Ottimo appartamento, con qualche intoppo

Appartamento molto spazioso e ben arredato in uno scenario incredibile, bellissimo panorama con le montagne e l'oceano visibili dalle grandi finestre della casa, camere indipendenti, letti molto comodi, cucina molto attrezzata,, è presente un'area giochi per i bambini e un'area dedicata agli animali della fattoria. Super: vasca di acqua calda e acqua fredda, ma accessibili solo a pagamento. Personale molto gentile.

Le vasche sono a pagamento. Abbiamo avuto un problema con la toilette, che si è bloccata, il personale è stato disponibile per ripararla ma siamo partiti prima che succedesse, abbiamo potuto usare la toilette della reception. Abbiamo dovuto richiedere l'asciugacapelli perché non era nell'appartamento, ce ne siamo accorti alle 22, per fortuna era ancora presente qualcuno in reception che ce lo ha fornito.

Lucky night

Simply beautiful.. Cherry on the cake was viewing the aurora borealis while sitting in the cosy living room.

The fact that the reception area, bar etc was all closed. I understand the time of year. I must say that when I called, the owner replied straightaway and provided assistance.

Excellent! Enjoyed the geothermal bath as well!!

Didn’t expect to have a kitchen and small living room, so our room unit including these was a delightful bonus.

Dinner options a bit limited, so this gluten free “ pescatarian “ had only lamb as option. All worked out, yet that was a bit of a surprise.

Lovely resort

The house was very well maintained and pleasant to stay in. Clean and spacious. Facilities were great as well.

There was a mix up at check in and the staff told us they accidentally gave our room to another family. It did take awhile to get sorted out but the manager was lovely and sorted it out immediately for us. Plus points for service recovery.

Loved how cue the property was and the beds were very comfortable.

Loved how clean the house felt over all. The beds were very comfy and loved the little bounce space and outdoor area to relax.

There was a full trash can in my room which made me feel like it wasn't cleaned but the rest of the room felt well tended too so I didn't think too much of it.

Great facilities and location. Overpriced. Too hot. No tv.

The staff (Isa & Marta) were fantastic. The small hike behind the property is so beautiful, it looks like a fantasy movie set

Breakfast was decent, but overpriced. TV didn’t work. No Netflix option. It was pretty warm when we were there, so maybe this is uncommon…it was really hot in the room. You could open windows, but there were no safety mechanisms. Essentially, you’d be opening up a window, on the ground level, that’s big enough for someone to step through.

The quiet and our little house “Malakot”

That everything was charged separately and on the spot, like breakfast, bath towels. Would be better if it could be charged to the room.

A nice stop in a beautiful area where accommodation and restaurants are scarce.

Beautiful location, confortable rooms, geothermal bath in one of the most interesting places in Island. A good restaurant serving excellent lamb

Unexpected access fee to the geothermal bath and by far the most expensive (premium beer) I have ever paid in my lifetime (E 20!)

My favorite place we’ve stayed in Iceland to date.

Beautiful property with the most stunning backdrop! Apartment is brand new and perfect for our family of 6. Restaurant has delicious breakfast and dinner.

I had to clean the kitchen or I can pay $73US for them to clean it. No big deal but this wasn’t disclosed upon booking.

Lovely place. Shame about lack of information.

The place is beautiful and the house we stayed in was very comfortable with fantastic bathrooms and a fabulous kitchen. Enjoyed the thermal pool.

Such a lack of information. Kept getting messages from Booking.com to check in before 6 and to book for breakfast or dinner. No staff at reception, no information at the house, phone number rang out. Eventually got a return text to say neither reception or restaurant were open until June. We had not brought any food to prepare. Found on-line that a restaurant down the road was open. Not sure if misinformation was from Booking.com or Lava resort but it does need to be sorted. I know other people staying there had the same problem. When you have driven for hours the last thing you need is to find out is the restaurant is closed.

I enjoyed the peacefulness, the hosts were exceptionally nice when we finally did communicate. I have mixed feelings abo

comfortable, had kitchenware, fridge, coffee maker, washer/dryer, free parking and wifi. I was able to jog. The animals were super cute!

lack of communication. I didn’t know that the geothermal pool was accessible until my last day. Breakfast that is offered as additional payment seemed to be store bought/pre packaged items.

Super stay. Northern lights in the thermal pool was a dream!

Perhaps our favourite stay in Iceland. Originally, we accidentally bought the shared accommodation, but after speaking with the host on the day they were able to meet us and upgrade us. We arrived after 8pm (due to the roads) in the Winter period and were greeted by a receptionist who also allowed us to make a purchase from the restaurant to bring to the chalet. The chalet was great, nicely decorated with good sized rooms. The icing on the cake was watching the northern lights from the geothermal pool, which we had all to ourselves - we wont forget this experience! If this was picked up by an instagram influencer then this place would be hoarded! We didnt see much of the surroundings, due to the dark evenings/mornings, but seemed to be plenty to do across the farm, which had horses, she and lava fields
