Although the staff was not very friendly, the room was fairly clean and very spacious. I’ll stay there again.

三人部屋なのになぜか？エキストラベットが追加され4台になっていて、その一台がなかったら、もう少しBED間が通りやすかったかな。

It was an excellent stay.

The room was extremely clean especially the bathroom. The room also came with plenty of bathroom supplies.

The towels were a little rough and thin.

Great hotel in a young, stylish neighborhood.

Shin Okubo is centrally located with great restaurants and cafes near by, but it isn’t overwhelmingly crowded like Shinjuku or Shibuya.

The hotel is on the second floor and the big staircase is a bit difficult. I could see it being a problem for older people or if someone is recovering from an injury.

Huge room, by far the most amount of space we found anywhere in Tokyo and Japan! Room is well soundproofed and couldn’t hear much of the outside noise despite being in a bustling location!

Furnishings and property is quite dated which was not too much of a problem for us.

Nice, comfortable.

The hotel is very near to Shin-Okubo station, only minutes away. The station has lift access from platform to ground floor, with luggages in tow, makes it so easy to get to hotel. Don donki is just below the hotel, while there are Family Mart and Lawsons on the same street. So easy to get your necessities. Room and bathroom are spacious. Water pressure is pretty good.

No lift to the hotel lobby, don't bring too large a luggage if you can't lift it up the 2 flight of stairs No water provided in hotel room

Room was spacious. Hotel located nearby the shin okubo JR station that takes only 3 minutes walk.

Room was spacious comparing to the others i used to stay in Tokyo.

Toilet bowl leaked when flushing that gave a little bad smell.

Location and a 4 person room great worth for value, furniture is not the newest but for 3-4 nights it's definitely ok! Convenience store and bars right outside on the main street, including the underground.

Great value for the money

Great location for visiting Tokyo, one train stop from Shinjuku Stn. Hotel room is very spacious and comfortable and we didn't mind the décor that is pretty dated. Hotel staff friendly and accommodating, last day after checkout there was no problem to leave the luggage at the hotel before departure. A very convenient Family Mart just a few meters from the hotels and lots of places to eat around.

Shin Okubo is one of the only two Yamanote stations, with Mejiro, not to offer a direct connection with another line. If you plan on using the convenient metro day pass for transportation around Tokyo, there is no metro direct access.

Superb

Amazing location, equidistant from shin-okubu and okubu Station. Very large spacious room. The room is dated but everything was clean and actually for Tokyo terms it was more a suite than a room.

Variety of restaurants and shops nearby Close to subway station Many 24 hour restaurants nearby Spacious room(no one can beat this size for the money paid in central location)

Bad wifi Stairs to climb to go to reception(if you have a heavy suitcase) Need to leave the key every time you leave even for a brief convenience store visit
