Beautiful, scenic cottage. Very peaceful, comfortable and well appointed. A neighbour looks after the cottage and she was very helpful with my two queries.
A bit further than we thought from the village- fine for me and my son, but trickier for my father. He made good use of the many taxis though!

We loved everything about this quaint little cottage.
Nothing

Location and views are excellent. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds
Bathroom was not very clean and the whole house needed a good hoover.
4.7
Excellent cottage to stay in on lovely island. Plenty of room - great outdoor area with stone table etc
The distance from village for supplies, meals etc - over 2 km though we did know that in advance.
Alot of people stop for photos or even walk up to be nosy because it is a novel structure
4.7
very atmospheric. great views and central for walking.
nothing. could have been improved with a few more “fittings” - a cafetière, a grater, a peeler.
4.7
The cottage had everything we needed (self-catering), had beautiful views and a super comfortable loft bedroom.
4.7
It had plenty of room for our Volunteers to use as a base. It was clean and the facilities were excellent. They were delighted to experience 2 nights in a amazing place

The cottage has real charm. It's central location on Aran makes it an excellent base to explore the island by foot. Taxi drivers were available when needed, and provided all the local knowledge we needed.
The weather! Very wet. Radiators enable drying of wet clothes, but more windows that open would have been a bonus.
4.7
beautiful cottage , very warm , kitchen fully equipped. plenty towels. lovely garden area for bbq
little far from pub was only down side

wonderful, cosy cottage. warm and well equipped, surprisingly spacious and very comfortable. large garden and outdoor seating area with magnificent views
the only snag was the lack of a wardrobe but this doesn’t matter much for short stays
4.7
The house is beautiful. Magnificent views from the house.
4.7
Beautiful decorated, very clean and well equipped.
30 min walk from the nearest village.
Quiet area with a beautiful view.
Very helpful host.
No WiFi
Unfortunately when raining taxi’s can be pricey to and from the village.

Location very good
The cottage was excellent

lovely cottage cosy excellent views

Very cute from the outside! Lovely views and the half door is a lovely feature. We made use of the table outside for breakfast and we were glad of the extra blankets and throws.
Disappointed the fire wasn't a real fire and artificial candles didn't work so it didn't feel as cosy as we expected. It could of been cleaner, a good few cobwebs and spiders and the bathroom needs a good deep clean.
4.7
Everything was perfect! The location as well, if you are that kind of person that prefers piece and quiet. Cause it's a litle bit out of the way. Which we really loved!
Support from owner was excellent even with the Covid Situation.
We would love to come back again .
Everything was good, one suggestion would be the option of having bicycles directly at the cottage for a small charge of course.
