Look no further for a 4-day stay :)

Close proximity to hotel - restaurants, shops, MRT station Majid Jasmek. Rooms were spot on and as advertised. Well-maintained premises and super-friendly staff. No hassles during check in, straight-forward.

No complaints during my stay.

Nice, helpful and friendly stuff. Very clean and tidy. Big bathroom. 24h reception. Near to many places of interest. Thanks! :)

Only one note to mention (not a complain) - the AC was mounted facing the bed. Could be an issue for some people.

到了店下大雨，连个停车位都没有，还要停在马路旁打双灯淋雨进去，店员说他们有免费停车位在后面，我就叫她带我去，到了她说那排有红线的是他们的停车位，我就把车停在那里了，结果到了隔天退房要上车时却被人拦截说要付钱才能离开，我倒回酒店老板员工却不承认，不负责，还表现得要打人的样子，老板是印度人，说话反来反去，一点责任感也没有！It was raining heavily when I arrived at the store, and there wasn't even a parking space. I had to park on the side of the road with double lights on to get in the rain. The store clerk said they had free parking spaces at the back, so I asked her to take me there. When I got there, she said there were red lines in that row. The parking space was theirs, so I parked my car there. When I checked out the next day and wanted to get in the car, I was intercepted and told that I had to pay before I could leave. I turned back to the hotel and the owner and staff refused to admit it and were irresponsible. He also acted like he was going to hit someone. The boss was Indian, he spoke the wrong way, and he had no sense of responsibility at all!

Okay, but keep your expectations low.

It’s okay if you don’t expect too much. There was a fridge and there was bottled water waiting for us in the room. Room was spacious and WiFi was reliable.

We arrived at 4pm, while check in was at 2pm. Our room was not ready. When we returned, it wasn’t really clean; we’re all blond, but there were dark hairs throughout the bathroom; even in the toilet bowl! We were only given one keycard and as a family of five, we asked for a second one, but that was refused. There were people sleeping in the lobby when we came down the first morning, it’s a bit of a marginalized place. It’s not a hotel for light sleepers, it’s very loud. They only make up the room and empty the trash if specifically requested.

The hotel is near the train station so it's easy to move around, the room is big and clean, very convenient. The staff is also very nice and friendly. There are also many eateries and convenience stores.

My room is facing the street, so it is a bit noisy at night, not suitable for those who are sensitive to sound or have trouble sleeping. But if you stay in the inner rooms, then there is no problem.

I would choose it again if I would come back to Kuala Lumpur.

From the staff to the room and including the location, the Ahyu Hotel is fantastic! It's located in a very normal-nice street 2 minutes walking from Masjid Jamek LRT station which is a rapid transit station in Kuala Lumpur, and it is only 2 stops to KL Sentral from/since you will take the Express to airport. The Hotel is very well maintained, is very modern and very charming. It exceed my expectations being a 2 stars hotel indeed. Staff is very professional and kind. Wifi was just perfect all the time (we stayed in 3 nights). The room was very clean, air conditioner worked perfectly, maybe too strong :D . The area is plenty of shops and restaurants with a very delicious food. It is located in city centre and if you like walking, it's perfect to discover the city, old town. It's only a 25minutes to Petrona's tower. We walked the distance from the hotel and was a very pleasant walk, as the city is very safe and clean and people very nice and kind. Bathroom, bed, were perfect and very clean. I would choose it again if I would come back to Kuala Lumpur.

Great location and easy to get to the metro station (4 min walk). Beds were comfortable and room had aircon. Staff were friendly and room was clean..

Room had a slightly odd smell from the bathroom, but tbh we found this everywhere in Malaysia. Security box was locked from previous stay.

pleasant stay

We booked for a 3-night stay between 4 days. We were away on the second day and they allowed us to leave our luggage in the hotel, which is a big convenience that we do not need to carry too many things with us on our journey.

We were not that lucky that the hotel elevator was in maintenance so we need to use the stairs (for 1 day only), but the staff is very friendly, he helped to carry our luggage upstairs.

brilliant little hotel in good location

The check-in was fast and very welcoming. I instantly felt safe. The location around the corner of a subway station was perfect for access to the subway system and to get to Sentral station for connecting to the airport. Though the bed took up almost all the room I found the interior comfortable. There were a fridge, hairdryer, tv and aircon. The bathroom was spacious in comparison and its walk-in shower was great. Chinatown with Petaling street is 5min walk away. There are plenty restaurants nearby.

The staff was really friendly to help with the parking issue. The hotel lift was under maintenance when we arrive, but the staff helps us bring our luggage up. The room is reasonably clean and is not far from petaling street.

Room size was ok, but I really don't appreciate sleeping with leg pointing directly to the main door. The lift maintenance lasted till the next day, so we have to bring our luggage down with stairs.
