The location was excellent, walks from the doorstep, field behind to walk the dogs, cosy and comfortable. Very handy little shop very close by. Private parking space always a bonus.
There was no hot water, thankfully the shower was electric so at least we had hot showers. I know we only stayed two nights but it would have been nice if the hot water was sorted out. A few teabags would have been nice, luckily we caught the little shop just before it closed and stocked up on milk, tea, coffee etc.

Loved the layout of the cottage very comfortable and clean. Also very good location, handy for all amenities.
The fact there were no towels.

lovely cottage in delightful location

It’s located in a gorgeous town with stunning scenery and check out was easy.
We were freezing cold on our first night. Outside temp of 4 degrees and we had no heating. The property has only storage heaters which need to be switched on overnight to store heat for the next day/night. These had been switched off by previous guests/host so nothing we could do. Contacted the host, got no reply before going to bed, thought about leaving but I. the end went to sleep in our coats. Have contacted the host to discuss the matter since but no response.

Location was perfect, just what we wanted. The facilities in the village were ideal. No telephone signal at all which was fantastic as we wanted to get away from it all for a few days.

Lovely cottage in a great location very well furnished with everything that we needed to ensure that our stay was very comfortable.
We seemed to struggle to get consistently hot water from the shower and there weren’t any instructions in the cottage that would help us confirm whether we were doing the right thing or not. The floorboards creaked very loudly and so do the doors which woke my sisters when I had to use the toilet in the night as the toilet is upstairs and the bedrooms downstairs.

Well equipped comfortable cottage in a beautiful peak district village
Hosts didn't respond to messages
Note there were no supplies at all not even soap, tissues, salt, cleaning materials etc so bring everything you need

Location was perfect Loved cottage set up. Beautiful character property, wonderful wood beams and staircase. Comfy spacious sofa. Fab fridge. Great WiFi connection at cottage. Helpful info pack. Very dog friendly cottage. Easy to clean. Enclosed public field nearby great for dogs.
Double bed mattress was too hard for me. Would be good to enclose outside seating area so secure and could leave things out. A washing machine would be good to have for washing muddy clothes from walks and a retractable washing line in outside area. Shower lacked pressure.

Loved the locations. Fantastic cottage with lovely traditional features. Accommodated us, even with 2 dogs. Super clean and equipped. Would not hesitate to go back

Nothing I saw would need to change

Clean cottage. Very helpful hosts. Replied straight away when we had a query.
The location is perfect. Beautiful views, quiet and yet close to shops and pubs.
Was not easy to see on website what facilities are not available in the cottage.

The location is superb. The cottage is situated in a lovely village and is very close to the amenities. The cottage is very quiet but is so close to the local shops and pubs. There are lovely walks from the doorstep.
The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water.
It was perfect for a weekend away but as there is no washing machine it might not be as good for a longer stay especially if your clothes get muddy on rainy walks as ours did!
The bathroom is upstairs next to the open living area but as it as a small and old cottage I don't think this could be changed.

The cottage was full of charm, and very warm and comfortable. Right in the village so ideally placed. It was clean and had everything we needed. The information folder was very good
There wasn't anything we didn't like
