Can’t wait to come back to the lighthouse !!

Everything was fabulous but Liz was so friendly and helpful the room was amazing. Beds comfy and the view. Well the pictures tell the story. Fabulous 3 nights for us. Would love to go back easy drive to the spit and to town. Great location and quiet

Enjoyed the stay

Interesting that there are several overgrown bushes out back that block some of the views. Must be a reason? Bathroom sink water very slow to go down. This had to have caught the attention of the landlord when suite was cleaned prior to rental.

The location was perfect. View was outstanding. We asked to check in early, and they were very accommodating. Well-appointed. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is that we could hear the people in the rooms above us walking around. It could do with some soundproofing.

Beach atmosphere rooms with magnificent view.

Would be happy to stay here again

The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable with two huge beds. We had lovely views of the water and mountains, as well as an outside communal hot tub where we could relax on one of the chillier days we had (we visited end of September). The hosts were kind and responsive. Property is just a short drive to downtown Homer and the Spit. I would be happy to stay here again! Just a note for those booking to pay attention to whether you’re booking a room without a kitchen, or an apartment with a kitchen. Some rooms have a full kitchen while ours did not—this is not the property’s fault, it was my own oversight when I saw property photos of other rooms and didn’t verify that my room was different, so just sharing in case others might be like me and miss that detail (if important to you). Our room had a fridge, tv, sound machine, microwave and a cute little breakfast station appliance (that could make coffee, eggs and toast). Pretty much all you’d need for most vacations anyway! Highly recommend. :)

Nice room spacious and clean.

Room was not ready on time. The deck area, grills, chairs, and hot tub were not usable. Fishing was cancelled due to high winds... so not much more to do in Homer. Would have been nice to use the outdoor kitchen if it were clean.

Fabulous Find!!

WONDERFUL FIND! This place couldn't be nicer. It has amazing views of the bay and mountains. The place has been completely remodeled. Decorating was out of a magazine. The microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker were perfect for preparing a light breakfast before heading out for the day. The bathroom has heated floors. The lighting in the room and bathroom was wonderful. There is also a grill/picnic table area and a hot tub area. Wish it had been warmer so we could have enjoyed both. You can not beat this accommodation. We would definitely come back. Host and property manager were very accommodating and easily accessible. Thanks for a GREAT stay.

Luxe Lodging with Great Views

Our best lodging in Alaska. Filled with natural light, and a sublime view of Homer spit and the mountains. The decor and furnishings were very nice, with very comfortable beds and pillows, a well-outfitted kitchen, and great deck. The host was especially nice and full of information. The hot tub area looked very nice but we didn't use it.

This isn't in a walkable area, but it's just q short drive down the hill onto the Homer Spit. Overall not really a negative, but know that you'll need to drive everywhere,

Great location close to everything. Only 5 mins drive to the spit. Very convenient ! The room have everything you need, kitchen, washer and dryer and comfortable bed. One big plus, million dollars view, you can see the mountain from the bed. We will definitely come back if we visit Homer again.

Very clean and cute. Nice view across the bay.

First night something kept alarming every 5-10 minutes. We hadn’t used anything yet. Messaged the owner, no response. Finally my husband turned off the furnace, that solved it. Next day went to make dinner, realized there were no bowls for the soup we were having. Only 3 spoons and a large serving spoon in the drawer. Had to go back to store to by toilet paper, the owner would have brought some the next day.

Incredible views and homey feeling above Kechemack Bay.

The property is located on a cliff overlooking the Bay, Homer Spit and the mountain peaks and glaciers. Room was spacious and airy with a fabulous view. Nice gardens and common area with hot tub, fire pit and barbeques. Very friendly staff. First rate and way beyond expectations.

Lovely location at a great ocean-front lodging

Fabulously outfitted ground-floor large large 1 BR condo "studio" with fab ocean view and complete with d/washer and full laundry in the unit. Great kitchen supplies and utensils. Lovely outdoor common space with grills and hot tub. Very comfortable linens. wifi was above average for vacation lodging - >7 MPS (megabits/sec) down and 4 MPS up.

We were on the ground floor with another floor above us (2 BR condo). There were two different families with 2-4 kids of all ages above us. For 2 of 3 nights, we had to deal with extensive noise from stomping around the unit to very loud talking, and yelling at hours that in most lodgings would be quiet hours (9 pm - 7 am). This noise woke us up several times during the night which was difficult as we needed to be up at 5 am for early boat tours and other activities. We brought this to Nathan's attention when we left and he agreed with the suggestion to post Quiet Hours (which was not mentioned anywhere in the Welcome Book). Hopefully, this will helps others staying on the ground floor.

Paradise with a View

The property was fantastic with a million dollar view. We stayed in the penthouse (whole 2nd floor with 2 bathrooms) with the full porch. Charmingly decorated and very clean. They stocked the apartment with amenities.

They had a lot of fragrance dispensers, so if you’re sensitive to fragrance, contact the property prior to have them removed. The draperies were hard to open and close and do not provide enough room darkening for the light timetable of Alaskan summers.

Great, it was a nice room, very clean and a nice view.

Breakfast was not included. We had thought we had a room with a kitchen, but we didn't which was fine. The room was very nbice.

The walls were 'thin', we could hear the people across the hall, but it wasn't bad.
