Very conveniently located in the heart of Old San Juan! Wonderful home-made breakfast + Eddie and Tisha gave us great local recommendations for San Juan and rest of the island. We felt well-taken care of!

Everything was perfect! The room and bathroom were very clean and the place is charming. We were particuraly happy with the hosts who tried their best to make the experience a unique one – from preparing a fresh and delicious breakfast every morning, to chatting with us and giving us recommendations of places to visit in San Juan.

The breakfasts were delicious. We appreciated Eddie’s willingness to prepare a takeaway breakfast on a morning we had an early adventure.
It took a while to get hot water for a shower. We felt guilty wasting water.

The design and style were colonial and it was very clean and centric. We also loved the breakfast!!!

Great location in old town. Quiet street close to everything.
Property was beautiful and host was very friendly and helpful. All of her recommendations were spot on.
Breakfast was delicious, local, fresh, and unique.
Staying here was such a treat and we plan to return.

Location, breakfast, charm of place, helpful, friendly innkeepers. Appreciated the info about the Emancipation Day at the Cathedral…
The only complaint I have is the musty smell of our room. It was particularly obvious when we were gone and returned to room. The jacket that hung in the room absorbed that smell, too. Some “Damp Rid” would really help.

I loved this BNB. All of the staff were very friendly, and the owners made a point to meet me and talk with me personally when I arrived. They gave me suggestions on restaurants and things to do in the area, which I ended up following exactly. The room was large and comfortable, and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. I really couldn't have asked for more. Next time I'm in San Juan, I will definitely stay here again.

This B & B is in the perfect spot, as it is close enough to the tourist spots (such as El Morro and San Cristobal forts) in the Old Town, but is far enough from most of the noisier party spots so that you can get a good night’s sleep. Also, the owners were kind and helpful, and were able to help us arrange a car rental for when we left. The room was small but clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious.
We have no complaints about the place. Visitors who are driving to this place though, be aware that Calle del Sol is a very narrow street, and that street parking is difficult (hence why we did not drive while we were there), however the owners will most likely be happy to give you suggestions for parking alternatives.

Everything about Casa Sol B&B is terrific! Tisha and Eddie are the perfect ambassadors for Puerto Rico. Before our arrival they graciously accommodated our need for a late arrival, and that was simply the beginning of a wonderful stay.
The home they share with visitors is beautiful, well-kept, and historic. The breakfasts honor the best of P.R. cuisine, are hearty and delicious.
Eddie and Tisha will help plan adventures and make excellent suggestions if asked. They support environmentally friendly practices with solar panels and more.
The hardest part was leaving these new friends. We hope to return.

Street was busy, no parking.

Pleasant and helpful owners. Delicious home cooked breakfast. Very clean with hand sanitizer and shoe sanitizing mat. Bedrooms with armoire, luggage racks, nightstands, etc. Good shower and shelves for toiletries. Fantastic history to the building with open air common area. Location central and walking distance of all of Old San Juan. Comfortable beds.
The frogs are noisy at night but it is unique to the area.

This is a quality establishment. Breakfast is superb and served in a delightful open-air courtyard. Most of all, the proprietors are always available, helpful, and simply delightful people. One of the finest B&B’s I’ve stayed.

This charming bed and breakfast is located right in Viejo San Juan, just a short walk from everything. We absolutely loved our stay! The room was lovely, the breakfasts were beautiful and delicious and you won't find kinder or more generous proprietors. We will definitely be returning!

Beautifully restored historic home with gorgeous architecture and so much character. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for exploring Old San Juan. The property was charming and super clean, and it felt very safe and secure. And the breakfasts were superb. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
The rooms don’t get very dark at night due to some windows high up in the rooms that let in light from outside/hall lamps, etc., which made it difficult for us to sleep. Curtains would have been a welcome addition. Further, outside noise seemed to travel through the walls a bit, which didn’t help us sleep either. But as a historic property with very old architecture, a bit of noise is clearly understandable.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! Absolutely recommend staying here. Very clean, very accommodating, perfect location for exploring, and the breakfasts were phenomenal. I will be dreaming about the fruit bowls for a long time!
The only thing I would change is my room selection (my fault!) - it’s a little noisy during the night in the rooms directly on the street.

The location of Casa Sol was absolutely perfect to explore Old San Juan on foot. Eddie greeted us when we arrived, made sure were were comfortable and oriented, and gave us great tips for the city! The breakfast was amazing-- fantastic coffee, thoughtful selection and presentation, and ample food. I'm still thinking about the fruit bowl. We felt very comfortable with the Covid-related protocols Casa Sol had in place. Highly recommended!
Everything was fantastic! No complaints.

I spent four nights with my 10 years old son at this charming colonial property at the heart of old San Juan in late June. The staff are so helpful and professional. They helped us arrange for airport transportation and trips to the other side of the island. The highlight of the stay was the exceptional homemade breakfasts and the strategic location of the Bed and Breakfast 5 minutes from all major attractions (la perla, museums, forts, restaurants…). An unforgettable escape from busy US life.
It was all perfect!

Staying at Casa Sol made us feel like we were locals living in the old town. The bed and breakfast was clean, beautiful and comfortable. Location was amazing. The complementary gourmet breakfast in the morning kick starts your day just right. Tisha and Eddie were wonderful with accommodating my special request to do something special for my friend’s bday.
No complaint at all
