Looking forward to coming back some time.

This is a treasure, I almost don’t want to leave a good review in case it gets booked out for when I next want to stay in Derry.

Honestly, there’s nothing not to love.

Lovely decor, good location, good parking. A great stay.

We had the option of calling Colin who offered to meet us with the keys on arrival but this was not necessary as we accessed the key safe easily.

Nirvana comes to Derry

This is an absolutely fabulous 'snug', a well equipped kitchen and longue on the ground floor and a delightful bedroom with a massive bed on the first (with an attached shower room and lavatory). I have stayed in many hotels and rented apartments on my travels over the last 12 years and this was the greatest place I've stayed in. And you will pay more to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Derry (and I have!)

It's not mine - boo hoo. There is nothing not to like about Sorley Boy's Snug. It's stunning.

This is a fab location. Tastefully appointed. Comfy. Great location though I was up there for family imbeds reasons. Derry is surprisingly hilly so good for the glutes. A wee bit dark Lacking natural light in daytime but tastefully Done and nice. Ohh! The steps are a wee bit dodgy so be careful.

We had the perfect stay and it was hard to leave the cozy flat. We will definitely stay here again on out next visit

The property was so cozy and warm when we arrived. There was milk and cereals left in the fridge for us and a great coffee machine so we didn’t have to think about breakfast on the first day. We also received a call before we arrived to check if we needed anything else. The bed and sofa were so comfortable and everything was clean. There was even fresh flowers on the table which I felt was a lovely touch. The location was also perfect, only a 10 minute walk to the city centre.

An excellent property with character in a great location. Close to city centre but very quiet Contact with the team was excellent with a little welcome pack provided. Will be definitely staying again on my next visit My thanks to Paul and the team.

Ticks absolutely every box.

This is a lovely, warm, comfortable space that is perfectly situated in the city centre. It is only a couple of minutes walk from everything, whilst being serenely peaceful.

A new shower head is needed but, apart from that we loved absolutely everything.

I would love to give a better review, but unfortunately, my husband left £180 on the dining room table when we left. I called to see about retrieving the money and was told it was not there.

a nice starting point to expore Derry

Not far from the city (15 minutes walk) Nice cosy apartment and decor clean

the coach was very low en littlebit saggy the shower tray was leaking very little daylight at the ground floor

I loved this property, it really was 'snug'! The owners had sent a message with the access codes and the heating had been put on for us which was lovely. The décor of the property was just great, and everything was so comfortable and clean. There was everything you could need to cook or prepare food in the little kitchen and the property had such a nice feel to it that we wanted to spend more time in it then actually exploring Derry!

I don't really have any negatives other than perhaps some coat hooks by the front door would have been good for our big winter coats. Also the property is located up a very steep hill which was fine for us but perhaps other visitors who travel on foot would need to know that.

Sorley Boys Snug had a real homely feel to it. The hosts had the heating on for us when we arrived and were very welcoming. We got a full run down of the facilities and a few recommendations too. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Was such a good base for exploring Derry. About a 5 min walk from the Guildhall where there are great bars and restaurants.

The heating system was almost too good. I'd recommend turning it down a small bit.

Excellent stay for couples visiting Derry and so close to the city centre.

Everything about this place was amazing. The hosts could not have been more accommodating. When we got there they had left groceries and had the heating on which made it very cosy.

Fab wee place to stay if visiting Derry very central and handy for everything. Great service from Conor with milk cereal tea/coffee and biscuits provided. And also arranging taxi to and from airport many thanks and will deffo be back 👌🏽

Access to property is not from Northland Road so more detailed access instructions would have been beneficial. Would have liked for towels and toiletries

Weekend away

My girlfriend and I when we go away love self catering stays and Sorley Boys Snug was perfect for us. It was totally different to any place we have ever stayed at before. It was cosy, quirky and perfect for a romantic weekend away. The location is great aswel everything is within walking distance or a couple of mins away in the car. We had an issue with the heating and the owner had it sorted for us within 5 minutes which was amazing.
