The location was perfect and the area is safe. The host is very friendly and helpful.
The place is clean and comfortable. My family enjoyed it thoroughly. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV was an added bonus. Private bathrooms in all bedrooms. The pool is well kept along with the entertainment area. Neil even provided a kennel for our 3-month-old pup. We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend there.
I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
I have no dislikes.

I liked that each room had its own bathroom and Neil was always available when you need him.
They can do better in the lounge those Sofas couldn't sit all 8 of us. Pots didn't have lids, no wine glasses.

I really like the pool, the bath in main bedroom and the fact that each room has their own ablution facilities. I absolutely love the spacious environment. I appreciate the fact that we were not disturbed throughout our stay. I appreciate the cleaning materials, mop, broom and toilet rolls left for us. I appreciate the wifi and DStv. I appreciated the safe environment. The owner told us the environment is quiet safe and he was right. Our car stood outside and was untouched.
I did not appreciate the fact that i was asked on my holiday to be pls be quiet as theres a pregnant woman living next door. We are not a rowdy bunch and i didn't need to be told to be quiet. This put a damper on our stay as when my children laughed or played music we had to tell them to keep it down as noise was not allowed (how crazy is that). It was a very real awkward experience. The microwave had cockroaches. On our last day i wanted to make us an English breakfast with toast but the toaster didn't work... The tv in one of the rooms wasn't working there's no washing machine and the house is in desperate need of tlc as there's some broken plugs and damage to the wall in kitchen. The plants in the yard are dying and needs tending. The owner didn't leave me feeling relaxed upon arrival as he referred one time too many times about the fact that i was coloured that i landed up wondering what was wrong with me and it made me feel awkward.

Kitchen and cutlery needs attention - all very well having 8 of everything but one needs to double that as plates/cutlery often in dishwasher and so 8 of everything not enough otherwise pool great, host very accommodating and a wonderful time had by all

Decent wifi connection and pool was clean.
each room has own bathroom.
This house is very basic with a dump of the owners junk on the side of the house which is very untidy.
Pictures show the whole house, but you don’t have access to the balcony, because someone lives in the front section.
Wish that was stated previously as we wouldn’t have booked as we have kids in the house and we’re not comfortable sharing the property with a stranger. This person shared the same entrance as us and we had to close the sliding doors and we didn’t feel entirely free.
The sliding doors also don’t lock, so you always have to shut the trellis doors to feel a bit more safe.
The workmanship in the house is very poor The curtain railings and shelving were not secure. Curtain railing fell in our childrens rooms. Then shelving fell in main bedroom and 1st room. This is not safe at all.
There is no soap, shower gel etc.The owner Neil, said that they use to throw away the soaps and things. So they just stopped providing it and said it was mentioned on the website but it wasn’t. It also states that there is hand sanitizer on booking.com but there is none.
For a place that you pay just over 2k per night you expect the following:
1. Hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner
2. A toothpaste Holder
3. Better pillows and bed linen
4. Secured cupboards shelving and curtain railing.
5. Complimentary coffee, tea and sugar
6. Have the entire place, or at least inform guests that you don’t get the entire house and you share a portion of the house with a stranger.
7. Inform people that there is a business running in the garage.
8. To inform guest that there is no secure parking. You have to park outside on the drive way.
9. To inform guests that there is no washing machine! Not ideal for long stays because there’s no place to wash your clothes.
10. The pool has a curfew from 21:00 - 09:00. Not fun for people on holiday.
11. Two bathrooms only had cold water running only.
12. Owner takes hours to respond to your queries.

We spent 3 weeks in Neil's place in July to visit family & friends in Capetown. Neil has been a very nice host. He was around when we arrived and made his possible to make our stay totally pleasant. We have hosted multiple braai around the swimming pool with family and friends during our stay and the place was just perfect for this. Incredible moments. The neighborhood is very safe, our kids and their friends could roam freely in the neighboring park and playground. They could even enjoy the swimming pool in July !
All 4 rooms have a nice & private bathroom with shower. Ideal for multiple families.
We had a weekly cleaning crew that made an incredible job even tough the place was occupied during their cleaning rounds. The place was spotless on arrival and after every cleaning round !
The living room sofa would deserve a replacement.
The living/dining room is not very big.

The location was perfect.
The furniture was completely worn out and not comfortable at all. The couch seemed broken under all the layers added to make it look like it’s in one piece and some of the appliances were not working. I booked this place a few years ago and it was in perfect condition. Then was so happy to see availability but was deeply disappointed.
