Wonderful stay in a quiet neighbourhood.

Clean, comfortable with full kitchen amenities. Parking on site & a fair size of enclosed backyard to relax and sit outside. Friendly host with lots of local recommendations.

It’s not right on the beach but still walkable.

Beautiful place to stay in Sagres!

Wonderful apartment and super friendly reception, Myriam gave great tips on local restaurants and activities and helped arrange great surfing lessons. From the apartment you see the ocean on both sides, seeing both sunrise and sunset. Would definitely recommend.

Disappointed & powerless

The apartments have a nice decoration with attention to detail. The T2 Apartment has an amazing view to sunrise and sunset and the place it's suitable for a family.

This could have been a nice experience but it wasn't. I booked 2 nights at Casa Biota for myself and my family. I payed for the T2 apartment and received the confirmation from Booking.com. When I got there later in the night, the apartment I booked was occupied as there was an issue with my reservation. The remaining option left was a T1 apartment which is a "hostel" style with 1 room and 4 single beds. (It is also very interesting that in 46 pictures of Casa Biota in Booking.com, there is not even 1 that shows the hostel bedroom). After driving for 5 hours, at 10-ish pm, we agreed to stay in those conditions, as being forced to find 2 available rooms, for a reasonable price, on a very short notice it is not really feasible. It was a long-weekend with a national event (Lés-a-Lés) hosting more than 3k people in this small village. The host also advised that calling Booking Customer Service at that time wouldn't be much of a help and ensured next morning we would sort the issue. Indeed, the T2 apartment was vacant next day and we could move. But this doesn't mean we can ignore what happen and assume everything went well. I opened a query with Booking.com which consequently inquired the case with the host, and none of them want to take accountability for the issue. I am not in a position to validate who's fault is but for sure it's not mine! I am the customer who paid more to have the full T2 apartment, and I was offered a T1 apartment instead, losing all the privacy, sleeping all together! This is my complain to Booking.com who does not protect the customer and take the accountability for this big inconvenience and also my disappointment with Casa Biota, who says that if I "agreed" to stay the 1st night in a T1 apartment, I cannot complain. So in the end, we can all be charged extra to stay in better conditions, but if something goes wrong, no one will reimburse us. Attached you find my reservation details.

Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a surf trip with friends.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very modern and comfortable with good facilities. There was a nice garden with space to dry wetsuits and parking next to the property.

There was no soap in the bathrooms and no drying up towel provided in the kitchen

Perfect!

Casa Biota is the absolutely perfect place to spend wonderful holidays. This house has really extraordinary good vibes. The apartment is very tasteful furnished and very well thought out to make it very comfortable for a family of four. We appreciated also the very pleasant bed linen and mattrasses the spacious bathroom. Also the garden is furnished with very comfortable deck chairs. To sit on the sea view terrace with a cup of coffee, while the children are skateboarding on the little ramp in the garden is a highlight as well. The host family is very,very sympathetic and very helpful with all questions.

A nice chilling place in the southwesternmost tip of Portugal

To start with, this is a review of the apartment (on the 1st floor) of Casa Biota. The accommodation on the ground floor is a a completely different type of accommodation, as far as I understand. The apartment is spacious, clean and stylish. You get the chance to see the sunrise from both bedrooms and the living room, as well, at the same time, you can admire the sunset from the living room (and the kitchen!), too, which has windows on both sides of the building. The area is quiet, yet, there are lots of restaurants around within a walking distance or, at least, within a few minutes' drive. The beaches are beautiful, superb waves, the breeze from the Atlantic cools you down even if it's around 40 C. The area is safe, parking at no fee is available without booking, the owners are a very friendly surfer couple, easy going, no issues. Whether you are surfers or just want to chill, I can warmly recommend this apartment!

We loved everything! The location is great, it's a quiet neighborhood. The bunk beds are the cutest and super comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and a washing machine. The decor is so beautiful! Everything was very clean.

The apartment was very nice, clean, newly renovated and not only very stylish and cozy, but also equipped with everything you need for a longer stay. The rooms are very spacious. The location is a bit outside the main street with all the restaurants. But it is very quiet and you can reach everything in 10-15 minutes. The hostess gave us a warm welcome as well as tips for Sagres. We would have liked to stay longer!

An unforgettable place to spend the perfect holiday.

I love the decoration, the quality of the double windows, the cosy living rooms and the beautiful kitchen. It seems that It wasn't winter because the hot air we have everywhere in the apartment. The owners were really attentive and kind.

Perfect apartment with everything we needed and even a view to the sea and lighthouse.

Casa Biota was the perfect place to stay for a visit to Sagres. The hostess met us as we drove up and took good care of us, showing us everything and also giving us possible itineraries. She was wonderful. The apt was spotless and comfortable. It had everything we might possibly need.
