A perfect getaway with a super comfortable bed and environment for a total relaxation!

The location was excellent, close to everything important. Though not so much walking distance, but we travelled with a rental car. The owner met us when we arrived and gave us the tour of the place and also gave very good tips about where to eat. The bed was heavenly, the best I have experienced in a hotel/hostel/BnB. The room had all the necessities, the view to the back forest. Even though the place is in suburban area, the yard was so private and nice we were sad to only have stayed one night. The breakfast was so amazing and good! I have nothing bad to say about this place.

I have to underline that this was something that DIDN´T bother us at all but might be a deal breaker for someone. And also saying this, I have no idea what type of rooms the others were. But the bathroom was right next to the bed without any door, just a curtain between the two "rooms". What was a cozy, compact and convenient space for us with a bathroonm and a shower right next to it, might be weird for maybe newly met couple ;) For us married couple, we didn´t mind listening to each others toilet sounds. :D

Gemütliches Gasthaus

Sehr nette Gastgeber die einen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stellen. Das Zimmer ist gemütlich und schnuckelig eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und lecker. Bei gutem Wetter lädt der Garten mit Pool zum verweilen ein.

A great hidden little gem in Somerset West

The property is an oasis for any nature lover. My room had everything I needed for a short stay. The hostess was so lovely and accommodating from start to finish. The entire experience was very pleasant and I’m sure to stay here again next time I’m in the area!

The property is near a road which has quite a bit of traffic after hours, this may disturb light sleepers

Perfect little spot

Beautiful cottage. We were made to feel right at home. All creature comforts including electric blanket for the chilly evening. Very spoilt with a delicious breakfast in the morning. Excellent value for money

The tranquility. Excellent WiFi. Breakfast is divine. The bedding, towels, face cloths, shower gel, shampoo..... . The room has a fridge and tea/coffee facilities.

Guests with mobility issues should request the downstairs room "Rosemary".

The b&b is located in a nice and quiet area in somerset west. Close to the malls, shops and restaurants. Rooms are nice and cosy. Top of the bill at this b&B is the breakfast, which is more than anyone could ask for. It's a very nice place to start your visit to the somerset west/stellenbosch area from.

Pleasant stay at reasonable price!

Friendly host and warm environment. Beautiful verandah with braai facilities. The breakfast on the first morning was excellent. The host prepared us some takeaway breakfasts for our early departure to Gauteng. Very kind gesture of the host!

There are three guestrooms, and parking space provides 2+2 vehicles, which means one car is in front and can't get out freely. However, it was dealt with professionally and friendly.

Extraordinary stay

Really good breakfast, with fresh fruits. Pool is small, but very clean. The room has enough of space. Aircon is working great. A lot of hooks to hang your stuff.

No restaurants nearby. Only minimal load shedding measures.
