Honest review

Fantastic location as we were visiting The National Bowl. We received a lovely warm welcome. Pleasantly surprised with our room- it was self-contained and not attached to the pub. Our room had a separate entrance and there was plenty of parking. Room was immaculate and finishing touches were lovely. We had a wonderful nights sleep in a comfy bed. Room got a little warm but we were provided with a fan, which was great. We didnt get chance to trt Overall lovely stay and we would most definitely stay again. Thank you 😊

No WiFi only in public areas and not in our room so be mindful if travelling for buisness

Satisfactory, would not stay again due to only opening at 4pm and unable to have an early breakfast.

Room very clean and staff very nice.

Checkin is 4pm, Should state not open until 4pm. Heating does not come on until 8am, should be earlier for people leaving early. Unable to have breakfast as it does not start until 9am Shower cold water temperature knob not working. room 3. TV remote battery cover missing.

was a nice hotel and convenient for our travel to Unit Nine club close by. Breakfast was also very good

Only downside was the noise from the road. If you get a room overlooking the junction, its bloody noisy.

Separate accommodation from the pub. Modern decor. Fan in room a bonus.

Exactly the sort of rest we needed.

The friendliness of the welcome and attention of the owners made the Swan a real home away from home for a couple of workers changing location between jobs. If you are a tradey working in the area then we cannot recommend The Swan enough.

Great Modern Value for money property

The room was very modern and was in a small townhouse and very clean and well appointed. There was plenty of tea, coffeee and biscuits. It was easily accessible from the motorway and the associated pub looked very nice.

Only thing was I'd mention is that I wanted to ventilate the room and the window lock were on and I couldn't open the windows or the vents above.

Extremely clean! I was pleased to see it was spotless. The room is very cosy and has great facilities. Staff had ensured the room was warmed up before my arrival so that was very attentive!

lovely pub. terrible noise from sign outside window.

lovely little pub with really friendly staff. the room itself was a nice room with a comfortable bed. good shower.

I didn’t get a wink of sleep. There was a high wind all night long which made the sign directly outside my window creak so loudly it kept me awake for the entire night. It was awful. I never usually complain but this was horrendous. I have a video with the sound but the website won’t let me load it.
