Perfect house to stay with family when exploring Koblenz. There is of course public transport but even by car its like 10 min into city centre or the other direction to the castle. Shopping opportunities in abundance close by including bakery.
We loved that the house feels more lived in than a sterile holiday home.
Quiet road, good to have the private parking slot.
Enjoyable and private outdoor seating can be used all day thanks to the blinds.
The owners were super attentive and regularly checked in via messages to see we have all we need.
What we appreciated especially was
- the small hamper which was prepped for us
- the kitchen containing Condiments, sugar, coffee, oils, Spices
- toys for the kids indoors AND outdoors
There is mold in the shower. Surely because other guests don't open the window but obviously not good for health and something that needs to be addressed.
Most of the towels smelled like they had been forgotten in the washing machine. It happens to all of us but we don't enjoy being reminded of that during holidays. A tumble dryer would also make the towels fluffier and softer.
The walls are quite thin and the neighbours love watching TV loudly until 3am but not much one can do
The bedroom downstairs has a sliding door which is very noisy when there is air movement or someone walking. We stuck a tea towel in to stop that

location, kitchen facilities, prompt help on chat
1. Beds and the bedding : One of the beds in the bedroom was broken, bedding was dated, old, not fresh (unhygenic) and insufficient. The pillows were damaged , almost flat with no cushions. The fur filling in the pillows and quilt ( which was almost like a flat sheet) kept coming out and sticking to the clothes.
2. TV : TV remote wasnt working
3. Ironing facilities : Iron table was unusable with the table cover torn ( had to iron on the bed which was very uncomfortable) ( this was after checking about thr iron table availability prior to arrival)
4. Carpet : Carpet in the living room was stained and looked dirty
5. Bathroom : Shower cabinet was leaking from all sides and was very fragile and rickety.
6. Towels : Towels were worn out ( as if they had been heavily used for years) and one of it was even torn. ( towels availability was confirmed prior to arrival, so we werent carrying any as a backup) . This was a very unpleasant experience overall.

Very quiet and clean! Warm and comfortable! Well equipped kitchen! The host was very kind and helpful! Nice view from the upper floor. The house is in a neighborhood on top of the hill! At the end of the street you can view Koblenz, the Rhine river and the Mosel river! Car parking on property!

Beautiful, spacious house and wonderful for families with kids. Lovely garden and dining space outside. All amenities needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. Netflix on TV which was a bonus! Great location to explore not only Koblenz but also a relatively short car drive to Cologne, Frankfurt, Bonn, Trier, Limburg, Marie-Laach Monastery and many more beautiful places. Host was a real gentleman and went out of his way to make sure our stay was comfortable!
Minor point, the walls are a bit thin and so could hear occasional noises from neighbouring properties at night.
