfortable rooms

Lovely room and ensuite, both of which were exceptionally big and nicely furnished. The pub/restaurant side of the facilities also nicely done.
Nothing.

The full English breakfasts were delicious. Served piping hot (how we like our food served), and good quality produce.
We both found our bathrooms to have a mild, slightly damp smell.

The bath was amazing, the bed comfortable however very low
The photograph gives an expectation that the hotel is in its own grounds when in reality is in the centre of the town, next to a busy road and actually rooms over a pub and not a hotel. The staff were very standoffish and not very helpful at all. The breakfast very poor with the advertised continental breakfast consisting of packets of cereals, a croissant or pain au chocolate. this is as far removed from a continental breakfast as it gets. Asked the waitress for sliced toast with normal bread not the sourdough that was offered and she didn’t understand, after a few attempts to explain I settled for what was offered.

proximity to a wedding venue. breakfast was incredible
during the night, the bar works as pub for the town. lots of people is drunk. our room
floor was uneven and lack of divider in our shower made the entire bathroom wet
4.0
comfortable bed and plenty of room
odd bathroom- divided by curtain from bedroom

Room was lovely and staff were very helpful and friendly.
Room was too warm, we couldn't turn off the heating and we were worried to open the window at first because we had emergency exit stairs right under the window.
Also they ran out of some dishes we tried to order.

Decor is good
It’s not well maintained, the service is friendly but seems disorganised and slow

The room was very clean and tidy.
The breakfast took a very long time to come out.
we had the most amazing bath in our room but the tap didn’t work on the bath. We had to fill it up using a small shower head which was very disappointing

The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The bathroom was very nice although due to no hot water didn't get a chance to use it
No staff on reception, fire alarm, no cups, no soap, no shower gel, no hot water, locked out of room due to fail secure system that staff did not know how to correct but worse no apologies

Wood burner was a nice touch location great.
Weird smell in the room. Bar prices very expensive.

We loved Everything, the service the facilities and the room. Couldn't fault anything, we are already in talks of returning. The restaurant was fantastic and accommodating to my requirements. It's such a beautiful little gem.
3.5
Lovely clean rooms and nice quirky decor, comfortable bed.
Food was very overpriced and lacking in any quality. Waiting times to be served was also extremely poor. One morning we ordered toast only which took over 20 minutes to come out. Huge shortage of staff.
