Beautiful room in lovely home near Praia da Araia Branca beaches

Carla was such a wonderful host!! She was kind and fun to talk with! The beautiful home is set high on the hill with lovely views! The room was large and airy and very comfortable🥰 It was really quiet with age parking. Shower and bathe were clean. Thank you Carla! I can’t wait to come back!

+ friendly owner Ana, thank you was a pleasure to meet you + We were able to check in earlier - thank you +Peace and quiet + 1st floor + comfy bed + Fridge + Hair dryer + Wifi was ok + There was TV, havent watch it + Close to the city centre, beach, view POINT, shop - SPAR

Suggestion to improve for better experience and higher standard: - the room needs cleaning, there was a lot of dust, the pillows were a bit dirty maybe from the dust I dont know - the electric kettle was working but when you make tea in it sticks to the mug maybe it was water issue - the stair case was full of incense smell, Im not against but it was overwhelming - bathroom rug was probably washed a long time ago (Black one) needs a wash

Lovely house and rooms, all you could need for your stay was available and the host were very friendly and professional. Had a lovely chat and laugh with both :)

How about a ZAP?

The place is a bit outside of the city hustle bustle and very nicely located if you like to have silence. It was so quiet that you could only hear nature. We could only hear the sea. It was very good. I was able to sleep with the window open and far away I listened to the sea ... it's great in that regard... However I usually sleep with the window closed and in this place the air just got so bad I had to open it... (I woke up caughing).

The place has seen much better times, but its clean. In the room there is a smell of mold/humidity. Logically we tried to switch on the heater (tellingly its covered with spiderwebs) but I plugged the heater in anyways and - puff - the electric circuit breaker went off (in case you need it: it's on the first floor, behind the house entrance door)... I also tried to plug in the multiplug (tv, fridge) because I was feeling lucky to not get electrocuted: "TÜV sagt nein" (image attached).

Basic appartment, good location

The host Ana was helpfull and kind! The location of the appartment is perfect. Only 2 minutes away from the "central street", the supermarket is around the corner and you can walk in 5 minutes to the beaches nearby. Sagres is very small and only has 1 central street. There's a private parking which is nice, although there are enough parking possibilities in Sagres as well. There's a small balcony to sit with 2 persones, in the morning and evening you'll have sun there. The fort/"the and of the world" is 15minutes walking. You'll get fresh towels and they refresh the bed one's a week.

The appartment wasn't super hygienic. For example, there was no dishwashing soap to do your dishes. Over all it's basic, like there's no salt, oil or so ever to cook with. Also the kitchen is a bit old, but does the job if you want to. The shower is nice and warm but it wasn't that clean. The bedroom was a bit dusty.

Basic but comfortable and good value.

Very basic accommodation and priced accordingly. Nice big bathroom and shower. The off-street parking was a bonus.

Too many unnecessary ornaments etc gathering dust - could do with a good decluttering, in my opinion anyway. The rug in the bedroom was distinctly grubby.

Theresa is a great and friendly woman! It's a cash-only place. Don't forget that. Also next to Vila Velha, the best restaurant in Sagres.

We are both persionados, so getting the bags up to the room was a bit of a problem.

The woman who checked us in was v friendly.

Shower drained slowly and trash cans were full. So just needed a little house keeping.
