It was in a very central location, beds were reasonably comfortable, place was warm throughout, was ok for one night and certainly did in a pinch, would like to stay for longer and probably won’t be back.
Quite dated, walls and all wood work needed a good lick of paint. Not many tea/coffee sachets etc, especially as the apartment was meant for 6 people (only 4 of us in the group) the dining room table only had 5 chairs (not a problem for us, but could be for a larger group) also there was only 3 place mats which was a problem in the morning as one of us had to share a place mat. When we first arrived the sky box did not work, but after closer inspection we noticed all cables had been pulled out, so we eventually got the sky box to work (took about an hour) the bathroom was quite dated and only had handwash ( it does state the the apartment has toiletries, but apart from handwash and toilet roll I saw nothing else) it also states that there is sockets near the bed but in the room I slept in they were behind a big wardrobe (not helpful) there was sockets at the other end of the room but wasn’t handy as I like to plug my phone in next to the bed so I can see the time easily in the morning. There does say there was Wi-Fi but there was no code provided, there was however a little card that stated your Wi-Fi password is:, but it was blank, ( could have asked the owners but as it was only for one night we didn’t bother) on the whole not a bad place to stay and as we had come to Aberdeen a day earlier that expected due to weather it was ok as a last minute place to stay, wouldn’t come here again though. Plus the £200 deposit is certainly not worth it just for one nights stay it was £50 more than the room itself!

The property is very clean and in the city center. The facilities in the room were excellent, I liked the washing machine, it made my life easy, especially because I am travailing with kids.
I have large luggage, no lift available, but managed to move my stuff.

The host obviously knew how to cater to guests needs. Everything we needed was there. If I need to, would definitely stay again

Facilities were perfect
Had a nightmare checking in found the woman dealing with it rude and abrupt facilities were perfect but wouldn’t return just because of the woman that checked me in

The location was perfect, literally right in the center, less than 5 minutes from the Main Street, from McDonald’s and next door to a few pubs, good vibe! The apartment was perfect for the 2 nights we stayed, had everything we needed and more. There was trouble with the hot water not working one morning so I text to let them know and within the hour someone came around to fix it for us and it worked perfect since. Could not fault the place, very cosy and perfect for a group of 6
We paid for a 3 bedroom apartment which was supposed to have 3 double beds, however there was only 2 doubles and one single which meant one of our group slept on the settee, wasn’t much of an issue but a bed for them would’ve been good!

My stay at the residence was a horrid experience. I have never encountered such a rude and arrogant host before, in my many years of travel. Accessing the facility was an arduous process as I had issues in transferring the requested pre-check-in deposit. I had to stay outside in the frigid Aberdeen cold, as the host quite coldly informed me that she must receive the meagre GBP200 before I can gain access. I requested that the transfer glitches could be resolved after I check in, but she turned me down. This, despite the fact that I had paid close to GBP2000 for the residence. I left town for a few days and the host sent people in to the apartment for "so called" repairs. They turned the place "upside down" and virtually rummaged through the rooms. On my return I protested vehemently to the host and true to her arrogant type, she completely waved off my complaints and insisted that she has a right to "trespass" into a fully paid for residence, with or without the consent of the resident. In my decades of regular travel I have never seen anything like this. I will NEVER recommend a residence with such passable facilities and an extremely conceited host, to any traveler. I wish I have the opportunity to sue the host for rummaging through the residence in my absence. For a 3 week stay, there was no cleaning services provided or even change of towels or bedsheets. Horrible experience, it was.
Absolutely everything

The location
It is expensive for what it is. The heating was a struggle to get on. Had to phone the owner twice. The sofa bed was dirty.

My family enjoyed the serenity, security, simplicity and comfort provided; it was quite homely. The location is also very accessible. I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Location not great if solo traveller as at bottom of dark alley way which was also a throughfare for night time revellers so it was noisy. Apartment itself was nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. Entrance to block was full of laundrey behind the door and up the walls, Fire Door wedged open by a hoover. Within the apartment the shower was a trickle, the shower door was hanging off and the towel rail was on the floor. Rest of the apartment wasn't much better.

The location is spot on. Just at the city centre and accessible to several facilities.
The check in time is quite late. It should be a bit earlier to aid easy settlement for travelers. Check out time should move to 12pm

I have waited till now to write this review due to deposit of £200 being kept by owner!!
Property is not fit for purpose
Filthy beds, food out of date in cupboards, broken furniture, fire hazards, owner manages to leave her own 5 star reviews for the property on Google reviews… owner would not reply after being challenged regarding property!!

I have been using booking.com for more than 12 years never had a landlord call me after I booked to convince me to change my mind the landlord was asking some personal questions that made me very uncomfortable landlord very paranoid she recommended a different accommodations!!!
the rooms are ok we had to ask for towels !!! the sofa bed is not comfortable we politely asked for a late check out ,it was declined but the reason was somebody is checking in at 1 pm where the check-in is not until 3 I have reduced mobility and my son had a hospital appointment we had to leave early the little kids waited in a coffee shop while we get my son's appointment £1 then £200 deposit!!? it's not worth it at all the hassle as far as I'm concerned I would never stay there again never had a landlord call me personally to make me change my mind or to cancel my booking by giving me the impression that the apartment does not suit us. Landlord are not supposed to ask personal questions Ie why we traveling to Aberdeen

was quite easy to find and was quiet
they withheld my £100 deposit for damages due to confusion of checkout times which was very inconvenient.
They insisted I was to pay for an additional night and extra time charged for the cleaner. My advice would be to spend the extra money taken from me, to retrain their cleaning staff as my bed had other peoples hair and lint on it, and the couch could have done with a good cleaning as well. we also had damp dishes in the cupboard which i wish i took a photograph of but dried instead, as well as a second fridge which smelt disgusting and stunk out the room when i opened it.
I put a fair review up but was then confronted with Whatsapp messages threatening me with legal action regarding the review.
This is no way to treat guests. My review was genuine, it wasn’t awful but it definitely wasn’t of a high standard.
I accept we overstayed by but we were unaware of check out time and then to lose our whole deposit to the tune of £100 was unfair and I will not stay here again.
So if you do not mind these things then i would recommend:)

great central location. The apartment was clean and had everything you would need for a stay.
I found the bed very uncomfortable. it was two singles pushed together and it felt lumpy.

honestly, nothing. the best thing not being harsh is the fact you have a bed to sleep on that was tidy at least.
The interior design is terrible, location is terrible. The landing isn’t clean and messy with a wardrobe and bags. The price is cheap, but still doesn’t justify what was offered, in terms or quality, but most especially the worst thing was the customer service. The lady that supports you during your stay has little to no patience, when you ask her question, refers you back to emails and doesn’t just answer directly, she would cut the phone on you if you ask her to clarify what ‘she thinks’ she may have already explained. it was my worst booking.com experience, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone
