Good winter stay

Nice hotel at the end of the spit. I really enjoyed the amazing view. The beds were pretty comfortable and the room itself was cozy. I really liked that the windows opened and there was a balcony to enjoy the fresh air outside. The drink vending machine was out of the healthier choices so options were limited. Overall we had a good stay and would love to book again in the future.

Just what I expected. Rustic place on the shore of the land’s end. The view off the back porch is quintessential Alaskan.

Great place to stay!!!!!!

Anything we needed was available at the front desk. Condo style facility. Over priced for end of season but nice. Would stay here again but shop for it differently. Needs a screen on back patio door so the ocean sounds can be heard.

Love having a bay view from our deck. Just wish the deck rails were a little lower or chairs on deck were higher. Couldn’t sit down and enjoy the view.

We were all so excited at the location out on the Homer spit. Nothing you could do about all rain but we had a blast anyway!!

Check in was a disaster. The first lady to assist us was new and we were ok with her going slow. But when the senior lady came over to answer a question she had, it quickly went down hill. Senior lady was very rude and loud and very condescending to the first lady. She ended up making the same error as the first one and so the process dragged on. Our keys did not work so we had to return to the front desk and Vikki was no less unpleasant. Not one apology. The room was sparsely appointed and had no closet. Bathroom was stark with a pedestal sink with no place to put anything. No screen on the sliding door. No luggage stands. No heat control. No housekeeping in the mornings. And this was not a cheap hotel. Lucky for us the Homer Spit made up for all the Lands End lacked. As did the Three Moose Kayak Adventures made up for it 1000 times. Highly recommend this tour.

Lodge had been smoked in and was very noticeable. Front desk staff was rather condescending about it Not a dealbreaker, but do not feel like the property as a whole was up to the pricing

Very old property, rooms are tiny/dingy but cannot beat the location - absolutely unreal place.
Staff is helpful but the facilities are basic at best

Location is amazing.
Loud music next door at 3 am. I called the front desk ant anpp 3:30 am to inform them that there’s a violation of their ‘quiet time’ policy. Although she said she would take care of the problem, music continued until approximately 4:30 AM.

The hotel has an excellent location. We could walk to the tour departure area .. it's about 1 mile. Restaurants are very close to the hotel. Our room was small but clean.

This "condo" was the ultimate in Alaskan luxury. We were like kids in a candy store. The view has no match. The weather was too bad to go on our Halibut charter, but that was just fine. We really enjoyed the many comforts of this property and relaxed. Definitely will book again.

the location and the room was amazing. we got the 2 room suite. hear the gulls and the waves crashing. the setting was perfect. that said, we were there 3 nights and did not have any housekeeping come through. the bathroom wasn’t clean in the corners or behind the toilet and there were dead bugs in the window sill. the beds are very comfortable and the Chart Room restaurant was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend going there!!!

Very nice property on prime ocean front location. Incredible views!

We started going 5 years ago and rooms were awesome. They are bit tired last couple of years. Carpet bit worn out and plumbing fixtures needing attention. Not as clean as it used to be. All of this not huge but if you are paying over $400 a night it is a bit of a problem. You are definitely paying for its great location. I will be back but hopefully some of these items get some attention in future.

Nice room with great bedding. Our view of the Bay was wonderful. Our check in was a little rushed and we were not told where many of the amenities and restaurant was located. Coffee?

Our visit to Lands End Resort was excellent. We travelled with children, ages 12 and 14 who loved the pool and hot tub. The location at the end of the Homer spit was incredible! We had amazing views and access to the beach for walking and fishing. Caught fish right off the beach and found shells and starfish in the mornings. Room was clean and comfortable. Appreciated room darkening shades. No air conditioning but all room have fans; with ocean breeze room temp was very comfortable. Small fridge in room was a nice bonus. Only thing that could make it better would be free coffee for hotel guests.
