Klidné ubytování uprostřed přírody

Velice milá paní majitelka, klidná lokalita uprostřed přírody, pohodlný a čistý pokoj. Paní majitelka nás dokonce hodila autem do města.

V blízkosti nebyla možnost si zajít na jídlo, ani nakoupit, pokud nemáte dopravní prostředek. Připravte se na to předem. Naše chyba, ale možná to někomu pomůže.

Tranquiladad en el Campo

La amabilidad del propietario fue increíble. El entorno muy tranquilo y envuelto de campos. Aconsejo probar la Cesta de Desayuno, es impresionante de buena. La cocina limpia y cada habitación tiene su cajón con sus cubiertos, vasos y platos. También hay cereales, café y tes.

La grifería de la ducha oxidada, creo que necesita un cambio. El baño no tiene para colgar las toallas, alguna percha iría bien.

De rust in een weidse omgeving

Het gebouw ligt op een heuvel en vanuit ieder raam heb je een prachtig uitzicht. De kamer was voorzien van een ruim en goed bed. De gemeenschappelijke keuken was uitgerust met een kookplaat, oven, magnetron en een grote koelkast (voor iedere kamer een plank) met vriezer. Iedere kamer had ook een lade met borden, bekers, glazen en bestek. Het is een prima uitvalsbasis om de zuid/westkaap van Europa te bezoeken. Ook bezoeken aan het fort van Sagres en de stranden en kliffen in de omgeving zijn aan te raden. De host verdiend een 10!

Voor ons was alles prima. Ben je echter wat slechter ter been moet je er wel rekening mee houden dat er trappen zijn om de bovenste kamers en de centrale keuken te bereiken

Breakfast was really good and staff available any time we needed.

We notice some spiderwebs under the bed and near the curtains. The bathroom didn't have any ventilation, so we had to keep the room's window open. It would have helped if there's any exhaust fan in the bathroom and a net for the mosquitos in the windows.

Excellent experience in the countryside

Excellent stay in Monte de Santo Antonio. Located in the country side, yet not far from facilities in Sagres and Villa do Bispo. The host is very nice, the rooms and comfortable and the common kitchen complete and clean. Moreover rooms have very comfortable beds and it's possible to eat in the terrace often repaired from wind with a view on the countryside and the ocean.

It was very remote. loved all the personal touches with the rooms, kitchen, and especially how kind and sweet the host is. the whole experience felt like I was visiting an old friend. Will always recommend this place. Also, the breakfast was out of this world good!

Wonderful! I’m so willing to visit there a gian.

The location is so great! There’s a supermarket nearby where we bought the food for our dinner. We enjoyed a lot when we stayed there. The kitchen is good and the view from the terraza is fantastic.

Local Landscape with meeting between valley-ocean, the room’s cleaning & the kindness of the reception-lady that makes u feel at home!

that we stayed only a night…you should stay a week to appreciate the rural vibes and breath good air 🫶🏻

Exceptional

First of all, contact with the owners - great people, very open, smiling, always ready to help. If you are looking for a place away from the city, where there is peace and quiet - this place will be perfect for you. Breakfast available on request - very tasty with fresh products. The place is clean, the owners make sure that the room is cleaned on a regular basis and that you do not run out of anything.

Very nice bed & breakfast in the countryside, far far far away from anything, very quiet - nice breakfast with the best jam ever - very nice host - comfortable room / bed - awesome views for coffee in the morning

There should be somewhere to put your things in the bathroom, like a shelf or some hangers - very little wifi in our room (A)

We really liked the host. She was super nice and told us a few thing to visit. We liked kitchen, the shop (Lidl) is near, so we could cook.

Everything was ok, except the place is quite windy.

An idilic, wild version of Algarve, to be explored.

Magnificent view from the property, over the meadows to the sea.

The host was super nice and friendly. The room was super, the place is really quiet and in the nature. Amazing view. Highly raccomanded.

Superb

Josefina was a very friendly host. We even got to use some eggs from her own chickens for our breakfast. Our bed was comfortable and the room basic but clean. The view from the terrace was quite nice as well.

Not our cup of tea

The owner was very friendly, however we will still not return.

Even though the description on booking read that a nice breakfast should have been included once we arrived we had been told that there will not be breakfast, but we could use the kitchen to prepare something for ourselves. Haha - the location is so remote and we arrived late so no supermarkets around to do a quick spontaneous grocery shopping. Personally I was rather disappointed because one of the reasons I had booked this place was their well praised breakfast. The next day the owner had told me, they had changed the description in Booking to "no breakfast". I only wished they had done it before. The room, bed and blanket was cold and damp, there was no heating and as a result I caught a sore throat the next morning. The water faucet and drain are old and damaged, it wasn't rust, but it felt very rough to the touch, like sand paper. The room wasn't dear, of course, but we had far better experiences for less money in less remote locations in Portugal so for us this wasn't good value for money. However, I am happy to read that many other people seem to like this place.
