Good value clean bed for the night in a location close to everything that Hull has to offer and that’s quite a lot compared to my town

It was almost empty when I was there. The few people staying there were not very friendly.

Located in the middle of the old town, it’s in the perfect central spot for places to eat, drink and explore the city. It’s comfortable, clean and with a full range of facilities for the average traveller. The communal seating areas and halls are choc full of bits n’ pieces of memorabilia- a veritable backpackers museum - and there are well stocked kitchens and of course, free wi-fi.
There was no TV in my single room (I know many people like one) but I would hardly say that was a problem.

My stay at the Hull Trinity Backpackers was brilliant, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is great and only a short stroll to the centre. The wifi was reliable and there's a kitchenette area with a microwave and fridge which is really handy. All in all it was well worth the money and I would defo stay here again.
Nothing bad on the hostels part but there's a couple of bars down the road that are open until quite late on the weekend blaring out music but that was it.

My experience was great from start to finish. I arrived three hours before the official check-in time, but I reached out to the hostel and requested an early check-in, and they agreed.
The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome and at ease from the moment I arrived. They checked me in quickly and efficiently, and showed me to my bunk bed, which was clean, comfortable.
I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The staff were exceptional, the facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. I will definitely be returning on my next visit!

A homely, cosy, colourful and interesting place, lovely kitchen and dining area, comfortable and warm room (there was a great writing bureau in mine!), very good location situated in the old part of the city, close to the waterfront and Hull Minster, also easy walking distance to shops, library and railway station. Glenn is a friendly, helpful and hospitable host, check in was no problem, everything was spotlessly clean. Will definitely stay again, excellent value for money, highly recommended. Thank you.

- First off the owner is such a lovely guy. Friendly, knowledgeable, top class sense of humour. We loved chatting with him and his easy going energy.
- easy check in
- decent tour around the place
- comfy bed in the 2 person private room, very clean, radiators knocking out a good warm temperature
- shower rooms had generous supply of shower gels and shampoos which were very appreciated
- funky front of house room with loads of info and well stocked coffee/ice cream station
- really nice breakfast station in our bit with a generosity/donations tin for cereals and milk etc
- super central and within 5 minute walk of the best old boozers in the Old Town, also very close to the excellent Thieving Harry’s for breakfast
- we will defo be back! Hull is a great night out!
- paper thin walls, but our host told us about that beforehand so we were prepped. All our neighbours on either side were very considerate and in general the hostel has a very respectful vibe. I was a bit worried about potential noise beforehand but we slept well and were super cosy all night.

Cosy hostel in the old town of Hull, with a friendly and helpful owner Glenn, who makes you feel very welcome during your stay and can help you with ideas of places to go. Bunk in dorm was cosy with a privacy curtain on lower bed, and there is a kitchenette which is handy. Would stay here again next time I'm in Hull.

Shower is not great, the window didn't open.

Location to the city centre
Paper thin walls, kitchenette directly outside bedroom door. Motion sensor light on the stairs did not light up straight away so the stairs were dark initially when using them.
