You will enjoy the quiet, solitude, the peace and the gorgeous all year round mountain views are absolutely stunning. You have beautiful sunset every evening from inside the newly decorated home, by the crackling fire, from the bedrooms, and from the wrap around deck. Entertaining, cooking steaks on the gas grill and relaxing outside are just a few of the activities that await you. This home is well appointed with everything you need for your getaway and only thing you need to bring is your food and drinks. For the more adventurous, try the 20 minute steep trail down to the massive waterfall which is on the 5 acres this log home sits on and you will enjoy the soothing water sound day and night. This property backs up to 100 + acres of pristine untouched forest. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are just a short drive away - 15 min. Our family enjoyed staying in this cabin. The Mountain views were breathtaking.Staying so close to nature. It’s truly a dream come true. My three boys didn’t want to leave. Thank you Li and Vickie for this opportunity to enjoy your private heaven.

Beautiful view, quiet, remote, comfortable cabin and not far from Castle Rock and Lake Lure areas. Sitting on the back porch you can hear the waterfall. We did attempt to go down the steep path to it, but turned back because we could see rainfall had eroded parts of it. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. Nice modern bathroom on the first floor and some updates in the 2nd floor bathroom. Whether your staying for a short or longer term, just about everything you need is available. We spent a lot of time on the back porch, enjoying the view. After a rainfall, the mountains fill with low clouds. And every day you're treated to a sunset. If you like to hike or explore, its good to go down to the Castle Rock area. The State park is great. Castle Rock itself is a small town with a great selection of different eateries, and something for everyone. We had lunch at Lake Lure too. A little farther past the lake is a nice grocery store, Ingles. Its fully stocked with almost everything you can imagine. Everyone we met everywhere we went were polite, and neighborly.

The pictures simply do not do this property justice. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the view and the coziness of the home. We made it down to the waterfall on day two and it is reallllly steep but worth the effort to get down there. We were visited by bears and this was the highlight of the trip for my two little girls! Chimney Rock village has so many cute places to eat and grab a drink. Do not miss out on Fae Nectar, quite the unique experience and just added to our adventures. Chimney rock gem mining was so fun for our girls and playing in the river while we stopped at Chimney rock brewery! We couldn’t get enough of the view from sunrise until sunset and we are already planning our next trip! They have claimed this as BEST TRIP EVER. Thank you to the owners for being so responsive and accommodating and sharing your magical home with our family!

The views from the cabin were very nice and we had an overall pleasant stay. There was evidence of mice, which is half expected in a remote cabin. FYI the waterfall was completely inaccessible due to downed trees. From a value perspective I think there are better options.

My husband and I were in complete awe at the beauty of this property. We have stayed in so many beautiful homes over the years. Places by the ocean, beside rivers, and in the mountains, but this may well be our favorite. Pictures could never capture the how it is to have the mountains so very close. It is an incredibly peaceful spot with glorious breezes and perfectly situated decks, windows, and sliding glass doors. The cabin itself is so cozy and welcoming with absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view from both the living room AND master bedroom was just glorious. Also, there is so much to do in the area! We rode bikes on the nearby Thermal Belt Trail, and on the Little Sugar Creek Greenway, which was just a couple hours away in Charlotte. We hiked at Chimney Rock, checked out the historic Lake Lure Inn, and did a boat tour on Lake Lure. We didn’t have time for much else, but Chimney Rock Village has plenty of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed it all, but our very favorite memories were from our time at the cabin - grilling steaks at sunset, watching a storm roll in, and enjoying morning coffee overlooking the mountains. We enjoyed so many blessings during our stay, but perhaps the best of all was the extraordinary kindness and helpfulness of our host, Dr. Li. Thank you so very much.

The cabin is cozy and equipped with everything necessary to have a relaxing time. We loved just sitting on the back deck in the rocking chairs and watching the sunset and listening to the sound of the rushing river far below us. It was in a secluded and very quiet area. Overall a very restful weekend.

Had a great time at Lake Lure and looked forward to coming home to this cabin. The views are unbeatable and it was very cozy. The waterfall trail is VERY steep but the kids loved it and it was worth the trek.

This cabin is very nice with great decks for grilling, relaxing or just taking in the awesome mountain views. If it's too hot or too cold to go out, just sit in and look through large sliding glass doors, same great view. You can see same view out the main bedroom through it's sliding glass doors as well. Would stay again if in the area. Cabin has all you need, just bring the food and drinks...

The view from this secluded cabin is absolutely stunning! Sipping coffee every morning while rocking on the deck taking in the view was definitely a highlight of the trip. We did not attempt the hike to the waterfall due to the steepness and poison ivy on the trail. We are a clumsy bunch and this would not have ended well for us! Li, the property owner, was extremely patient with all my questions and concerns before our trip. He promptly responded to my message about the air conditioning not working and sent a technician out on a Saturday afternoon. My family and I would love to return to this gem if traveling to this area again!

Wow! What a view from the back deck. It was absolutely breathtaking!! Cabin was very nice, clean, and had all we needed. Grill did not have any gas, but the owner quickly responded and had us a tank within a couple of days. We appreciated being able to directly communicate with the owner and his helpfulness! Highly recommend this cabin

What a great place. High on the mountain, fantastic views, and away from the maddening crowd. Don’t let the winding road or last quarter mile of dirt road deter you. It will be worth the adventure. Once at the property, the outside world will become a distant memory. Also, watch out for the deer as you get close to the property. Rustic, yet clean, comfy and equipped with everything you’ll need - except of course your groceries. If you want to become one with nature, you can’t miss on this great location.

The property was amazing! It’s a little climb to get there but definitely worth it!! The owners have thought of everything! Amazing views! Quiet and remote but not far from anything. It rained the entire time we were there so no hiking to the waterfall but we could still hear it. The only negative thing I can say about the property was there were lights out on the right patio or we could never find a switch to work them so using the bbq we had to use a flash light. Can’t wait to come back!

This is our second time staying here. We had such a lovely time last year we returned for more. It is very homey and clean. The balcony is the BEST for viewing the mountains-in the morning with coffee, in the afternoon for reading a book and at sunset for a glass of wine all while listening to the waterfalls below. The kitchen is well appointed with everything we need. We cooked in every evening. A beautiful location with a lovely home!

Above and beyond our expectations. I could use up a lot of space describing how beautiful and relaxing it was. Everything is as noted in the listing and then some. All you need are drinks and nothing more. Again it was great. I have one suggestion for the owner. The fire pit outside needs something under it to prevent damage to the deck from hot embers. Other then that, thank you for a wonderful 3 days!! We will be back.

Excellent location with many activities and restaurant options in Lake Lure. Everything is within 10 min drive. Property was great with all that you need for a weekend or longer. We did not cook in the kitchen but it appeared to have many cookware and utensils to do so. Futon bed on 2nd floor was ok for a teenager to sleep on but I am doubtful it would be comfortable for two adults as it seem to have some high and low spots. Waterfall hike indeed steep but well worth the fun the the creek. Bring hiking boots and sticks + towel (maybe even water shoes) as it was very refreshing to walk around cold creek. Owners responsive to communications.

Infinity Ridge is a charming, homey cabin with unparalleled views of the mountains—BUT the view is slowly but surely being overtaken by trees & shrubs. The 2 things we look for in a NC rental is the view and a comfortable night’s sleep. The upstairs bedroom has a bed that keeps us from booking at IR more often. It is old and has deep wells making sleep less than comfortable. I genuinely hope some changes are made because we have loved our early stays in this cabin and would like to continue enjoying the property if we have not offended the owners by this review. The last 2 years we have left a bit less enthusiastically than earlier.
