I didn't want to stay in a hotel while in Cambridge

I liked the feeling of living with people, not tourists, and the pub next door is excellent. It can scare some lonely travellers, dark and rainy nights to walk there. But, not me. I liked that.

I was expecting pink and funny flat (somehow from the photos I had that feeling), but it was kinda okay adult-blue small two floor flat. The heating system made me a bit nervous at first night, it was very loud when it was on. You have to turn it off, if you want to sleep. There were so many stickers all over the place to remind you things, those irritated me, and the "information book", please, how difficult it is to make it clean and functional? It is only paper. Small things in a small flat, which was okay for my first visit in Cambridge. The PUB next door could be a life-saver for someone: good food as well.

este apartamento es super limpio y ordenado, volveria a reservar en el.

lo malo es que el check out es a las 10:00am, muy pronto, y por otro lado la caldera suena toda la noche, es un ruidio muy suave y tenue pero algo molesto para dormir.

We had a lovely stay in this tiny house. I hope to visit again.

What a cute little house! It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. There were good places to eat nearby and a central but quiet location. The host was very helpful and communicative. She sent texts to check all was OK for us.

Finding somewhere to park took a few minutes.

Bijou beauty

We loved our stay at Angel's property. It's small but perfectly formed, very clean, and the kitchen has everything you'd want to cook a meal. The upstairs bedroom has plenty of space, the bed was comfortable, and although it's next door to a pub it's surprisingly quiet. You can tell the owners have thought carefully about what guests might need during their stay, and the property is beautifully appointed. They also gave recommendations for surrounding pubs/restaurants/activities which was very helpful. The bathroom is unique - a very cool use of space!

Very clean property a short walk from the city centre

The property was very clean and the instructions for arrival were easy to follow.

It would have been nice if some of the crockery, culinary and glassware matched - particularly the wine glasses. Also would have been good not to have various part-used bottles of shower gels, shampoos etc in the bathroom. I’m sure other people would have welcomed this but it just wasn’t for us.

Cute and comfortable in a convenient location.

This is a tiny property with a kitchen, bathroom and table squeezed in downstairs and a bed and sitting room area upstairs. The kitchen has everything you might need and the bed is super comfy. It is located in a very convenient area- close to the station and numerous restaurants and grocery stores around the corner. I enjoyed my stay.

If you have any sort of mobility issues, steer clear. The stairs to the upper floor are very narrow and steep and it requires some awkward maneuvering to get into the shower.

Lovely house. Check-in very easy. Very clean, comfortable, perfect size for 2. Pots, pans, cutlery, toaster available. Special thanks for the biscuits and tea. Silent, warm, great shower. Would return certainly.

Tiny but cleverly utilised. Everything needed was there. Location excellent for the train. Local pub next door lovely. Did not hear any noise at night. Great for walking into Cambridge. Jesus Green and the Lido nearby. Cosy little cottage. Mill Road has some good shops

Live like a Cambridge local in Angela's cozy cottage

We wanted to live like a local in Cambridge for a couple of days rather than stay in an hotel and we also wanted somewhere within walking distance of the train station. Angela's Place ticked all the boxes. It's cozy and cute and walking distance to the shops and old Cambridge as well. And we recommend the pub, The Petersfield, right next door. Good food, atmosphere and service.

We understand the bathroom configuration was to fit in a bath but it does mean that everything is extremely tight and it's quite hard to get in and out of the bath to have a shower.

Super cute for short stays

The property is an excellent location close to the train station Everything was incredibly clean and decor was super cute All the facilities you would need Bed was super comfortable Upstairs was super functional with a lovely spot for drinking coffee by the window

Lots of notes everywhere around the property. Whilst helpful would be better in the guidebook as they were just everywhere. Toilet and shower facilities are not suitably sized and claustrophobic. Nearly banged my head on a sharp cornered mirror getting up from the toilet. I understand there's not much the property owners can do about that but not suitable for people with disabilities. Kitchen breakfast corner whilst nice to look at was not comfortable, needs soft pillows or furnishings plus no leg room with the base of the table in the way

Good stay

Location, privacy and convenience of using a key safe. Overall, I was happy with our stay and would recommend it. The instructions given were very accurate, and we managed to park right out front. There's also a pub next door which was convenient for a quick drink. There's a well fitted kitchen for if you wanted to cook and plenty of menus provided if you wanted to order in.

There are a couple of suggestions for improvement. To improve the quality of sleep, black out curtains and thicker pillows would be the first recommendation. I believe the towels may have been put away whilst still damp so they didn't smell as fresh as we'd have liked. These are things people could bring themselves if they wanted.

the host is very responsive and helpful. the location is very accessible and near to the train station and city centre. good to stay for 1-2 pax.

the mattress was sinking on the side nearer the staircase. kind had to sleep for 2 people.

Lovely pub next door. Easy walk into the city. Clean and comfortable and well equipped.

Bit tricky to find a parking space near the property, it is unrestricted street parking but very full and had to drive around a bit to find a space.
