I loved the host, she was very friendly and welcoming and her English was very good. I felt very at home. The view from the house was very nice. They also had a garden where you could relax. The food was the best food I had so far during our travel. We also met very nice other tourists at the guesthouse.
We had to share a bathroom with many other people.

Tutto bene.

Dodo is a fantastic woman, very friendly and hospitable and a real character! She has a very atmospheric house in the most beautiful location, with a lovely garden under the mountains. We had dinner which was unbelievably delicious and plentiful, same with breakfast!

Dodo is a fantastic host. So friendly, always smiling, nothing too much trouble. Beer available, food was delicious. Loved the communal vibes at dinner. Prime position to start the trek up to Adeshi. Highly recommend.
Might be a good idea to offer some flip flops to use in the bathroom as it’s a wet room.

Everything was ok! We stayed there on the way to Ushguli and in this house we got the best dinner and breakfast during entire hiking! The lady made also best chaczapuri we ate in Georgia! We could also buy beers and wine made by the owner! It was really good! She woke up very early to prepare breakfast for more than 10 ppl to be ready at 7! She is very positive person. Recommend this house.

Dodo is amazing! There is plenty of food and it is very tasty! The rooms are comfortable and now there are two bathrooms with showers. The breakfast is also wonderful and plenty, and Dodo woke up very early so everything was ready and we could walk without a lot of sun in the morning. Thanks!

Nice guesthouse on the Mestia to Ushguli trek. Comfortable beds, great dinner and breakfast - communal eating with the other guests.
Although it says breakfast included on the booking.com site, this doesn't make it any cheaper than other guesthouses. Price for dinner ended up being 50 GEL per person. Prices could be better advertised so that the correct amount of cash to take on the trek can be calculated.

It is the best for 70-80 GEL, you get a lot of food, coffee, tea and delicious cupcakes for free. I recommend you!

House and setting are full of character ant it was good to be able to relax in the garden. Dodo was very welcoming and took time to understand and cater for an awkward special diet. Communal dinner and breakfast were tasty and plentiful. Room was comfortable and cool with the windows open. Old fashioned, homely and good value.
Only 2 showers for the number of guests meant queuing but not a big issue..

The politeness of the host is amazing. Everything was perfect, there is a positive vibe which brings people together. I was on the hiking trail and with other guests, we were talking about Dodo's politeness for many days

It's a very homely house, run by a lovely woman. The bedrooms are simple, but the common room is very cosy to hang out at. We came completely drenched in rain, and Dodo placed our shoes by the heater and gave us some hot tea and cake. The food was the best during the whole hike - delicious and plentiful, with both meat and vegetarian options.
We really liked it
there and were very sad to leave!

The host lady was nice and helpful, dinner was generous and delicious. There were 6 guests including us for the night and two bathrooms were sufficient.
We had heavy rains and needed a transfer to either Mestia, Adishi, the ski resort or Ushguli to continue our track either way. The driver who may belong to the family operating the house gave us excessive rates and it felt like they wanna make money of the situation that we were reliant on them fully. There are no shops or grocery stores in Zhabeshi, so make sure you are packed with food when you leave Mestia, that is the only place they have stores. Otherwise you need to order breakfast and dinner at your host's, which is a nice thing but the food not always good and usually very much overpriced (dinner same price as accommodation?). Our room was very small and the walls felt like paper boards, we could hear our neighbours speaking, laughing, snoring, everything.

We came quite late, basically already during dinner time, but they still managed to prepare extra food for us. The food was delicious and there was quite a lot of it (soup, khachapuri, chicken + rice, eggplant rolls and others) The same applies for breakfast (Pancakes, eggs, fresh bread and khachapuri, cake etc.). Then they brought more bread and khachapuri and we could take as much as we could (even stuff that we couldn't finish for breakfast) for lunch with us on the road. Because we came late, they didn't have the room for only two people already, so they gave us room with 5 beds. Later in the night two more guests came, but the host only took bedsheets from the extra beds in our room and let them sleep somewhere else (on sofa, for cheaper, i guess). I appreciate they didn't put random people in our room.
Biggest guesthouse we've been in and they only had one bathroom, so it took a while to get in, especially in the morning, but that applies to most guest houses, so it's completely fine. There was so much food we couldn't finish at the dinner and they told us they'll have to throw it out. Hopefully they gave it to cows or something.

Dodo is a wonderful hostess and very welcoming. The property is easy to find in the village. There is a porch and other shaded area to sit outside. Dinner was very good and lots of dishes to try.

We loved the welcoming, cosy feeling we got as soon as we arrived. Dodo is an absolute queen, smiling and joking with us. We were sad to say goodbye to her! The communal space is so homey and inviting. There is tea and coffee available whenever you need. The food was great, both dinner and breakfast. The rooms were basic but comfortable and warm- everything you need after a day hiking.
Access to more than one toilet would be helpful.

The grandma/owner is really something ! She is the most hospitable I met during the trek. She doesnt speak a lot english.
The guesthouse is really nicely built with many stuff to relax after the hike.
The evening meal was good and generous
It was 75gel for everything (with lunchbox)
I was in room in construction, the bed was a bit hard but nothing really dramatic. I still could well sleep ! Either way it would have been perfect 😀
