Friendly staff. Good location for our need easy to get to
Looks a little tired. But that’s reflected in the value for money
3.5
Staff and breakfast
Location right for us
Shower room to small. Ash trays full in court yard not good for first impression
3.5
Very clean everywhere
Fabulous food
Staff very helpful
3.5
Simple, no fuss, clean, warm and a comfy bed.
Bathroom was a little small, nowhere to put you toiletry bag but the floor but for one night, it truly didn’t mater
3.5
Great location and very large car park. Staff were friendly.
Breakfast was ok the first morning but on our second day it was cold.
Bed was very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in the mattress and when I sat on the bed the mattress compressed so much that I hit my bottom on the bed base!
Decor tired and radiator in the bathroom was rusty.
The door had a huge gap between the door and the frame. It was ok as it was warm but would have let in a huge draft if it had been cold as it was a door directly to outside. The door was loose and you could shake it when it was locked.
Definitely over priced for what we got.
3.5
Close to family, comfy bed and great breakfast
Freezing bathroom - towel rail not working and only 1 towel! There were 2 of us. Would have asked for help but we arrived back at 9pm and bar was closed and no one around
3.5
Entrance was easy
No heating, shows leaky pipe, no tv signal, FREEZING, courtyard dark, unlit car park, bushes next to doors and window, curtains not blackout
3.5
The staff were friendly, location was perfect for our needs, the breakfast and evening meal we had were very good.
I understand why but there was too much noise from staff children running around for our liking, the rooms were ok but nothing special (shower trays were cheap/flimsy).
3.5
It was an ideal location for wedding we attended.breakfast was good. Staff accommodating and helpful.
Room small, bathroom very small. Shower just produced a trickle and bedside light not working.
3.5
Family room was good value for money. The staff we absolutely lovely.
Deep fried sausage, mushrooms and hash brown for breakfast. Bacon and eggs were nice though.

Although the location is in the middle of nowhere, it is ideal for RAF Duxford. Big carpark. Friendly helpful staff. Nice shower, easy to work.
The room was small, the bathroom was extremely small and the washbasin and shelf above it are too close together - kept bumping my head. Needed net curtains or blinds. A small chair would be much better than the stool. Bed a bit small - probably a standard double and the mattress was a bit soft for my liking. Menu was very American. Fruit and brown bread should have been offered for breakfast.

Breakfast was fine although a choice of brown or white bread would have been nice, The beds were comfy and we liked the fact that all the chalets were named after aircraft!!. The gardens were nice too.
The bathroom was very narrow and there was not much space to dry our towels which did not automatically get changed and when I asked about it I was told that they only got changed every other day but I was given one replacement on request. We also arrived early and despite our room being ready we were told it would be an additional £10 so we went for a walk.

Beds were comfortable.
The staff weren't particularly helpful when we arrived. We had to ask for another towel as there was only one in the room. The bathroom was dirty, mould in the shower, the toilet leaked and the facilities were basically inadequate.
3.5
Plenty of towels
Staff was very friendly and breakfast was awesome
The shower was beyond pitiful. Three rooms our group had and each one had a shower that dribbled. I am not joking. Less than a dribble.
Beds are super super soft and noisy springs.
Very noisy courtyard at night.
Shower head didn’t stay up. Support bar for head pulled right out of its base
Kettle barely fit in the sink to fill. You had to squeeze it in
With a bit of work it would greatly improve

Food was nice 🙂
We were sat at the wrong table for breakfast which we didn't realise and a member of staff was quite rude about it telling us to move.
I found that quite upsetting but apart from that the other staff were absolutely fantastic 😊
Room was also really small but was ok
3.5
Staff were extremely helpful and did anything to help
The walls and floors boards were extremely thin, found the bed a bit to hard as well
3.5
Breakfast was great , Staff were extremally friendly and made you welcome and there was a very inviting atmosphere
Nothing - fully enjoyed my stay

Lovely place to stay. Nice location and friendly staff. We had trouble with our car and a member of the staff went out of her way to help us get the car fixed. Already planning on visiting again. Would highly recommend. The imperial war museum at Duxford, which is a few miles away, was outstanding.

The location was good. Towels were good
The breakfast was rushed, sausages poor, place setting not complete. Bed was small.
Welcome was reserved. We questioned a drink and were told that '20 other people had supposably had the same drink and none of them had complained' and the attitude was dismissive
Bar area was not comfortable

Breakfast was good
Our room was quite noisy from guests upstairs walking around and could hear plumbing when they flushed the toilet or used shower or sink.
Hallway area that leads into rooms noisy when guests enter or leave rooms.

Room was a good size,, handy for the bar and restaurant, easy parking and ideal for where we were heading.
No problems at all, good one night stay.

Room was. accessible from the courtyard without going through the house. Staff were pleasant & helpful.
The floorboards of the room above creaked very loudly and woke me in the morning. Sound proofing in the block was poor.

Super clean and helpful lady cleaning and giving us a taxi number. Breakfast was very good and service as well.
The bed was terrible - much smaller than a double bed.
3.5
Location was perfect for our needs. Food was good and breakfast was good too.
Just feels a little tired.
3.5
The phone being put down when asking when the party was ending. Leaving before included breakfast.
Loud party music / noise until 12:30am. Rooms located in the courtyard at the back of pub. Kids playing until 1am outside your window. No notice or warning and only told after paying at check in of a party event. Don't sell rooms - it's wrong.
3.5
The staff were really lovely and the breakfast was good
The bed was like sleeping on a wood pallet, 1 small window had no curtain and the main window curtains were not black out
3.5
Excellent breakfast, great location for Duxford air museum.

Friendly accommodating staff.

Location was good and we were not overlooked.
The shower had a good amount of pressure behind it
Parking was plentiful
Welcome could have been a bit friendlier, appeared quite brusque.
Were not told breakfast times, so it was guess work.
The shower tray creaked and flexed when you stood in it
The vanity light didn't work in the bathroom
There were cobwebs between the top of the curtains and the wall
No wifi in the bedrooms
extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom
High chair blocking fire exit
No menu given for breakfast
